YOU'RE GOING TO BE A HORRIBLE INFLUENCE ON HER, AREN'T YOU?

The two days it took for Bella to complete her transition were agonizing for Frankie, who did nothing but sit at her bedside along with Edward. Sure, sometimes she'd give her attention to Remesmee, but it was rare, and Rosalie and Jacob wouldn't let her hold the child — not that she blamed them.

Two days ago, she was dead set on killing her.

Of course, Frankie didn't want to kill Nessie now. Now that she saw that she was a semi-normal baby without a venomous bite and uncontrollable hunger. Though some things were still unsettling about her to the wolf, she knew she wasn't a threat.

So by some miracle, everything worked out okay. The baby was born and Bella was becoming a vampire like she'd always wanted. And as soon as Bella woke up, Edward took her hunting. Renesmee had human blood in her system, and even though the other vampires said it didn't smell appetizing, they all wanted to be careful.

When Bella returned from the hunt, hand in hand with Edward, she was surprised to see Frankie outside the house, leaning against the side of it. But before she could defensively question what she was doing there, Jacob rushed out with an easy smile on his face.

"You're still here," Bella said in surprise.

"So are you," he smirked. Then he looked over her tame appearance. She didn't seem like the feral newborns they'd fought at the start of the summer. "I didn't expect you to seem so you."

Bella smiled at that. For so long, Jacob had been so aggressively against her becoming a vampire. But now that the time had come, he seemed at peace.

"Except for the creepy eyes," Frankie chimed in, pushing off the side of the house to stand by Jacob.

"What are you doing here?" Bella asked tensely.

"Well, turns out you didn't give birth to the anti-Christ," she mumbled, rolling her eyes a little. "My mistake. But I just... I wanted to see that you were really all healed up. You looked fucking bad the last time I saw you."

"Didn't know you still cared," Bella hummed, hurt flashing across both girls' faces. But it was gone when Jacob stepped toward the newborn, who shook her head. "I would keep my distance for now."

"It's safer for the baby to see how you do with me first," he explained.

Bella narrowed her eyes at him. "Since when do you care about Renesmee?"

Jacob and Edward shared a knowing look, deciding now wasn't quite the right time to tell her about his Imprinting. And Frankie just grinned slyly, knowing that was going to be an interesting conversation — or rather, fight.

"All right. Take a whiff," Jacob ordered while holding his arms out.

Bella cautiously stepped closer and sniffed him, only to frown deeply. "Well, I can see what everyone's been talking about. Jake, you really do stink."

Frankie snickered along with the boys. "Notice she just said Jake."

Though things were different between Bella and Frankie at the moment, even Bella had to admit she liked Frankie's scent. It was warm and inviting, and she could swear it helped calm the raging and overwhelming newborn emotions inside of her.

With a smile, Bella leaned against her husband, and Jacob took in the sight without a hint of jealousy in his eyes. "You guys really look great together."

Edward then smiled down at Bella. "Want to come meet our daughter?"

As Bella nodded, Jacob ran ahead of them, wanting to be there for it. Then when she and Edward passed, Frankie lightly touched Bella's freezing-cold arm. "I understand if you don't want me in there."

A guarded, protective look flashed in Bella's eyes, remembering the last time they spoke. "Don't get close to her."

Accepting what she could get, Frankie followed them into the house, careful to keep her distance from Bella, which pulled at her heartstrings. Once in the living room, she instantly moved to Emmett's side, who wrapped her up in his strong arms and kissed the top of her head, having heard what Bella said.

All of them turned to face Bella, taking in her newborn state. Jacob had already made his way to Rosalie and Nessie.

"Welcome to the family," Esme greeted.

"You look amazing, Bella," Alice told her excitedly. She was pleased Bella didn't make a complete mess while hunting for the first time.

Then Carlisle spoke up, nodding toward Rosalie. "Someone's been waiting to meet you," he said with a smile.

"Rose," Edward said, giving her the go-ahead.

She turned around, revealing Renesmee to her mother, who was looking much better than the first time they met. Bella finally looked at her daughter, finally feeling complete for the first time in her life, realizing she had everything she could ever want as Rosalie handed her off.

Then Renesmee brought her small hand to her face, showing her something with her gift. Frankie smiled bitterly — she was the only one that Nessie hadn't shown anything to. No one would let her close enough for them to touch, which she understood. Maybe things would be better between them all now that things had settled down.

