Sneak Peek
Here's a sneakpeek into some of my other stories:
Demons Pets
You have been doing your research, reading books, going to libraries, reading archives everything and anything you can do to learn about demons. Some people might call you obsessed and, maybe you were. Maybe you weren't. You found them interesting. They all looked like people- later on, you found out somewhere down the line they were humans who got turned- however, no one would believe that. You believed it though. You found out there are illegal fight rings, really bad people who perform experiments, use demons for their own sick sexual gratifications no matter the age, verbal abuse, beat them, bathe them outside, feed them rotten food, and keep them in wet dark places on cement. That was how most of them were treated. Fortunately, the lucky ones got saved, rehabilitated, and put into good, reputable homes. You were blessed to know that not all humans were evil.
"You're focusing on that demon stuff again, huh." You turned to Avery who was sitting across from you. They were doing homework for one of their professors. You did not miss being in college.
"Yeah, it's really intriguing to me you know this. They deserve to be treated normally. They're not even treated as pets some of the ones I read and see for myself. They're treated like the shit you stepped in." Avery was one of the few people you can confidently say is a friend and is not bad. They would willingly take on a demon if needed.
"I agree with your sentiment. I plan on adopting one or two, preferably siblings if possible once I graduate and I'm sort of situated." That was something they talked about often with you. When they were ready to adopt demons they always wanted siblings. Rare but, not impossible. People always like to split siblings or pit them against each other. It was horrible. However, they would treat them as a pet but, you felt they deserved to be treated as people. They don't eat humans this generation anymore. You care less what demons hundreds of years ago did. Why did the demons of today's age have to suffer the consequences?
"Shit I need to get back to work." You saw the time and realized your lunch break was over and, you needed to head back to the clinic asap. You were a medical assistant with a phlebotomist and EKG technician certificate. You worked at the clinic a block away and your lunch break was over two minutes ago. You waved to your friend and hurried back to work. You passed by a couple of people talking about a new demon they got
"I can't believe how easy it is to get one of those things. I'm going to keep this one in the basement locked up with the others." You tripped but, righted yourself turning to look the man in his face. Thank God for your photographic memory. You went back to work even though you were working on autopilot. That should be illegal right? For the rest of the day, you were thinking about what that man said. You had his face memorized. Why were they kept in cages? In basements? There were drugs to induce heat to make them more pliant and that disgusted you. Why was it so okay to treat them like shit? There had to be some laws.
"Focus Y/N." It was the evening and you were going home from work with a lot on your mind. Maybe you can adopt one? Volunteer at a rehabilitation center for them? You needed a way to help...Maybe you can help in other ways? They weren't exactly legal but, who cares? People always wanted money and, you were good at doing research. You had bought a co-op and were currently working on buying a building... Your co-op was four bedrooms- a settlement from a car accident came a long way- and three of the rooms were empty. "I can have 3 demons here..." The only issue is finding three compatible ones. That would be hard. You took a shower, heated up leftovers, and sat on your couch in front of the TV. You lived comfortably but, it was lonely. If you were being honest you always had the idea of having demons in the back of your mind. You were in your musings watching TV when your phone rang. It was your boss.
"Good evening Y/N. I'm sorry to have bothered you." You rolled your eyes but, it was whatever. You did like your job. "The clinic is going to be closed for about a couple of months- with pay weekly from the insurance company- due to renovations so I guess this is good news?" This was beyond unexpected but, you would gladly accept it. With pay? Hell yeah. Dream come true.
"This is okay ma'am! I'm glad that we will still be getting paid while they finish reservations. Thank you for informing me and, I will see you when it's time to go back!" You both shared a couple more sentences before hanging up. This was perfect. A little too perfect but, you weren't going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
You had told the couple of friends you had and, your family about being off with pay showing the email your boss sent as proof as well as the phone log and they were happy for you. Now you spent the next couple of days catching up on sleep, deep cleaning your home, self-care, and filling your two deep freezers full of meat as well as your fridge freezer...
"I'm obsessed." You were going to get a demon today. That's it. It was 9 in the morning and you'd been up the past hour relaxing. Impulsively you decided today is the day you were going to get a demon and put your knowledge to the test. Of course, you didn't know where to look. You were about to do something silly and look online. No way they would be on something like offer up and eBay right? That's just damn stupid. As you started looking putting in your zip code you were horrified at the sheer amount of demons being sold for dirt cheap. All under a hundred dollars and it made your stomach curl.

