1 WEEK LATER
"Why're you acting so surprised?" Yeonjun chuckled, looking at Miyeon as the crowd began screaming.
She was wearing the outfit he picked out for her at the clothing store, her orange hair making the black and red outfit seem even more fitting.
Ever since they went on their first "date", the two were basically inseparable. Jooseok had moved Miyeon into the band's home, and Wooyoung started staying with Felix for the time being.
They were always together, and in the short month they'd known each other, the two actually became alright with each other.
Miyeon hadn't expected him to be easy to cooperate with, and honestly, Yeonjun didn't think she would stick around this long.
"I didn't process that this many people would come to a concert." She gasped, peeking through the curtain and staring at the fangirls in front.
Yeonjun tilted his head, "This isn't much larger than the crowd the day we met."
"It's just different seeing it from up here." Miyeon shuddered, finally backing away from the curtain and looking at her fake boyfriend.
He smirked, "Don't tell me Lee Miyeon is getting shy."
Miyeon stared at him for a moment before smirking herself, moving closer to the older male in front of her.
A little too close.
Their bodies were only mere inches a part, black strands from Yeonjun's hair tickling the girl in front of him's forehead as she looked up at him.
"I don't get shy, Choi Yeonjun."
He looked down at her lips.
She let out a low giggle and pulled away, leaving the older disappointed.
"So all I'm doing is running across the stage to hand you a water bottle?" She pondered.
Yeonjun nodded, "Yeah. Jooseok said he wanted you to seem like a caring girlfriend or whatever."
He raised his arms above his head, staff members racing to put on his microphone correctly.
"Wouldn't that just make people think you're using me as an errand girl?" She rose her eyebrow, "It would make more sense for me to kiss you good luck or cheer you on from the sidelines."
The rockstar almost choked on his spit.
"Also why is Jooseok so strict with you guys? Rockstars are known to be crazy and do whatever they want — not saying you should've been an asshole though." She continued.
Yeonjun smirked at the insult.
Yeah. He still had his narcissistic moments.
"I don't know Miyeon, maybe you should ask him." He joked.
Miyeon smiled, "Okay, I will."
And before Yeonjun could stop her, she skipped away from him and pretended to look for their manager.
"Hey! Miyeon!" He ran up to her, grabbing her carefully. "Let's not do that, I was joking."
She giggled, "You're The Badboy Rockstar Heart-throb but you're scared of your manager?" She joked.
"Didn't you literally get arrested like two months ago?"
Yeonjun sighed, pushing his hair back and showing off that dangerous piercing between his eyebrow.
"It's complicated." Was all he said, "Please don't speak with him about that."
HueningKai walked out of the dressing room next to them, holding the dinosaur plushie Miyeon had bought for him two days ago.
She smiled at the sight.
"Hey Miyeon!" He spoke once he noticed her, "Hey Yeonjunie!"
"Hey kiddo." Yeonjun replied, Miyeon simply waved.
Beomgyu and Taehyun suddenly walked out of a dressing room a few doors down, the orange-haired girl gasping and moving to the other side of Yeonjun.
"Hey carrot-face." Taehyun joked, Miyeon rolling her eyes.
He started calling her that the day she moved into the company complex.
It turns out she stayed directly across the hall from them instead of with them, much to her own liking. She didn't think she could handle living with Beomgyu.
She couldn't even handle being near him for long periods of time.
Yeonjun noticed that.
"Hey Miyeon," Beomgyu greeted, "Nice outfit."
She felt her heart drop.
"I picked it out." Yeonjun commented, voice suddenly low.
"G-good choice." The long haired boy repeated.
Finally, Soobin came out of his dressing room.
His hair was now purple, like really purple.
"I like your hair, Soobin."
— "Of course you would, carrot-face." Taehyun laughed, "The two of you are basically the Halloween duo."
Soobin rolled his eyes playfully at his younger bandmate before telling Taehyun to leave Miyeon alone, noticing the girl's face had turned red.
He assumed it was because she was angry.
She actually just watched Beomgyu tie his hair into a ponytail and got flustered.
The Rockstars were eventually escorted to the stage, the fans outside screaming as soon as they came into view. Miyeon stood on the side of the stage, just far enough to where the fans couldn't see her, holding tightly onto the plushie Kai had asked her to "watch" for him.
"How are you guys doing tonight?" Soobin shouted, hyping the crowd.
Yeonjun looked to the side, pretending to call for water.
Jooseok looked at Miyeon expectantly, the two of them standing beside each other.
Miyeon sat the plushie in a seat nearby, grabbing a water bottle from the table. She ran up happily towards Yeonjun and the crowd went insane.
"Miyeon!"
"Oh shit it's the girlfriend."
She laughed at the commentary of the fans and handed Yeonjun the water bottle as scripted.
Jooseok nodded approvingly, expecting Miyeon to run back towards him immediately as planned.
Except she didn't move her legs one bit.
Instead, she reached her arms up to Yeonjun's shoulders and pulled him close — the water bottle now against her stomach.
The celebrity's eyes looked confused, but his body played along. He shot her a playful smirk and leaned down, causing Miyeon to give one back.
Yeonjun expected her to kiss him on the cheek or give him a soft hug. He glanced at Jooseok's angry expression and hesitated to continue.
He probably would've pulled back if Miyeon hadn't placed the palms of her hands against his chest and leaned forward, kissing him softly in front of everyone.
And as if that alone wasn't going to cause enough problems, the feeling Miyeon felt when she pulled away and saw the adorable smile on Yeonjun's face most certainly was.
