(11) LOVE AND WAR.
"What the fuck do you mean you can't find him?" Wooyoung asked, sipping his pumpkin spice latte as he and Miyeon continued walking down the street.
She scoffed, "I mean he just up and fucking left two days ago and he's still not back."
She thought for sure he would be with Jooseok or at least spoke with him — but according to him, he'd not seen Yeonjun at all.
She didn't trust him on that, but hey, what can you do?
After Miyeon had checked the company building, she went back to the boys' room. They had all looked in different places for him, with bodyguards of course, ranging from his favorite food places to the clubs he used to be found in by paparazzi.
Obviously they couldn't thoroughly look through each club, but Yeonjun was always a party animal. You'd know if he was there.
And now, it'd been almost three days since he disappeared and Miyeon was scared that something happened to him.
"How do you just lose a Choi Yeonjun?" Wooyoung joked, "He's gotta be somewhere quiet for no one to see him."
Miyeon looked away, "Or dead."
"Why does your mind immediately go to death?" He rolled his eyes.
"Um? Because my rockstar boyfriend is missing and knowing him he'd do something stupid and cause a scandal by now." She uncrossed her arms, the heat of the sun starting to get to her.
"Boyfriend?" Wooyoung smirked.
Miyeon blushed, not realizing she forgot to put "fake" in front of the word "boyfriend".
Or maybe she did, and simply didn't want to.
"Shut up." She smiled, pushing Wooyoung softly.
Yeah, you can't push him.
Dramatic bitch.
Wooyoung gasped, lifting a hand onto his forehead and pretending to fall from the impact — not caring that he just dropped onto a dirty sidewalk.
The orange-haired looked down at her stupid ass friend on the ground.
And then she kept going.
"Miyeon you can't leave me!" Wooyoung scoffed, getting up and running to catch up with her.
"Wooyoung you spilled your coffee." She continued, not even looking at him.
"Fuck."
They then walked back Felix's home, unaware of the camera flashes from behind them.
—
"Beomgyu, when do you think Yeonjun's gonna come home?" Hueningkai asked, arms wrapped tightly around his dinosaur plushie.
He simply got a shrug as a response.
"I don't know Kai, he seemed different last time we saw him." Beomgyu finally spoke, pushing his hair back into a headband.
Kai looked up from the softness in his arms, "What about the concert tomorrow? Are we canceling it?"
Beomgyu shook his head, "It's too late to cancel. People have already drove and flew here, it wouldn't be right to do it this late."
Kai nodded again.
"Well, who's gonna sing his part?"
And this time he didn't get a reply.
Because no one knew what the hell they were gonna do.
—
Soobin and Taehyun sat across the wooden desk, arms crossed as they glared into Jooseok's soul.
"I know he was here, Jooseok." Was all Soobin said, resulting in a dry chuckle from the ugly fuck on the other side of the desk.
Taehyun nodded in agreement, his blonde hair tickling his forehead.
"And what about it, Soobin?" Jooseok tilted his head.
The lavender-haired leader put on an obviously fake smile, his cute dimples contrasting the flames in his eyes.
"Tell us where he is." Taehyun demanded, "Because if you don't I'm going to tell Miyeon and she's gonna fucking kill you."
Miyeon.
Miyeon.
Lee fucking Miyeon.
Jooseok rolled his eyes, the name rolling so confidently off of Taehyun's tongue irritated him.
I knew she was a perfect match for him.
But not in the way that I had hoped.
"He's with his parents." He smirked, "That's all you need to know."

Miyeon smiled softly at the adorable photo.
"I didn't know Beomgyu had a parrot." Wooyoung frowned, his cheek on Miyeon's shoulder as he crawled to see what was on her phone.
She smirked, "Yeah he's never posted a photo before."
Wooyoung groaned and pushed her onto the couch, getting on top of her and playfully swinging — "Why the fuck do you get to be so lucky and date some hot ray of fucking sunshine and learn things we don't?"
"You forgot the part where I slept with Yeonjun." She joked.
And Wooyoung froze.
"W-what the fuck you mean?" He gasped.
Miyeon didn't look him in the eye, realizing she never told Wooyoung about what happened before he left.
"You fucked Choi Yeonjun?" He asked again.
Slowly, she nodded.
The male suddenly got off of her, thanking the universe for Felix not being home at the moment. He stood up.
He cleared his throat.
"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN YOU SLEPT WITH THE SEXIEST MOTHERFUCKER ON THE PLANET???? WHAT IN THE EVERLOVING FUCK DID YOU DO IN YOUR PAST LIFE I AM SO TIRED OF THE DISRESPECT I AM WITNESSING EVERY DAY."
Miyeon burst into laughter at her best friend's panic, resulting in him laughing with her.
"So basically, you had some wattpad love moment and then had a cute date at your house and then fucked and now he's gone?" Wooyoung asked once they'd stopped laughing.
"I mean when you say it like that-"
"Was I wrong though?"
She rolled her eyes, "No."
Wooyoung shifted in his seat, "And now Jooseok is saying he's with his parents but he never did anything with his family until now?"
She nodded.
