3rd person POV

Applejack and Sunset sit down in their seat while looking at the front of the room waiting for the teacher to arrive. After 2 minuets their teacher finally arrived, and started talking about a Science project due next week. After like 5 minuets of the teacher gambling on and on, Applejack felt a paper ball hit her in the back of the head. She looked back and was gonna call out the one who threw this paper ball at her, she looked around and she then sees Sunset waving her hand letting Applejack know that she was the one that threw the paper ball. Sunset started mouthing words open the ball was what she was saying, once Applejack knew what she was saying she agreed and opened the ball to read what it said.

" Are you excited for the dance?! :) "

Is what the note said. After Applejack read the note she looked back at Sunset and nodded her head with a slight smile. Sunset had a big smile, and thumbs up nodding her head back at Aj, Applejack just rolled her eyes at her idiotic friend.

Teacher: " Applejack! Are you paying attention to class or what? " Mrs.Z shouted at the cowgirl that was looking the opposite way.

Aj: " Y-yes, Ah am Mrs.Z, sorry about' that " Aj nervously chuckled scratching the back of her neck.

Mrs.Z: " okay. I'll let it slide this time, but pay attention 100% tomorrow Appejack, you're one of my best students. " Mrs.Z lectured Applejack, adjusting her glasses.

Applejack rolled her eyes once the teacher looked back at the board. She couldn't wait for next period because thats when she has Rainbow in her class. And today is the day that everyone has a partner, and of course Aj and Dash are gonna be partners. They're partners in every class they have together when they have the choice. Their classes together were Gym, Art, Health and French class.
Their next class would be art.

- after class -

Rainbow and Applejack have a place they always meet up at, so Applejack is waiting there for Dash so they could walk to art class together. After 10 minuets Aj finally seen the rainbow-haired girl walking to her but her eyes locked onto her phone. What's she doin' on her phone? Applejack thought to herself. Once Rainbow finally got to Aj she looked up off her phone to see her blonde-haired friend staring into her own eyes. Rainbow felt slightly awkward but aj, applejack felt nervous she didn't know why, she's never been nervous around Rainbow before.

Rd: " Okayyy.. shall we head to art class? " Rainbow broke the awkward silence between the two scratching the back of her head.

Aj: " oh.. uh. Yeah! Good thinkin' Rainbow. " Aj snapped out of her thoughts and stuttered a lot because she was nervous.

They both started walking side by side, and they were talking, laughing and much more. Applejack was laughing so much that she had tears in her eyes, then they settled down, they were still walking, but without Aj realizing it, she started getting closer to Dash. Suddenly their hands brushed against each other, and Applejack couldn't help but brush and quickly pull away causing Rainbow to look at her confused.

Rd: " Aj. Your face, it's red. Are you sick? " Rainbow asked acting stupid, she clearly knew Aj was blushing, and not sick.

Aj: " ehh.. no- Ah'm okay! Ah'm just fine, let's- let's just walk to class why don't we. " Aj nervously laughed.

Rd: " whatever. " she responded with no emotions what so ever, the only emotion she felt was annoyance and she was obviously pissed. She knew Aj was lying but she won't throw her under the spot, so Dash decided to let it go, the two made their way to class.

When they walked in Mrs.Cheerilee was looking angry. Neither of them knew why she looked so mad, and they were too scared to ask.

Mrs. C: " Girls, your 15 minuets late. Care to explain? " she asked them with an angry tone, both the two girls glanced at each other and chuckled nervously. Mrs.Cheerilee pointed her finger to the door to tell the girls to get out and wait in the hallway. Both the girls left the art room and stood in the hallway waiting for the teacher to come out and lecture them. Applejack was blushing over embarrassment, and Rainbow didn't really seem to care. Because well she's always getting into some kind of trouble.

Then Mrs.Cheerilee came out with a really angry face, that got Applejack even more scared. Still Dash didn't seem to care, Mrs.Cheerilee took a deep breath before speaking up " why is it, that you guys are always late. Everyday, your late. I keep on expecting something to change but it doesn't, so why is that? " she asked rather calmly.

Rainbow looked up at the 'calm' teacher. Rainbow knew the teacher was acting calm deep inside, she was more angry then a hornet when you come in its territory. Applejack then looked up at her as well with sorry in her eyes, the teacher stared into their eyes. " well? " she spoke again.

Rd: " Miss, I was in trouble in my recent class and I got talked to about it all. " Rainbow told the teacher a lie, truth is Dash was good in class.

MC: " that doesn't give Applejack a reason to be late, so Applejack. Why were you late. " The teacher rose her voice and gave Aj a scary stare.

Aj: " uh.. erm. Ah- " Aj had trouble trying to catch the right words. Rainbow could tell that Aj was scared and she didn't normally get into trouble herself, Rainbow knew what to do.

Rd: " Miss, I know you warned us both last week about being late. And I apologize for being late today, but I told Applejack to wait for me. I made her! Yeah, so in that case this is all my fault and don't get Aj into trouble please. " Rainbow Stuck up for her with a nervous smile. The teacher looked disappointed in Dash and looked over at Applejack, " Applejack you go back in class. Rainbow Dash you go to the office I've warned you too many times now. " The teacher spoke to the two teenagers. Applejack looked guilty while watching Rainbow sprint to the office.

Applejack walked into class less excited for it because all she felt was guilt for letting Rainbow take all the blame for them being late, because Applejack knew very well it was both of their faults not just Rainbows. After about 20 minuets later Rainbow walked in looking worried about something, when Rainbow sat down in her seat which is in front of Applejacks, applejack wrote a note and tossed it at Rainbow.

Rd: " Hey! Who threw this?! " she looked back giving everyone a devil stare which scared most of her classmates, because Rainbow Dash has bad reputation for hurting people. Applejack waved her hand letting Dash know she was the one who threw it, Rainbow nodded back and opened the letter and read it.

" Hey, just wanted to say thank you for doing that! You didn't have to, but thank you anyways Dash, any who what's wrong with ya? You look extremely worried or at least tired. "

Is what the words inside the note said. Rainbow looked back at Applejack then back at the paper and wrote back.

" no prob, and it's just they called my parents.. :/ "

Rainbow folded the note and tossed it to Aj, Rainbow chuckled when she watched the paper ball hit the cowgirl in the forehead. Applejack looked up at the athlete with a sad face and mouthed the words sorry for what they did. Rainbow shrugged trying to hide her scared feeling.
