Beep. Beep. Beep. That was all Roy could hear. He was stand next to Kaldur's bed in the med bay. The was an accident on a mission and now Kaldur is in a coma. They have been best friends ever since they were 12. Roy looks at Kaldur again and thinks he is falling in love with him. Who wouldn't want to date Kaldur, he thought. Kaldur is is nice, tall, handsome, a great guy. The perfect choice for a guy. He walks up to the bed and sits in the chair next to it. He grabs Kaldur's hand.

"Hey Kal. It's me, Roy. I don't know if this is even going to work, but Arthur said if you talk to people in comas it might bring them back. Kaldur you have to wake up. You can't leave the team like this. They would fall apart if you did. Whose gonna save my ass every one in a while. Kaldur I have to tell you the truth, since I know how much you hate it when people lie to you. I- I fell in love with you. I couldn't image my life with out you. I need you back Kal. I need you. Please Kaldur come back to Star with me. Wake up Kal. Please. I will never let anyone hurt you again. Please." He said trying so hard to hide his tears.

He placed a kiss on Kaldur's temple. It pained him to see the man he loves look so helpless. All he wanted to do was kiss the pain away, but knew he couldn't. All of a sudden the monitor goes crazy.

"Doctor! Get in here now!" Roy shout with tears in his eyes.

The doctors rushed in and got to work. Roy could hear people talking, people crying, and feel himself shake.

"Kaldur get up!" Wally screamed.

"Kaldur please I love you wake up." Roy shouted though his tears.

Beep. Beep. Beep. That's when Kaldur, the un breakable man, the man that Roy and the world could never live without, flatlined.

"No!" The team screamed.

"My son!" Arthur shouted.

Roy walked up to the bed and cried in my hand. He couldn't believe the one person who actually understood him is gone. He felt something grab my finger tip. He looks down to see Kaldur's hand trying to grab his hand.

"Kaldur." Roy whispered softly.

I saw his beautiful grey eyes opened and he smiled at me.

"Hello Roy." Kaldur said with a scratchy voice.

Roy almost jumped for joy. Roy squeezed his hand to let him know he was here.

"Hey Kal. You ok." Roy said while he wiped his tears.

"I am fine. A little hungry but fine. Wait! What about Annex!"

How is it that even when he almost died he worries about others. Roy thinks to himself.

"Sh. Sh. Calm down. He's fine. Focus on you right now."

"Alright. I heard what you said."

That's when his own heart stopped. Kaldur took Roy's hand and placed a kiss on top of it.

"I love you too Roy." Kaldur said with pure love in his eyes.

Roy couldn't contain himself anymore. Roy lean his head down and kissed him. His lips are so soft and warm. He heard Kaldur moan into his mouth. Roy finally came back to reality and realized they had eyes watching us. He let Kaldur go and stroked his cheek lovingly.

"Don't you ever scare me like that again." Roy said with tear fall from his cheek and land on Kaldur's.

"I can not promise that." Kaldur said as he leaned up slowly to kiss Roy's tear away.

"But I will try." Kaldur said kissing Roy's cheek again.

"You're a piece of work you know that right." Roy said kissing every visible part of Kaldur's face.

"So are you." Kaldur said letting his hand wander into Roy's.

"And don't you forget." Roy said as he lightly squeezed his hand.
