Chapter Two: Introductions All Around

Ama's POV-

Jesus christ, can't my sister go one day without making a scene?

Then again, that spiky haired boy isn't much better.

My sister watches the blonde argue with the stern looking boy in interest, so I merely rest my head on my arms and relax a bit. The bi-color haired boy has no idea that his comment probably boosted Zai's ego further, she's always loved entertaining people.

Not in the dirty way, mind you.

My sister used to perform a lot back in Hosu, before our parents died. She never had a name to go by on stage, so the crowd always picked a name for her at each show. Since Aizawa took us in, she had to announce that her performances were moving with her so she can keep doing local shows.

I did a few soccer games so I was on the road a bit, but my sister always made sure to come to each of my games. Even if I couldn't go to one of her concerts because of a game, she would reschedule just so she could cheer me on. As much of an egotistical bitch as she is, Zai is always there if I need her.

"Remove your foot from this desk! Such an action is an insult to those who came to U.A. before us as well as the craftsmen who made that desk!" The stern looking male says with some overly-exaggerated hand gestures.

The blonde boy merely smirks and laughs in response, leaning back in his seat as he pulls his other leg onto the desk. "Like I care. What middle school are you from, you extra?"

Oh great, so he's one of those types. Egotistical and prideful, but not quite on Zai's level. I can see her eyes light up in amusement as she watches the boy, and I can only mentally groan at whatever she could be thinking of doing.

"I'm from Somei Private Academy. My name is Tenya Iida," the stern man replies. Okay, so now I can put a face to that name at least. He doesn't look like the troublemaker type, and definitely not with his strict attitude towards the blonde.

"Somei?! A stuck-up elitist then? I should blow you to bits." I frown hearing the blonde's words. I can already tell that he has no respect for the wellbeing of others, and Zai merely keeps her gaze on their conversation. Don't even think about it, sister. You're lucky he didn't threaten you earlier with that stunt you pulled.

To be fair, he was probably too surprised to form a coherent sentence before she went and sat down. That's the kind of effect my sister has, I suppose. She's the type to flirt with everyone, girl or guy, though that's mainly just a part of her personality.

"You're awful! Do you truly wish to be a hero?" Iida says with a mix of shock and fear. I look over to see the door is wide open, and a boy with green hair is watching the scene with frightened eyes.

"Aye man, cut the kid some slack!" Zai says with a smirk. "Don't want him to throw a wittle tantrum, do we? It would be quite annoying."

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU SAY, EXTRA?"

"Extra? Sir I'm the star of this little show here, you're merely a stepping stone on my walk of fame."

Okay, so maybe they're both more similar than I thought. Iida looks around and sees the green haired boy in the doorway, making his way to him and leaving my sister to deal with her prideful doppelganger. "I'm from Somei private academy.."

"I heard you before! I'm Izuku Midoriya, pleased to meet you Iida.." The boy says with a slight stutter, and I can see his nervousness from the way his hands are shaking. This guy got into U.A.?

Then again, if my sister and the blonde hedgehog could get in, I guess he could too.

"Midoriya... you perceived the true nature of the practical exam, while I did not! I misjudged you. I hate to admit it, but you are clearly the superior candidate!" Iida says, causing me to roll my eyes and turn my attention to my sister.

The blonde hedgehog looks like he's about to blow a gasket while Zai teases his anger issues. Small explosions erupt from his palms as he gets more pissed off, and Zai has to cover her mouth to stifle her laugh. "Oh my god, is boom boom boy getting angry? Why don't you take a nap, and I'll sing you a lullaby?"

"SHUT YOUR DAMN FACE!! WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, ANYWAYS?" He says, but a girl's voice from behind Midoriya gains his attention. I watch him scowl as he sees the green haired boy, taking a seat once more.

"You got in, just like Present Mic said!" A young girl with brown hair that cups her face has a giant smile on her face. "Makes sense though, that punch was awesome!"

I wonder what happened in the practical exams for her to say that.. maybe he has an offensive quirk? "No! I mean..! I have to thank you for speaking on my behalf.."

"Huh? How do you know about that?"

I tune out of their conversation for a moment as Zai taps my shoulder. "Hey sis," she says with her voice barely above a whisper. "Do you really think they'll have us do orientation today?"

"No, especially since we already know who our homeroom teacher is. I wouldn't bet on it," I reply with a slight yawn. My sister reaches into her bag and pulls out a blue thermos, passing it over to me with a grin. I take it with a silent nod as thanks, the smell of coffee assaulting my senses as soon as I open it.

Zai pulls out a thermos of her own, though hers is a deep shade of purple. She can be very picky about the kind of coffee she likes, while I don't really have a preference. "Vanilla frappuccino?" I ask her once I see what's inside of her thermos. My sister nods with a smile before taking a large swig out of hers.

"If you're here to socialize, get out." I hear a very familiar voice just outside of the classroom as I take a sip of my own coffee. "This is...the hero course."

Both Zai and I roll our eyes as we see Aizawa in his sleeping bag, drinking his packet of whatever the hell that is. To this day neither of us know what it is, and we've been living with him for a few weeks now.

Aizawa is dressed in his hero outfit, which to be fair isn't really much different than his normal attire. Just a normal sweater, pants and boots with everything in black. His trademarked scarf hangs loosely around his neck, and I'm willing to bet his goggles are underneath it as well. Around his belt are various canisters, and to be fair I don't think either of us asked him what's in those either.

Aizawa slowly wriggles out of his yellow sleeping bag, zipping it up behind him. "It took you all eight seconds to quiet down. That's not going to work, time is a precious resource. You lot aren't very rational are you?"

Midoriya and the rest of the group that is currently huddled around the door rush to take their seats. Aizawa slowly makes his way to the front of the class, tossing his sleeping bag to the side.

"I'm Shouta Aizawa, your homeroom teacher," he says, earning a lot of shocked looks from the class. Well what the fuck else did they think he was here for? Aizawa pulls a uniform out of his sleeping bag, holding it in front of Midoriya. "Quickly now, change into your gym clothes and head out to the grounds."

The other students look uneasy, but Zai merely grins and stands up from her chair as our teacher leaves the room. "Well, I guess today was a bad day to wear heels huh?" she says casually, causing me to roll my eyes.

"Don't your feet hurt wearing those all the time?" The girl who I believe said her name was Mina asks, making her way over to my sister.

"Nah, not anymore," Zai responds with a hand on her hip. "I've got a high pain tolerance, so it's only difficult when I'm breaking in new shoes. You should see my collection, though I only have about forty-six pairs of stilettos."

"ONLY FORTY-SIX???" Mina shrieks, her mouth dropping in surprise.

My sister merely laughs at this, flicking her hair over her shoulder before turning to me. "Ready to go, sis?"

"So you're the other two recommended students?" A girl with a black ponytail speaks up before I can say anything. "Why do I feel like I've seen you from somewhere?" Her gaze is on me when she asks, and I immediately let my eyes fall to the floor.

"Wait, sis?" Mina asks with a confused expression. "Now that I think about it, you never did give me your name."

Zai turns a slight shade of pink, and I notice that other students are hanging back to listen in on our conversation. I even see the blonde haired boy, though he's doing his best to seem uninterested.

I hate all of this already.

I am so triggered, so in the manga Iida's name is actually spelled Ida. I tried to do that originally but it bothered me so much I had to change it. Fuck that shit.
