It's A Game We Play
"Congratulations, you have all survived Round 1."

The group looked around to see where the echoed female voice was coming from. It sounded like they were speaking through a PA system.
Bayley slapped her hand against Finn's arm to get his attention, "Look! Up there!" She pointed to the swirl of clouds in the sky, that had a bright light in the middle.
"Jesus?!" Aj called out.
Dean squinted at him, "Did your mother drop you on the head when you were a baby?"
"No..."
"So you're naturally just an idiot with a soccer mom hair cut?"
Becky shoved Ambrose, "Shut up, Dean."
Suddenly, a fit of laughter filled the air. The arguing amongst the group came to a hault. "I'm sure you are all wondering why you're here."
"It crossed my mind once or twice!" A.J called out sarcastically, towards the voice in the sky.
"You all were just in the right place, at the wrong time." The voice informed, "It really could have been anybody in your position."
"What's the point of all this?" Finn asked, "Where the hell are we?"
A male voice began to speak, "The point? Haaaaaaa....." He dragged a laugh, "This, all of this. It's a game we play. You, run around and try to survive whatever situation we choose to put you in. You do that, you win."
"You sick, motherfucker!" Becky screamed. "Get us the fuck out of here!"
"That's the wonderful thing. You aren't trapped in this world that we created for you." He laughed, "Not physically. I mean." A projection was shown in the sky. Strapped there to a seat and cables, were A.J Lee, Dean Ambrose, Becky Lynch, Finn Bálor, Bayley, and Aj Styles. "You see?" The man was enthusiastic due to this reveal. "You're all safe. Free from harm!" He cackled loudly.
"What the fuck...." Bayley mumbled to herself. How was this even possible? If they're there, but also in this cage. Then was death a possibility? "Can we die in here?" She finally gained the courage to speak.
The woman from before spoke again, "Your subconscious is just as part of you as your physical body. In this world, if you die. So does your physical body."
"Oh shit...." She grabbed at her hair, "Oh shit... This can't be happening. This has to be some sort of bad acid trip."
Dean looked at his friend, "Nah. This is some 'Insidious' shit."
"Maybe we have to force ourselves to wake up!" Aj suggested, resulting Dean to punch him in the arm. "Ow!"
"Didn't work."
The voices in the sky laughed. "That's not how the game works." The woman told them. "When Bayley found out how they were being tricked, the round ended. Resulting in her getting an extra life."
"What does that mean?" She asked.
"If you die in there, we will program you to regenerate once. Whoever is the one to, in this case, figure out why everything was happening, you will win a life for being the one to complete the round."
"What if we decide not to play?" Finn argued, "you're just gonna keep our subconscious stuck in this place forever?"
"Believe me, you will play this game. In the end, whoever makes it out alive will be granted $250,000 each. If only one of you makes it out, you'll get 1 million dollars. As for us, the creators of this game, will be placing bets on each and every one of you on who is the most likely to survive and who is most likely to die."
"But if for some reason you refuse to play along until the end, we'll shoot a lethal injection into your blood stream and you will die."
The group looked at each other. They didn't have a choice. "We'll play along with this shit game." Dean said, "How long will this last? Hours? Days? Weeks?"
"It may feel like that." The lady said, "What you're in is called the Hyperbolic Ephemeral Lucid Labyrinth. Aka, HELL."
"Clever word play." Becky whispered to herself.
"One day in there, equals 1 hour out here."
"When does this game end?" A.J asked.
"It wouldn't be fun if we told you that." The man chuckled.
"Before we begin the next round, we will always inform you about the survival ratio." The woman spoke, "My partner will do that now."
"Aj Styles: 4 out of 10 chance of survival
A.J Lee: 5.5 out of 10
Dean Ambrose: 6 out of 10
Becky Lynch: 4 out of 10
Bayley: 7 out of 10
Finn Bálor: 8.5 out of 10"
"Your ratio will fluctuate as the game progresses. A.J Lee has a high ratio because she discovered the force field and the changing of scenery. Dean Ambrose for convincing Finn that he wasn't a clone, and Bayley for her brains. And Finn Bálor for his ability to go in for a kill."
"If you play smart, we will lend a hand to help you. Like dropping weapons down."
"What about food?" Dean asked.
"You're all connected to an IV. You don't starve out here, you don't starve in there. Now, anymore questions?"
"What would have happened if we went with those robots?" Bayley asked.
"They would have lead you to your death. Which would have honestly been very anti climatic. Anything else we can answer for you?"
The group looked at each other then shook their heads.
"Wonderful!" The creators clapped, "Let Round 2 begin!"
