I wrapped my fingers around the pillar to give myself support as I caught my breath.
"Never knew you could dance."
I inched my head to my right slightly, to see Mikhail. He was no where to be seen on the dance floor, surprisingly.
"It's not like you anything about me." I say, bending down a little, still trying to breathe properly.
"True say." He shrugs. "Wanna take a walk?"
A frown paints over my forehead, as I couldn't possibly understand why Mikhail of all people would offer to take a walk with me. Before I can reply, Saif arrives from behind him.
"Nila, come and hold son for a bit, me and your bhabi want to dance." Saif says.
"Wow, no please?" I say, offended at his lack of manners. " And why would I want to babysit? "
"Please, sis. Your bhabi really wants to dance." Saif begs.
I sigh and comply by heading towards the dance floor, in search for my nephew, whose father followed suit.
Before slipping past the curtains, I look back towards Mikhail.
He stands in his black suit and slicked back hair, looking quite undeniably handsome with the night light from the window shining behind him.
He shoots me quite an unexpected smile.
Could he be anymore odd?