"What was that?" Bella asked, a little dazed.

Seeing it in his daughter's thoughts, Edward informed her, "She showed you the first memory she has of you."

"Showed me? How?"

"How do I hear thoughts? How does Alice see the future? She's gifted."

Bella nodded and then watched as her daughter smiled, revealing a mouth full of teeth. Admittedly, Bella didn't know much about babies, but she knew they didn't have all their teeth. She marveled at her daughter, noticing what they all had — she was immensely older than two days old.

"I've only been out for two days?" she asked skeptically.

"Her growth rate is unprecedented," Carlisle informed her, trying to hide the concern on his face. They didn't want to ruin Bella's first time meeting Nessie with concerns about her aging.

"All right," Jacob then said, stepping toward the newborn. "That's enough experimenting for one day."

"Jacob," Edward said sharply as Bella took a step back. "She's doing great."

"Yeah. Let's not push it though," he said, trying to get Renesmee away from her mother.

"Dude," Frankie objected, shaking her head. Yes, she understood that Nessie was his Imprint, but Bella wasn't going to hurt her. "Leave her alone."

"What's your problem?" Bella asked, refusing to let him near Nessie.

Rosalie smirked, having been waiting two days for this confrontation. "Oh. Do tell her, Jacob."

"This should be good," Emmett said, tightening his hold around Frankie.

"Hold on a second," Edward said while taking Nessie out of Bella's arms. And Rosalie soon came over to take her from Edward.

"Bella," Jacob said cautiously. "Look, it's a wolf thing."

Already, she was getting an idea of what he meant as she glanced at the other Imprinted pair in the room. "What's a wolf thing?" she asked aggressively.

"Um, you know we have no control over it. We can't choose who it happens with. And it doesn't mean what you think, Bella. I promise."

"Take Renesmee out of the room," Bella ordered. Immediately, Rosalie went into the kitchen. Then Edward gently put his hand on Bella's shoulder to try and calm her down, only for her to shrug him off. "Edward, don't touch me right now. I don't want to hurt you."

Jacob let out a nervous groan before Bella grabbed ahold of the back of his neck. She walked him from the living room and out of the house completely. It was a good thing the doors to the backyard were open or the glass would've shattered. She threw him to the dirt, and he quickly got back on his feet as the rest of the family filed out of the house.

"You imprinted on my daughter?" she accused.

"It wasn't my choice!"

"She's a baby!" she shouted, growing more angry by the second.

"It's not like that. You think Edward would let me live if it was?" Jacob asked, pointing to her husband.

"I'm still debating it," Edward admitted, leaning against the railing of the back porch.

"I've held her once! One time, Jacob! And already you think that you have some moronic wolfy claim on her?" Bella asked, glaring daggers at him. "She's mine!"

"Yeah," Frankie whispered to Emmett while Bella was busy punching Jacob. "I've got a wolfy claim on you."

Emmett just smirked down at her as Seth and Leah finally arrived on the scene in their wolf forms. Leah growled protectively over her alpha being hurt, but Jacob waved her off, knowing she couldn't go against Bella.

"It's fine, Leah," Jacob said, getting to his feet again.

"You're gonna stay away from her," Bella ordered.

"You know I can't do that," he told her.

In response, she just hit him again. Esme was the only one to cringe from the violence. Jasper, Emmett, and Frankie all had wide grins on their faces, finding it all quite amusing.

"Stop her, Edward," Esme told him with a frown. She'd grown attached to all the wolves since they started hanging around and didn't want to see them harmed.

"He said it's fine," he replied, grinning at his mate. "She's amazing, right?"

"Do you remember how much you wanted to be around me three days ago? That's gone now, right?" Jacob asked.

"Long gone."

"Because it was her. From the beginning, it was Nessie who wanted me there."

Frankie sighed, knowing Bella well enough to know she wouldn't like it. Admittedly, Frankie wasn't exactly referring to Renesmee by her legal name either, but that was something she was going to ease Bella into once she knew they were on good terms again.

"Nessie?" Bella shouted, her eyes wide with fury. "You nicknamed my daughter after the Loch Ness Monster?"