The Chosen One
You ended up really liking working at the Butterfly Estate. You always had something to do whether that was cleaning, gardening, writing, helping out with poisons and medicines as well as, helping with hurt demon slayers and the Hashira's. The Hashira's in the beginning strictly went to Kocho and, Aoi or the Kakushi who were quite rude but, easily scared. Eventually, they warmed up to you and, started going to you. The one who you were scared of the most was the Wind Hashira Shinazugawa. His brother was just as scary but, a bit more manageable as he flustered easily. One day Sanemi quite literally picked you up by your shirt and, carried you to one of the rooms he was staying in with his brother.
"Heal us. Now, Omega." You squinted at him, rolling your eyes before grabbing all the needed supplies to bandage the cuts. You looked and, of course, Sanemi was worse off than Genya so you worked on him.
"You know I have a name, Alpha." He made a noise before going still at how close you got to his neck. "You cut your neck so I'm doing that first." You carefully cleaned, put ointment, and bandaged him up from his neck to his feet, humming while unconsciously giving off a sweet calming scent. You never felt the need to cover up your scent since there was nothing to be ashamed about. "There you go all done." You moved over to Genya who was subconsciously leaning into you. You figured since he was taller than you, he was making it easier for you to reach.
"I-I cut my neck too." He was already flushed which was adorable. You checked and, indeed. He had a cut on his neck. You worked on that first still humming unaware of how relaxed he looked. He wasn't fussing or screaming as he used to in the beginning. Both of them were much calmer than they were in the beginning. You finished bandaging him making sure to rub his hands a bit. You did it to all of them including other demon slayers you healed. They used their hands and arms a lot so you would gently massage them to get the blood flow going.
"I think the two of you are good now." You stood up stretching a bit grabbing all your stuff to move on to the other patients. You stopped at the door remembering something. "Oh!" You reached into your personal bag taking out 2 ohagi's and a cup of watermelon. You handed the watermelon to Genya and the Ohagi to Sanemi. "I remember you guys told me that's your favorite so enjoy." You moved on your inner Omega pleased. You went to Shinobu to see what else she needed help with. The Kakushi and Aoi had all the other patients so that left you with something else to do. You found the Alpha Insect Pillar looking through a book with a frown. When she saw you, she didn't hide the frown which was appreciated. You had told her you found the mask unnecessary and, she didn't always have to keep a smile on her face.
"Just annoyed with this new medicine. What brings you here Y/N-Chan?" She raised a brow her smile going back on her face. It was nice while it lasted.
"I bandaged the Wind and Fang Hashira and, the rest of the helpers finished everyone else. I had cleaned for the day, I was wondering what would you like for me to do?" She tapped her chin ushering you forward. She handed you some books and writing supplies.
"Copy these new formulas and medicines into here please. Follow the index, page, and categories so you will know where they go." She pulled a chair for you to sit next to her as she worked on medicines and, you worked on what she told you. You loved how close the two of you sit now. Before you were in one corner, she was in another corner. Now the two of you were side by side. It was nice. You saw her as a friend. After a while you gave her the stuff and, she dismissed you to go have dinner. Smiling you left her quarters to go grab yourself a plate. You know technically someone can bring it to you but, you rather get it yourself. Once by the kitchen, you knocked three times signaling your entrance.
"Hi Aoi darling, how are you?" The girl fumbled to speak quickly. It was so fun to tease her. Watching her flounder angrily while red was a sight to behold. You came up to her hugging her lightly before pulling away not noticing how she leaned more into you now that you were next to her. Once she finished your plate you took it thanking her. Heading back to your room you passed by the Kakushi who you greeted as always not minding the lack of responses at times. They were busy, emotional, and finicky but, hard workers that took pride in their work.
"Aoi is really good at cooking." You were talking to the air as you enjoyed your dinner in peace. You will take a bath afterward and, relax the rest of the evening until you fell asleep.

One for All Or All For One
You worked hard to become a Hashira. Your breathing style was lava or magma. You stemmed it from sun and flame breathing. The fire seemed to hurt the demons the most so you wanted something that'll cause them pain. Call you sadistic but, you wanted a breathing style that would hurt and kill them. Not that you think other breathing styles work because they clearly do. It took you two months to become a Hashira just like the Stone Pillar and Mist Pillar. You wanted to learn what methods they all used to get so strong. You were already thinking of ways to fight them.
