"When I said home, I meant my home. Not your home." Taehyung said as Jeongguk removed the keys from the ignition of the gray beetle. After a drive consisting of a dozing Taehyung being woken up by Jeongguk's harsh braking and spastic taps on the shoulder, he was not in a good mood. Jeongguk smiled feebly, scrambling for an explanation.

"Well, I don't know where you live, and you're not in the right state of mind to give directions. We could have ended up back in Busan if I let you." He said softly, cracking a hopeful smile at the grumpy boy.

"We would not have. I'm concussed, not freaking stupid, you moron." Taehyung scolded him, and Jeongguk chuckled to himself, stepping out of the car and walking around to Taehyung's side. Truthfully, Jeongguk had one sole reason for bringing Taehyung back to the house: he wanted his new home and his old home to merge. He wanted to feel that feeling of safety and peace that he felt talking about the past with Taehyung all the time. It was too tempting to resist. The door swung open before Jeongguk had a chance to open it, and he raised his eyebrows as Taehyung stumbled out of his car. He stepped forward to help him stay standing, but he pushed him off. "No moves from you, Jeon. Hands to yourself." He slurred, making his way in the opposite direction.

"Uh huh, whatever you say. Except you're going the wrong way." Jeongguk pointed out. Taehyung skidded to a stop and whirled around, a tornado of unbalance and messy blonde hair. "House's this way." Taehyung tried to ignore Jeongguk's smug smile as he began moving back in the direction Jeongguk was indicating, but his unsure feet betrayed him as he tripped—

Right into Jeongguk's chest.

His large hands latched onto Jeongguk's black bomber jacket for support as his head spun, and Jeongguk steadied him with his hands on his lower back, letting out a hum of surprise. When Taehyung's world slowly blurred back into focus and the pounding of his head lessened to a dull ache, he opened his eyes—and came face to face with Jeon Jeongguk. Taehyung's mouth went dry at the boy's handsome face so close to him. His dark eyes burned into his own so intensely Taehyung thought his stare would be tattooed onto the backs of his own eyelids. The black mask had slipped down around his neck, revealing his sharp jaw and plump, kissable lips. This close, Taehyung could see the discreet freckle tucked underneath his lower lip. Taehyung's foggy mind was too jumbled to have any common sense, so he impulsively did the first thing that came to mind.

He reached up and touched it.

Jeongguk was surprised, Taehyung could see it on his face as his thumb clumsily brushed over his full bottom lip and came to rest on the small freckle. Jeongguk's tongue peeked out to wet his lips as his body relaxed under the blonde's touch. Suddenly, Taehyung's hand was fully grasping his chin, pulling him down closer to him. Their eyes fluttered shut as Jeongguk's hands became more languid on his waist and lower back, and finally their lips touched, ever so careful and cautiously, much softer and slower than the rigorous pace of a few hours before. They stilled for a second, savoring the sweet, featherlight pressure of their lips pressed together gently—

"Yah, Jeon Jungkook!"

Jeongguk gasped, knocking noses with Taehyung as he sprung back. He swayed slightly on his feet at the sudden loss of a crutch, and Jeongguk quickly rushed forward to steady him once more, mumbling an apology. Standing on the front steps of the dorm in the cool night air was none other than Kim Seokjin, Jeongguk's business partner. One look at his face, and Jeongguk knew he was not pleased.

"Hey, Seokjin hyung." Jeongguk said meekly, slowly leading the even more dazed Taehyung towards the front door. Seokjin looked appalled. He had self-appointed himself Jeongguk's babysitter, and would occasionally stop by Jeongguk's house to check up on him. Jeongguk didn't realize tonight would be one of those nights.

"Hey, Seokjin hyung?" He mocked, completely disregarding the stumbling boy at Jeongguk's side. "Seriously? That's all you're gonna say? Are you aware of what time it is? Coming home at this ungodly hour of night is bad enough, but with a business meeting tomorrow with foreign partners? And with a boy, who looks to be completely and utterly shitfaced, no less? Have you no shame?" Seokjin shouted, going into maternal mode. Jeongguk sighed.

"Concussed, not shitfaced. Will you help me get him inside?" He asked, struggling to help Taehyung's trudging feet up the steps. Seokjin, calming down from his aggressive scolding, finally noticed how out of it the blonde looked, and came to his senses. He rushed down the steps and linked his arm underneath Taehyung's shoulder. When Jeongguk sent him a look of gratitude, Seokjin only mouthed, This conversation is NOT over.

The two men carefully carried Taehyung to Jeongguk's bed and laid him down softly. Jeongguk thanked the Lord that he had bothered to pick up his dirty clothes off the floor, or Seokjin probably would have scolded him for that, too. As the older man stepped back, Jeongguk stayed bent over the bed. Remembering that Taehyung hated sleeping in socks from when they were younger, he removed his socks and shoes gently. Pausing when he saw them, Jeongguk noticed small tattoos of wings on the back of each of Taehyung's ankles. Smiling to himself at how the ink fit Taehyung so perfectly, he carefully maneuvered Taehyung's half-conscious form underneath the sheets and the comforter. He gingerly arranged the pillows beneath his head before stepping back to doublecheck that he was comfortable.