Though it was very serious, Frankie still snickered at the sheer anger in Bella's voice. But then she lunged toward Jacob angrily, and Seth moved to protect him. Without even thinking of her strength, she pushed Seth aside easily, sending him crashing into a tree before falling to the ground in pain.

Frankie was there in a second, all amusement gone as she looked over Seth's body, who was whimpering in pain. A low growl left Frankie's throat as Bella stepped toward him, but she stopped in place as soon as she saw Frankie's red, glowing eyes.

Now that she was a vampire, she could feel the power emanating from her oldest friend. It was intimidating and made her feel weaker suddenly.

"Seth, I'm sorry," Bella said, guilt washing over her. "Frank, I didn't mean to."

She was still glaring, but then Seth nuzzled his head against her leg, letting her know his accelerated healing was already kicking in. So she sighed and relaxed a little bit, keeping her hands in Seth's fur, knowing physical contact would help since she was his Imprint.

Jacob turned back to Bella then. "Bella, you know me better than anyone. All I want is for Ness..." He trailed off, seeing the fury in her eyes at the nickname. "—Renesmee to be safe. Happy. Look, nothing ever made sense before. You. Me. Any of it. And now I understand why. This was the reason."

☽︎

"I didn't mean to hurt him," Bella told Frankie. They were in the living room, and Renesmee was tucked safely away in Bella's arms while Edward sat next to them. Emmett was beside Frankie on the couch, both watching football as Seth slept next to them. Jacob was out too while Leah was up in Rosalie's room with her.

"I know," Frankie said softly. "I'm not mad at you."

"I guess it makes sense why you don't want to hurt her anymore, now," Bella then said, holding Renesmee a little tighter.

"I don't want to hurt her because you're okay," Frankie admitted, her eyes watering. "But I thought you were dead, Bella. I think you've underestimated how important you are in all of our lives. But I was wrong about Ra - Renesmee," she said, nearly slipping up. Edward hid his snicker, knowing what she was going to call her. "I'm glad I was wrong, and I'm glad that you all get to be together."

Bella was silent for a moment before nodding. "I missed you," she mumbled, tears welling in her eyes that couldn't fall anymore. "So much."

"Well, I'm here now."

She smiled and got off the couch, coming closer. "Do you wanna hold her?"

"Oh, I'm good," she said, leaning back into Emmett's chest. "I've never actually held a baby, and I don't think I should break that streak."

Bella laughed and shook her head. "I'd never held one either. I think we can learn together."

Frankie was nervous as the child was passed to her. Renesmee looked up at her with big eyes that made her uneasy because she was clearly more aware of her surroundings than other babies. Then she brought her tiny hand up, and Frankie met her halfway, letting her lightly smack her forehead to show her a memory.

Nessie was looking up at Frankie in her crib, trying to thrash her arms that were tightly swaddled in a blanket. This was the first time she was seeing the wolf, and both Jacob and Rosalie were standing next to her like tense guards.

"Hi, there, Baby Rigatoni," Frankie cooed, making Nessie laugh while Rosalie rolled her eyes.

"That's not her name," Rose told her.

"Right, nice to meet you, Ratatouille."

"Frankie," Jacob groaned, trying to hide his smile.

"Shut up! You nicknamed her after a cryptid."

Frankie was grinning when Nessie brought her hand back, a smile on her little face as well, clearly finding the nicknames amusing and letting her know to keep them up. "You're pretty alright, Rasputin."

Renesmee giggled as Bella narrowed her eyes. "What did you just call her?"

"Oh, that's one of my nicknames for Renegade," Frankie said, making Emmett laugh. "Better than a sea beast, in my opinion."

Bella looked at her best friend, more fed up than annoyed. "You're going to be a horrible influence on her, aren't you?"

☽︎

"I want it pointed out that you thought I was silly for making you use condoms," Frankie said to Emmett, a smile on her face.

"Because there's no such thing as vampire STDs," he laughed.

"You don't know! Evidently, there are vampire babies."

The pair were finally alone after nearly a month apart, the trailer empty as Raylan stayed the night with Charlie most nights. Their limbs were tangled up as they lay underneath the covers of Frankie's bed, her catching her breath from their heated activities that they planned to continue once she was done.

"So, no vampire-werewolf hybrid babies for you?" Emmett found himself asking softly, sounding a little nervous. He'd always wanted children but accepted that it wasn't a possibility for him now.

