"Huey sorry about yesterday" 

"I-its not that d-eep" Huey said flustered. Carly smiled "Good!" She put a thumbs up. "How's everything been?" She asked genuinely. "I'm fine," Huey said. "HUEY! HUEY!" A voice familiar to Huey but unfamiliar to Carly yelled from a distance the two stopped walking and turned around. A girl hugged Huey from behind almost making him tip over In the process. "Veronica?" He said confused. Carly lifted her eyebrow confused about who this girl could be. Huey and her aren't even that close but she feels a weird connection and Is uncomfy, to say the least. "Hueyyyy!" The girls smiled latching onto him. "Whos this Huey?" "This Is Vivi aka Veronica" He explained the girl extended a hand to Carly and for some odd reason Carly didn't want to take It so she didn't. "Tough crowd huh.." Vivi said shaking her head Huey and Veronica laughed together. "Let's go Huey Miss Misa Is making gumbo today!" She grabbed his hand "Really?!" Hueys eyes lit up. Veronica nodded and the two ran off together. Carly was left with no usual smirk, no laughter, no anything. Did she get ditched so easily? This was so weird. No way that girl Is THAT Important he just left with no warning. Carly shook her head trying to get rid of all thoughts "You know what" She thought. I'll just focus on Soccer I need those student's recommendations. Carly then heard a *bing*  and pulled out her phone. "We can go tomorrow" It read. "We can go tomorrow?" It was Huey but It wasn't an apology. "UGH!" She threw the phone on the ground aggravated. "He doesn't even care." She thought leaving behind a cracked phone. She arrived at her house and slumped down against the door. Carly is sensitive of course no one would except that to be one of her traits since she Is a school troublemaker but she can't help It Hueys supposed to be something of a friend and he's acting weird towards her. She doesn't like It. Days later Huey has been MIA It is now Monday and Carly's getting ready for school but all she can think about Is Huey and that girl what If Carly thoughts of having a friend not based on fear were all just a figment of her Imagination? Huey didn't respond to her texts or meet her at the Rec Center like they had planned Saturday but She just guessed she got her hopes up. Huey was now dead to her, not a friend, not an enemy or anything In between, they'll just go back to strangers.