"Now remember what I said, my child. No fighting. I'm sure that you all get along swell." You were worried about one thing and one thing early.
"Do they know I'm an Alpha? I already know they'll make assumptions." He nodded his head and you hummed. You were used to the assumptions. Everywhere you went if it wasn't for your height or muscular build it was because you were an Alpha. As if being an Alpha can justify you being an asshole.
"We are here." You can smell them already and all of them smelled either angry, curious, neutral or other scents you didn't care to decipher at the moment. You were at the Demon Slayer headquarters. Kagaya disappeared and, you continued walking until all of them were in sight. Judging by the slightly surprised looks they had no idea you looked like this. They simply knew you were an Alpha. You felt the wind shift and, you moved to the left to avoid getting hit by the Wind Hashira. You're not even surprised he tried it.
"Ah, some big wanna be tough Alpha comes and thinks she's hot shit for dodging." You blinked confused. You have said nothing and all these assumptions were coming out of his ass. "Think you're going to tell us what to do huh? Think you can run shit cause you're an Alpha who became a Hashira in two months? I don't give a damn what Master says, I don't like you." As if you couldn't tell. You dodged a couple more of his attacks not moving much as he steadily ignored his other peers trying to get him to calm down.
"The girl hasn't even said a word! How do you even assume such things??" It was the Sound Hashira who said this. It was true. The love Hashira seemed worried-looking back and forth between everyone. Where was Kagaya?
"All Alpha's are the same. They think they're better. They think because they got blessed in the gene pool that makes them superior. I'll show her." He swung real fast, hard too, and instead of dodging it, you grabbed his sword stopping his attack. It was silent.
"You have every right to not like Alphas. Everything you said is true for most but, I am not one of them. It is wrong of you to assume. I'm not here to compete. We all made it to the top on our own merit." You set him down since he still had a grip on his sword and, you lifted him by his sword to eye level. He looked at you and before he can say anymore the Stone Pillar called him again and he sat back down. Now, they all were looking at you but, all eyes turned to the front when Ubuyashiki made an appearance. All kneeled except you which earned you glares.
"Have you no respect? You're that arrogant?." It was the wind pillar who said this and before you can move or say a word Kagaya interrupted.
"I told her to remain standing until properly introduced. Don't you think you did quite enough today Shinazugawa?" It was silent as you watched Shinazugawa's ears turn red as he stood quiet. "This is our new pillar please introduce yourself." You bowed to him turning to them with a smile this time.
"My name is Y/N L/N, I am the Lava pillar. I use lava breathing derived from sun breathing."

"It's Another Life"
Akaza sat up with a jolt before groaning. He had that same dream again! When he turned 18, he got flooded with memories of his past self. He was not proud of the monster he became because of grief. It wasn't right. He hurt and destroyed so many families for the sake of Muzan. Muzan is to blame for even turning him into a demon but, he killed of his own accord. He hated himself. Especially when he remembered what he did to his best friend Kyojuro. It killed him and that's how he found out everyone from that time period of demon slayers regained their memories. That was a couple of years ago and all was forgiven for the most part. They all got along quite well. There was just one person he had slight tension with and that was Tengen with his wives. The five of you were searching for the same person. Y/N. Their fourth wife who they didn't treat well until after she left them. Then they got her back. He wished she would have never gone back. He wanted to love her.
"Good morning Akaza!" He turned around in his bed grinning at his father who was waving his hand at him. He loved his father and he made a promise in this life he would do everything right and make his father proud. Thankfully, he wasn't as sick as he was in the past.
"Morning chichiue." He got up stretching to start his day. It was the weekend and that meant he had to go to band practice before going to perform tonight at the apollo. He already knew all of his friends were going to be there as they supported the entire band but, he really wanted to see Y/N. He would do anything just to see her one time. Would she even remember? Did she have the same dreams as everyone else? If she did would she just go straight to Tengen? Would she even remember the promise? Would she even remember him?
"Akaza, breakfast is ready!" Realizing how long he stood there just looking in the mirror he decided to just go and eat first before brushing his teeth and showering. He went straight downstairs enjoying the quiet. He was excited about seeing Hakuji and Koyuki. He had moved out and, both he and Koyuki lived together for a year. He was planning on proposing to her. "How have you been Akaza?" He was still at home for two reasons. He didn't want to leave his dad alone and, he was hoping he would find Y/N one day and they can...be friends. Be more than friends. Have a life together. He knew realistically he was getting ahead of himself but, he can dream.