Frankie frowned and looked up at his perfect face. "I don't know what's going to happen in the future, Em. But we have a very long future ahead of us. So, I'm not saying it's completely off the table, but not anytime soon, okay? I mean, I just graduated. Bella almost died. I think I'd like some peace for once, and a demon spawn made of you and me will be anything but calm."

Emmett beamed as she let him know starting a family one day was a possibility. He leaned down and kissed her firmly, pulling her close until her bare chest was pressed to his.

"I love you so goddamn much, Roman," he murmured, bitting her bottom lip.

"I love you too, Cullen."

☽︎

The following day, Frankie and Jacob were watching through the window as Rosalie and Leah played with Renesmee outside while eating some breakfast sandwiches Esme made for them. The two girls looked happy, Leah holding Nessie while Rosalie kissed her little fingertips, making the baby laugh and try to grab her.

"They look happy," Frankie said, knowing how much they deserved happiness after the hardships they'd been through.

"They do," Jacob said, grinning.

Then they all heard as Bella and Edward entered the house. Everyone looked at them, surprised they'd come back so early after Alice gifted them a whole house that was far enough away no one could hear them. But then again, they had a child to tend to now.

Emmett smirked at the couple, not expecting to see them so soon. "Wow. Done already?" Frankie snickered and reached to thump the back of his head.

Ignoring his teasing, Bella just looked around eagerly. "Where's Renesmee?"

"Blondie and Leah stole her," Jacob said, watching them out of the window with a smile. It made him happy seeing his Beta so happy.

Then Emmett caught Bella's eye again and raised a mocking eyebrow. "Break a lot of stuff?" he asked, recalling how they'd broken Frankie's bed on more than one occasion.

"Emmett. No," she said in a hard tone, making him laugh loudly. Then the house phone rang loudly, and all of them stiffened. From their expressions, it wasn't hard for Bella to guess who was calling — who had been calling. "Is that Charlie?"

"He's been calling twice a day," Edward explained.

"He's in pretty rough shape," Jacob muttered.

"Dad's been trying to keep him calm," Frankie added. "It's not working."

"Eventually, we'll have to tell him you didn't make it," Carlisle spoke up.

"He needs to mourn, Bella," Edward said, hinting that it needed to be soon.

"Okay," Bella nodded, clearly distraught. "We'll do it tomorrow."

Emmett sighed heavily and got up. "I'm gonna miss you guys."

Carlisle sighed, not thrilled about leaving either. "We'll come back. We always do. You and Frankie will be able to follow after us one day."

"Wait," Jacob said, standing a little straighter. "Nobody said anything about leaving."

"Once people believe Bella's dead, we can't risk anyone seeing her," Carlisle explained.

"But why's it sound like Emmett's staying behind?" Jacob asked almost accusingly.

"Because he is," Frankie told him. "Jake, you know I'm bound to the land until it's safe. But eventually, I'll be free to go until it's time to come back."

There had always been like a rubberband inside of Frankie, keeping her tied to the reservation. And anytime she left, the rubberband was stretched. Old Quil had journals of past Mekko wolves that explained eventually, she'd be able to travel no further. However, once the land was safe, that feeling keeping her trapped would disappear and she'd be free to travel.

But she'd feel it immediately and have to return if the territory was put back in danger.

It had already been agreed upon that Emmett would stay behind with Frankie. He couldn't imagine leaving her behind again.

"So you just disappear?" Jacob asked Bella angrily.

"Jacob, we don't have another choice," Edward said, which wasn't good enough. Before he lost control, Jacob stormed angrily from the house.

"Just let him go," Frankie sighed. "He needs to blow off steam."

☽︎

Jacob didn't fucking blow off steam. No, he blew everything up by turning into a fucking wolf in front of Charlie while he and Raylan were chopping wood. It scared the ever-loving shit out of the human, who also realized Raylan knew based on his lack of reaction, which pissed him off to no end.

And now, Charlie was on his way over, and Bella was scrambling to learn how to be human, which wasn't going well. And if Bella attacked Charlie, everything would be ruined and Bella would hate herself, but Jacob hadn't considered that. He just selfishly wanted to stay in Forks.

The most noticeable thing about Bella were her red eyes, so Alice slipped some brown contact over them. "These will irritate your eyes at first."

"The main thing is not to move too fast," Carlisle added.

