[Third person pov]

Everyone went to either get a stick and put the fire on it or waved their arms to make it known that they were there. Nyree and Gyeongsu's hand were attached so they were jumping up and down with one arm waving. "Over here! We're here!" Cheong-san yelled with a stick in his hand. More people started to shout but it was useless. "Look at us, will you!?" Dae-su screamed as he climbed on to the edge. "Hey!" Joon-yeong screamed as well now holding Dae-su from falling to his death.

The helicopter flew closer and finally hovered near the school. The flashlight from the helicopter was bright and was shining in their eyes. No one cared though. They were cheering thinking they were going to get rescued.

The wind from the chopper forcefully pushed them back. "Damn that shit strong" Nyree said. All of a sudden the soldiers came from the helicopter and drew their guns at the students. "Woah!" Gyeongsu threw both of their hands up and the others copied. Cheong-san went to walk towards them when the soldier commanded them to get down. "Get down. All of you, down on the ground!"

"Sir,  please save us!" Dae-su pleaded. Ignoring the pleas of the children the soldiers relentlessly commanded them to get on the floor.

"Sir! Can't you just take a few of us?!" Cheong-san asked after pulling on-jo to the front. Nyree glanced at him in distaste. He was willing to let others stay here struggling to survive? In response the soldiers told them to back up and shot warning shots. "Sir.." He started. "I'm sorry" the soldier responded.

"Those fucking dumb bitches!" Nyree cursed. she assumed they either was playing a cruel joke on them they were going to rescue them or they had gotten instructions to leave her and her classmates behind. "Calm down." Gyeongsu consoled before he turned around and flipped them off himself. "Wow. He just like me forreal." Nyree muttered.

She wasn't as upset as them even though she kinda cursed them out. She just realized that they could get to somewhere safe and zombieless. Before they thought everywhere experienced zombies so she didn't really know if it was safer in/on the school or not. But since they came and was fine, somewhere had to be safe.

She went to the edge and watched as the zombies followed the sounds of the helicopter flying away. "They abandoned us, right?" Hyo-ryung asked crying,"No one will come to save us now, right?"

"w-why would they do that?" Joon-yeong asked staring into the distance. "Maybe.. They fucking thought we were zombies." Wu-jin suggested."Then they would've killed us."

"They wouldn't have left without killing us." Cheong-san said."You didn't notice them about to kill us?" Gwi-nam asked sarcastically, leaning onto Na-yeon's shoulder. Cheong-san ran and kicked the fire stomping it out. "Good job. Now what if we can't start it back up?" Gyeongsu asked his best friend.

"What are you doing?" On-jo asked pulling him away trying to get him to stop. He pulled his arm away and told her that it was useless. "No one's coming. No one is coming now." He went back to destroying their current living space acting crazy.

Nam-ra and Gwi-nam both covered their ears in pain. "Are you okay?" Na-yeon and su-hyeok questioned at the same time to their significant others. "My ears hurt so much." Nam-ra responded clutching her ears whimpering. Su-hyeok tore his shirt and made make shift ear plugs. Na-yeon used her hands to cover his ears in desperate attempts to help him as he was close to ending it all once again. "What going on?" Nyree asked.

A bolt of lighten went through the sky. Nyree noticed that Nam-ra and Gwi-nam were affected by the thunder before it came closer. It started raining. "Hey, it's raining." Dae-su said,"it's fucking raining!"

They were laughing and cheering. Expressing their joy at the fresh water coming from the sky. Soon enough they started crying the joy of the rain washed away thinking about their situation. Gyeongsu pulled Nyree closer as he held a piece of cardboard to cover their heads. He know how much she hated being in wet clothing.

Nyree laughed and gave him a peck on the lips before running away as he bagn to chase her. Unlike their classmates they decided to not dwell on things that couldn't be changed and to just live in the moment trying their best to survive. Maybe it was because gradually they gave up on thinking adults would save them. Maybe it was because they were with eachother.

I'm sorry yall 😓. This chapter ain't good and I couldn't yknow get into writing this one but I wanted to get at least something out because there probably won't be a chapter tomorrow because I'll be celebrating my sister's 18th birthday with her. I'll try to make the next chapter more eventful.

I feel like my writing down graded to be honest so I'll be working on that. I'll also will.be brainstorming more couple stuff Nyree and Gyeongsu could do. Tell me any ideas yall have. The next chapter will be better fr!
