As the chaos of the day

Is sealed away in its nightly envelope

All my troublesome thoughts

Are replaced by blessed hope.

The moon proudly looks down

The hushness of the evening is bliss

The heat of the hot day

Is now a comfortable cool kiss.

I love such relaxing moments

Where it's just me and the calmness now

Driving through the evening

Onto the grassy common, where the sun takes a bow.

Upon the horizon it says goodnight

The breeze flicks my hair upon my face

If heavenly moments do exist

Then for me it is here... in this moment and in this place.