"Try taking a seat. Crossing your legs," Esme suggested. Bella nodded and moved to take a seat, moving so fast that she slammed into the chair, knocking it back into a wall. Frankie snickered, earning an elbow from Edward. "Maybe a tad slower. Hmm."

Carlisle pinched his fingers together and nodded along with his mate, and Frankie couldn't bother to hide a real laugh then. This was going horribly.

"And blink at least three times a minute," Alice added. Bella began blinking repeatedly, far too many times as she got used to it. Alice just smiled nervously, knowing it certainly wasn't great. "Good."

"For a cartoon character," Jacob muttered, making Frankie laugh again.

"Hold your breath, though," Frankie told her. "If you eat our dads, I'll never let you live it down."

"But you have to move your shoulders so it looks like you're breathing."

"And don't sit so straight," Rosalie told her while Bella was softly moving her shoulders. "Humans don't do that."

Bella was clearly overwhelmed as she practiced it all before nodding unconfidently while standing up. "Okay. I got it. Move around, blink, slouch."

They all heard the sound of Charlie's tires crunching against the gravel as he parked outside. Carlisle was the one to go greet him as the others made themselves scarce. Frankie moved to stand next to Jacob at the stairs.

Soon, Carlisle returned with the two men, leading them to the living room, where Bella and Edward were sitting on the couch.

"Bella?" Charlie asked hesitantly, studying her seemingly flawless features. She looked okay but she also didn't look like Bella, not to him at least.

"Hi, Dad," she greeted quietly, holding her arm tightly to try and keep from lunging at him.

"Are you okay?"

"Never better. Healthy as a horse," she insisted.

Charlie nodded and then glanced at Jacob nervously. "You don't... turn into an animal, too, do you?"

Jacob laughed and threw his arm around Charlie's shoulder, who flinched a little bit. "She wishes she was that awesome."

"I do, though," Frankie spoke up, raising her hand. Charlie looked at her with wide, disbelieving eyes.

"She gets twice as big as Jake, too," Raylan added, deciding to get it all out in the open.

"Oh, god," Charlie groaned, already picturing it.

"Let's give them some privacy," Edward said, sensing that it was still a bit too much for Charlie.

Frankie and Jacob smiled easily at Charlie before following Edward and Carlisle from the room. Raylan squeezed Charlie's shoulder comfortingly before going as well, leaving him alone with his daughter.

Once they were in the kitchen, where Rosalie and Leah were feeding Renesmee, Raylan smacked Jacob on the back of his head.

"Hey!" he whined.

"You goddamn fucking dumbass," Raylan said, his Texan accent coming out with his anger. "I ought to ring your neck. Charlie's a mess!"

"Well, I think he'd be more of a mess at his daughter's fake funeral," Jacob hissed. "Why can't everyone see I did a good thing."

"You did a dumbass thing," Frankie said, backing her father up. "You're just lucky it hasn't ended with bloodshed."

Jacob rolled her eyes at her dramatics. "It's not gonna end in bloodshed."

"Says you."

A whole hour passed before Charlie felt comfortable enough to leave the house, having held Renesmee and spent time with Bella, seeing that she was alive — well, not alive, but still. While he was there, everyone was on edge, waiting for him to be attacked by Bella. But she surprised them all by remaining in control of her hunger. Frankie was actually kind of proud of her for not acting like a crazed newborn around their fathers.

By the time Charlie and Raylan were driving off, it seemed like things were really looking up for the entire coven. Now that Charlie was partially in the know without really knowing, it was safe to remain in Forks for a few more years. And that meant Emmett could have more time with his family before they were separated.

"Well done, Bella. Never seen a newborn show that kind of restraint," Jasper complimented. And he'd trained a lot of newborns in his time, all more violent than the next. Her control was almost unheard of.

"I'm not sure she is a newborn," Emmett said with a smirk, leaning against Frankie from behind. "She's so tame."

"Don't, babe," Frankie said, shaking her head in amusement. "I think she'll kick your ass. She's the strongest in the house."

"Please," Emmett scoffed, refusing to believe something so ridiculous.

"Wanna bet?" she asked, raising an eyebrow, ready to prove her mate wrong.