"Okay so he's either running away from the obvious feelings he has for you or Jooseok's lying and he's dead." He nodded to himself, "OR he found out some girl that he fucked got pregnant and he moved to Cuba."
"Woo, literally what the fuck?" Miyeon wheezed, the two starting to laugh again.
Then the front door opened.
A cute blonde boy with freckles walked into the house, his face matching the scarlet uniform he was currently wearing.
Miyeon looked at Wooyoung, who was looking at the boy with stars in his eyes.
She felt her heart do a little dance in her chest, happy that her best friend found someone he loved.
But then another male came through the door, holding a sack full of groceries.
He wore all black, the only color on his body being the silver piercing jewelry on both sides of his nose.
He was muscular and his arms were covered in tattoos.
Everything about this man contrasted the first one who radiated sunshine and flowers.
Miyeon saw the stars in Wooyoung's eyes turn into meteors, crashing down and shattering his heart into a million pieces.
"Hey Woo!" The blonde smiled, "Changbinnie brought me the ingredients to make those brownies you wanted to try!"
Wooyoung put on a fake smile, "I can't wait."
Changbin placed the sack on Felix's countertop, kissing his forehead before walking back into the younger's bedroom.
Wooyoung watched as Felix shyly looked down, his face still red as he played with his fingers.
He knew it was wrong, but the brown and blonde-haired male couldn't help but wished Changbin had liked Hyunjin instead of Felix.
"Wooyoung and I will be right back," Miyeon announced, "Felix..right?"
Felix nodded and replied, "Okay! When you come back you're more than welcome to stay and eat brownies with us."
Miyeon looked at the blonde in awe, she could understand why Wooyoung liked this boy.
He was beautiful and kind.
"Thank you, Felix!" She cooed, the blonde smiling in return.
Miyeon and Wooyoung walked down the sidewalks for the second time today, except now they were silent.
She hated seeing her best friend upset.
Wooyoung was the one thing she had in life that never left.
When her parents died, he was there for her — coming over to her house and making sure she was eating properly. He would even lay in bed with her and tell her stories until she peacefully fell asleep, the nightmares of the event keeping her awake most nights.
To Miyeon, Wooyoung was like magic — unexplainable, beautiful, and fun. She could never hate him, and he could never hate her.
They were inseparable, like life and death.
You couldn't have one without the other.
And seeing her other half crying on a bench right next to a streetlight in front of a park at seven o' clock on a Tuesday night was not about to change any of that.
"Woo.." She mumbled, her own eyes tearing up at the sight.
— "I just don't understand why it couldn't have been me." He sobbed, leaning against Miyeon when she wrapped her arms around him. "I mean before he was saying he didn't wanna fight for someone that didn't make him a priority, and now look!"
Miyeon let him continue.
"He's so pretty and perfect. It's not even fair! You saw him, there's no way you didn't think he was adorable. It's just that I know I could be so much better for him than Changbin!" Wooyoung exclaimed, "I mean I love Changbin he's a great friend to me and I feel so bad and confused but he's hurt Felix so many fucking times and yet he still gets to love him and I can't."
Miyeon opened her mouth, "Baby, sometimes you just can't have the one you want. Love works in hella mysterious ways and it never makes sense. Maybe one day Felix will end things with Changbin, maybe he won't. You can't live your life full of uncertainty."
— "You have to live your life for yourself."
"If you and Felix are meant to be, it'll happen - but I'm not going to sit here and let you waste away precious time because you want to keep trying for a love that's just not been planted yet."
She stood up, wrapping Wooyoung into a gentle embrace. "You said Changbin never puts him first, but what about you? Does Felix put you first, or does he focus on Changbin?" She rested her chin on her best friend's head, "Be happy with yourself, and someone will love you for everything you are."
They both got up, starting to walk again as Wooyoung wiped away his tears.
Walking around aimlessly, they ended up in front of some old junkyard.
Miyeon looked at Wooyoung mischievously before picking up a red bat that just happened to be on the ground in front of them, handing it to him carefully.
The male wasted no time bashing it into the car window next to him, the old thing already bent up with pieces missing.
He then bashed it against the sides of the raggedy car, denting it more and more as he threw his frustrations out onto every swing.
Wooyoung then handed the bat to Miyeon, who was confused.
"You're worried about Yeonjun." He sighed, sitting on a crate and regaining his breath.
Miyeon nervously tightened her grip on the bat, trying to process everything that was going on.
Where is Yeonjun?
Bam.
Is he okay?
Bam.
Why did he leave me after we did that?
Bam.
Why doesn't Felix see Wooyoung's feelings?
Bam.
"Why in the fuck can I not stop thinking about Choi Yeonjun?"
Miyeon hit the car door so aggressively that it fell off, the loud thud scaring her as she jumped back.
She looked over at Wooyoung, "Wow this shit actually works."
"Miyeon.." He gasped.
The girl looked at him in confusion, before realizing he was looking behind her.
So she turned around, hands still tight on the bat just in case it was some creepy fuck in the junkyard attempting to hurt them both.
But instead she found a now red-haired Yeonjun looking at her in disbelief, his grey flannel jacket dancing with the night air — showing his white tee shirt underneath.
"You're okay.." Was all she could say before bursting into tears.
You're really okay.
