The tragedy

You were back in Birmingham, at your parents' house, surrounded by your family. It had been a warm, cheerful reunion, and now you were all sitting together in the living room, watching Harry Potter. The familiar soundtrack filled the room, and for the first time in a while, you felt at peace.

Suddenly, the screen flickered, and the TV automatically switched to a news channel.

Reporter: "Breaking news: Stray Kids member Felix Lee has been involved in a major car accident on XXX Avenue in London. Many fans have gathered at the crash site and outside the hospital to show their support, but authorities are advising everyone to stay home for their safety as well as the idols'. We currently have no updates on Felix's condition, but we will report as soon as more information becomes available."

The report ended, and the TV switched back to the movie, but the atmosphere in the room had shifted entirely.

Everyone turned to you. You were frozen in place, staring blankly at the screen, your chest rising and falling unevenly as you struggled to breathe.

Y/N's Mum: "Y/N... Are you okay?"

You forced out a shaky response, trying to sound composed: "Y-Yh... I'm fine."

Without waiting for a reply, you stood and hurried out of the room.

Your mum watched you leave, concern etched across her face. Letting out a deep sigh, she turned to the rest of the family.

Y/N's Mum: "I hope she's okay. She's really close to the members, especially Felix."

Y/N's Dad: "Yeah... she's had a crush on him for years."

In the bathroom, you splashed cold water on your face, desperately trying to calm yourself. You leaned over the sink, gripping its edges as your heart raced uncontrollably.

You looked up at your reflection, tears streaming down your cheeks.

Y/N: "Why didn't I tell him I loved him back... that day?"

Your voice cracked as you whispered to yourself. The memory of his confession haunted you, and the thought of losing him—of never getting the chance to make things right—was unbearable.

Y/N: "What if it's too late?"

The weight of your emotions overwhelmed you, and you sank to the floor, curling into a ball as sobs wracked your body.

Two months earlier in Seoul

It was the first concert of the tour, and the excitement backstage was electric. You were focused on your work, carefully applying Han's makeup as the clock ticked down to showtime.

???: "Hey, Y/N?"

You looked up and saw Felix standing in front of you. His radiant blue hair shimmered under the bright lights, making him look almost ethereal.

Y/N: "Yes?"

Felix: "I... I have something to tell you. After the concert, could we meet back here?"

His tone was serious, but his warm smile reassured you.

Y/N: "Of course."

Felix: "Alone, okay?"

Y/N: "Sure. Is something wrong?"

Felix: "No, nothing's wrong. I just... need to tell you something in private."

Before you could ask more, the manager's voice rang out.

Manager: "Okay, everyone, wrap it up! The boys need to be on stage in five!"

Felix glanced back toward the stage, his smile softening.

Felix: "Oh, I've got to go."

Y/N: "Good luck!" you said, hugging him quickly.

He returned the hug, his arms lingering for just a second longer than usual, and then he ran off toward the stage. His cute, hurried steps made you giggle, but you couldn't shake the feeling that whatever he wanted to tell you was important.
