Lisa and him were standing a good ten feet away from them, when the two figures came out of the cinema.

They weren't physically touching, but they were close enough for Amjad to lean in and let his hair brush against hers, and whisper something to make her laugh.

Mikhail clenched his fist.

Lisa, on the other hand, doesn't notice as she looks through the options on the food stall.
It wasn't easy to get her to forgive him after the locking up incident, but she fianlly accepted his invitation to an apology date.

One he was about to ruin, with his head boiling as he watched his brother and the girl he once had - something with - walk together.

"Hey, babe do you want mayo?" Lisa asked.

"Huh? Yeah sure."

"You're not even listening are you?!" His girlfriend shouts, causing him to finally drag his eyes back to her.
"You hate mayo! So you're clearly not listening, I mean..."

As Lisa furiously rambles on, Mikhail shifts his attention two where it was earlier.

Only to see that they were gone.

Mikhail knew better to let Nila get into his life again and he knew better to let Amjad anywhere near her.
They'd ruin him, so he had to ruin them first.

He had to end them.