"I'm okay chichiue. Just thinking about band practice and what not." He remembered how much he hated everyone and go figure in this life they were all close friends. Doma and Kokushibo had apologized to him for being annoying and harsh. All was forgiven because that was past them. The present them are totally different people. Muzan wasn't mean, he wasn't dictatorial and he hated that the whole group put him in charge. It felt wrong and it took a lot of convincing for him to actually go through it. He still has his moments where it bothers him but, it wasn't anything that they couldn't handle together. Doma and Nakime were on the electric guitar and bass guitar, Daki was on the keyboard, he was on drums, Gyutaro and Gyokko were the singers, and Hantegu and his four brothers along with Muzan were in charge of appointments, all the fancy business end.
"Well, what are you doing here? Go get ready and meet up with them! I will be fine by myself Kaza." His dad ruffled his hair and kissed his forehead, disappearing into the kitchen. Akaza did as told and got ready dressing the same way he always did. He was used to the looks, the stares, the whispers but, the way kids lit up at the sight of him and some people who were inspired is what helped him. He was happy and that's all that mattered.
"I'm leaving chichiue!" He was out the door after his father's farewell and made his way to the studio that Muzan owned. It was strange how they all met up and, he was 100 percent sure it was Muzan's hand at collecting them like chess pieces. Even though he did find it weird that they all were into heavy metal and rock. Life was weird but, he loved it. He loved life. Now if only he could get to you before Tengen does. He didn't like the way the man treated you. However, he may want the same woman back and be better than ever. Or not. He needs to stop thinking he was giving himself a headache. He drove so it was about 45 minutes away from the studio. He parked in his designated spot and went inside the building. Everyone knew him already since he was slowly becoming famous. All of them were.
"AKAZA-DONO!" He huffed at how excitable Doma was when he entered. Everyone was there already just hanging around. He watched with exasperation as Doma threw himself on him, squeezing the hell out of him. After a few head pats, he let him go.
"Whatever Doma." He greeted the others even though he didn't like Daki that much. His past self didn't like her and the current him didn't like her. He respected Gyutaro like they all did though plus she was really good at the electric keyboard.
"What got you so cranky, eh? Thinking about Y/N again?" He clenched his jaw and, his silence was an answer.
"Thinking about that girl again, eh? The fact that you hid her from us!" He gave Daki a look and she shrugged but, didn't say anything else. They all knew good and god damn well the consequences of harboring a human back then. He gathered the courage to tell them all in detail about her in this life.
"Better hope you can grab her before Tengen does." That's what both bothers and angers him. It was his turn to have her but, that was a tad possessive of him so he always stamped that urge down. Even though he definitely wanted the chance to make her the happiest he can in this life. He had made that promise as a demon so he wanted to keep it. Even though past him was Hakuji, in this life, he is just Akaza and he has a twin named Hakuji who has no idea who he, Akaza, was in the past life. Akaza plans to leave his brother oblivious unless absolutely necessary.
"Let's just focus on what we came here today, right?" He wanted to take his mind off of it before he broke a drum again. Even though he could afford it, it's still annoying to have to pay for such an expensive piece. Drum sets especially good ones were expensive. So that meant expensive replacement pieces.
"Roger that." He rolled his eyes fondly as they all set up their instruments just in time for Muzan and Hantegu to come in. Besides taking care of the paperwork Hantegu and his brother were the band-leader with Muzan being in charge of literally everything. It was business then and they spent the next two hours preparing beforehand and, they were given a break with liquids and food. They needed a break before actually performing. It would be embarrassing to faint on stage in front of a thousand or so people. Roughly. He remembers how they were all just playing for fun, now they are playing for money and to make their dreams come true.
"How are you doing Akaza?" It seemed even in this life he and Gyokko are still a favorite of Muzan's. At least that's a plus.
"I'm doing fine Muzan, how about yourself?" They all shared mild conversation as they prepped for their move to the apollo to perform. He felt those piercing red eyes on him again and he looked over to meet Muzan's eyes.
"You know that's not what I mean." He felt himself crumble just a little bit at that. He knew he was talking about Y/N and everyone there knew how hard Muzan tried to help him find her. At least he had some people rooting for him. What if she had a boyfriend? "Stop over-thinking. She will be there tonight at the Apollo."