When he turned around, he was met with a gaping Seokjin. "Kitchen. Now." He whispered, and Jeongguk gulped as he followed his eldest brother into the kitchen. He knocked on the doors of rooms being occupied by Jeongguk's many best friends as they passed in the hallway, waking the sleeping boys one by one. When a total of six boys were in the kitchen, somewhat groggy and highly annoyed, Seokjin began. "I bet you're wondering why I gathered you all here today." He said solemnly. The kitchen erupted into a roar of objections at the eldest man's theatrics.

"You woke me up for this?"

"Get to the point!"

"Ooh, are you the officiant for you and Namjoon hyung's wedding? I love midnight marriages. So underdone and so romantic—"

"Shut up, Jimin—"

"Hey!" Jeongguk spoke up, silencing his hyungs. "Be quiet. Taehyung's sleeping." He said in a hushed voice. He earned confused looks from five of the members.

"Who's sleeping?" Hoseok asked curiously, his newly dyed black hair a frizzy mess on his head as he rubbed his eyes.

"Not us, that's for damn sure." Yoongi grumbled sourly. Jeongguk was less intimidated by his demeanor considering the fact that he was currently wrapped up in his black comforter like a burrito.

"Taehyung. The guy Jeongguk brought home." Jin explained. Collective sounds of surprise and disapproval arose. Groaning, Jeongguk ran a hand through his hair.

"Oo, Kookie's got some 'splainin' to do." Namjoon sang, newly energetic at the thought that his best friend finally found a guy. As far as Jeongguk knew, his friends had no previous knowledge of his bisexuality, considering he really hadn't, either, but he figured they either didn't care or were too tired to bother inquiring.

"It's not what you think. Well, kind of. He's my childhood best friend, we were next door neighbors. I went out to get some coffee, and I saw him for the first time in years. Wealmostfuckedinthebathroom, and then—" Jeongguk said, rushing through the most shameful part in the night's chain of events. That didn't fly with the boys.

"Sorry, what was that last part?" Namjoon asked, suddenly more awake than before.

"Uh, wealmostfuckedinthebathroom, um, anyways—"

"You almost did what?" Jimin asked in disbelief. "I heard that you almost fucked in a bathroom, but that can't be right." He said. This was followed up by silence from all, including Jeongguk. Then, shit hit the fan.

"Oh my God. Ohmygod, you didn't." Namjoon said.

"hA, that's hilarious." Jimin laughed.

"Hey, atta boy Gukkie. Get some!" Hoseok said.

"You're actually so dumb. Incredibly dense. Honestly, what have we raised?" Seokjin said.

"That's fucking nasty. I mean, really, do you know what kind of diseases you can get from doing that?" Yoongi pointed out, scooting away from Jungkook.

"Alright, alright. That's enough, hyungs. It was dumb. Got it. Won't happen again. Say no more." Jeongguk said, dragging his hands over his face.

"Wait, so, how did he end up with a concussion?" Seokjin asked, pinching the bridge of his nose and looking up at the ceiling in exasperation. Jeongguk was hoping they wouldn't ask.

"Well, we were moving to the counter—"

"Skip the dirty shit, please. No, literally, the dirty shit. That counter probably gave him or you or both fucking chlamydia." Yoongi blurted, earning a laughs from Jimin and Hoseok.

"There was a—an interfering paper towel dispenser." He said, embarrassment at its peak as his friends collectively cringed.

"Wow. Smooth, Jeongguk." Namjoon whistled lowly.

"That's what he gets for fucking around in a public bathroom." Jimin snickered. Jeongguk sighed.

"Long story short, I brought him here because I didn't know where else to take him. No paparazzos or anyone saw me, the only person besides you who knows is the doctor, and he was way too old to keep up with anything tech related. Don't worry. I'll take him to pick up the prescription for his medicine tomorrow, and then we'll act like nothing ever happened. Okay?" Jeongguk suggested. Really, he wasn't okay with that. He didn't want to forget this night, as much of a shit show as it was. Reuniting with Taehyung was worth all of that. Taehyung. At the thought of him, Jeongguk checked the time, seeing 28 minutes had passed. "Shit. I have to go wake him up, he can't sleep for longer than a half hour at a time—" Jeongguk said, sprinting down the hallway.

The remaining men looked at each other in suspicion.

"There is no way he would do all that for a casual fuck. Even if he was his best friend." Namjoon blurted.

"Word." Hoseok agreed with the others.

"You should have seen him! He brought him inside and tucked him in! Acted all cute and caring and whatnot, the little shithead." Seokjin recounted.

"Hm. Interesting." Jimin said.

"Not enough for me. I'm going back to sleep." Yoongi said, scuffling back down the hallway and retreating into his room without another word.