Emmett just had to show off as he removed his jacket and then found a large boulder in the backyard, moving it effortlessly to use it like a table between him and Bella. Frankie drank in the sight of his biceps happily while sliding her arms into his hoodie even though she wasn't cold. His was so big and strong and she just wanted to sink her teeth into him—

"Ew, Frankie," Edward sighed, hating how her thoughts trailed off to her plans to get Emmett alone after this.

"Don't like it, don't look," she said, tapping her forehead.

The coven ended up splitting between sides, standing behind whoever they were supporting. Admittedly, only Rosalie was on Emmett's side.

"Babe?" he asked Frankie in disbelief when she stood by Carlisle and Esme.

She just shook her head. "She's gonna kick your ass just like I can."

"Don't hurt yourself, Emmett," Edward teased as his mate and Emmett then got into position.

"All right, on three," Jasper told them, getting ready to build suspense. "One... two... three!"

As Emmett began forcing Bella's hand back inch by inch, Frankie started cheering for Bella, telling her to fight back harder. But evidently, Bella hadn't actually started trying yet. With a smirk, she began participating in the arm wrestling match, and the confident look on Emmett's face morphed into a worried frown when his arm started slipping, getting closer and closer to the rock.

With one final push, Bella slammed his hand into the boulder, crushing it. He groaned as she laughed in disbelief while Frankie began whistling.

"Suck it, babe!"

"Did you see that?" Bella asked Edward excitedly before punching the rock, making it crumble again. She laughed in delight, unable to believe how strong she was after years of being a weak, clumsy, and fragile human. It felt freeing knowing that she didn't have to rely on others to protect her anymore.

Seeing that he was pouting, Frankie made her way over to her boyfriend. He wouldn't look up from the ground as she wrapped her arms around his thick waist, hugging him from the side. "Babe," she cooed. "You're still stupid strong, you know that. Give it a year and we can do a rematch."

"You didn't root for me," he mumbled, rolling his eyes childishly. "You cheered for stupid Bella and her stupid newborn strength. It's not even real strength."

She bit back a smile and kissed his exposed muscles comfortingly. "Wanna go show me how far you can throw rocks off the mountains? Would that make you feel better?"

"So much better."

Mike thought he was about to shit himself as Frankie and Jessica finally filled him in on everything that'd happened over the last few weeks. Jessica came home nearly every weekend from Standford to see Paul, or he'd make the trip to her. But for once, he wasn't monopolizing her.

Jessica was the one who got to explain what being Imprinted on meant. But then Frankie had the real fun with telling both of them about Bella's miracle hybrid baby.

"I told you she was getting married because she was pregnant," Jessica said, crossing her arms.

Frankie just giggled and shook her head. "You know she wasn't pregnant at the wedding," she told her. "But yeah, Nessie is weird."

"Babies aren't weird, they are precious gifts," Jessica insisted.

"She has teeth, Jess," she said, shivering a little. "And when she wants Jacob's attention, she bites him. He thinks it's cute, I guess."

"So, she's a biter. You were a kicker," Mike said, finding that to be the least weird thing about the whole situation. "But like, she was only pregnant for a month? And you were gonna kill her baby because you thought it was a vampire demon?"

"I was justified in thinking it was a vampire demon," Frankie said, putting her hands up in defense. "But yeah, that's about all I've been keeping from you. Figured it wasn't safe until we knew for a fact Recession wasn't a danger to you."

"Damn," Mike muttered, shaking his head. "You've gotta get me a picture for the board."

The clue board had just become 'the board' as Mike learned all the supernatural secrets. He still kept things connected by red string and sticky notes just so he could keep up with all the confusing information. And a vampire-human-hybrid baby that was born after one month was certainly interesting enough to make it on the board.

Frankie pulled out her wallet, already prepared. In the photo, you could see her finger pushing Nessie's bottom lip down so that they could see her mouth full of teeth.

"Oh, that is so their kid," Jessica cooed, thinking she was precious despite the oddities. "She has Bella's eyes."

"Well, not anymore," Mike noted since she was a vampire. Then he snatched the picture from her and walked it over to his corkboard, pinning it in between Bella and Edward's pictures. With a blue sharpie, he wrote "Reneas — Rnais — Nessie."

The girls giggled when he failed to spell her full name.

"Who names their kid that?" Jessica asked, leaning back on her hands. "It's horrible."

Frankie nodded in agreement. "I'm not convinced that Bella didn't lose brain cells while pregnant with her."
