Mark Brooke | 04.09.2015

"Write your mobile number, here," Sarah says while tapping the space provided with her pointy nails.

He hesitates. He fills the space with the numbers — 213-509-6995.

"That's your home number. We need your number for this form."

"I don't have a number."

"What do you mean, by saying — 'don't have a number'?" Realization dawns on her.

"You don't have a phone!" She feigns shock, by making an exaggerated gesture.

Mark immediately mentally facepalms, himself. He shouldn't have told her. Sarah, being the Popular Kid in the grade, would tell everybody in her vicinity.

"Poor you. I would literally die without my phone." She snickers.
