"It's that time of the year again students, that's right Homecoming!" The voice on the intercom says. "Tickets are available next week, at lunch they're ten dollars and fifteen at the door. Guys I wouldn't wait to ask that special lady! Have a great day Beagles!" The cheery voice cuts out as I bring my head down onto my desk groaning.

"What's wrong? No one to go with?" I turn my head and blush as I look at Charlie.

"I have someone in mind, it's just complicated." I mumble as I turn my head away.

"Oh, it couldn't be that bad, I'm sure that Bruce wants to go." Charlie says making my head pop up.

"What?!" I ask surprised.

"Yeah, cause you and Bruce-"

"No I don't like Bruce! I like," I stop my self from spilling the beans, "someone else." I turn away blushing.

"Oh, well that's good." Charlie says leaning back a bit. "Is it Joel?" He asks.

"Definitely not." I say laughing a little.

"Is it me." Charlie says with a smile, I blush even redder.

"Ummm," the bell rings, "Class! Bye!" As I leave I hear Charlie say 'Saved by the bell.'

"He thought what?!" Angie yells surprised as we walk down the hallway together.

"Shh, and yeah, but then he asked if it was Joel, then him, I kind of froze and left." I say hurriedly.

"Okay well first off, really? Bruce? And second that was your freaking chance to tell him!" Angie shakes my shoulders in frustration.

"I know, I know." I say taking her hands off me. "But things are a little complicated with my Titan life right now and I'm not sure if it's a good idea or not." I say shrugging, remembering my dreams.

"Well you better act fast." Angie says.

"Why?" I ask, she then turns me around, I see Charlie and some girl laughing. "Oh, I'll be right back." I say through gritted teeth, a locker pops open and out falls a kid, I continue to walk.

"Hey Jamie! What's up?" Charlie asks as I approach him and the girl.

"Oh nothing much I just wanted to ask you something." I say with a smile.

"Okay, if you excuse us Melanie." Charlie says politely as we walk away. "So what's-"

"Your taking me to Homecoming, I'm buying my own ticket and I'll see you at seven, and were going to eat before hand with Angie, Joel, and Bruce." I say it all with confidence and a blush, crossing my arms.

"Okay, I'll see you then." Charlie says with a smile and wink, then leaving.

I walk back to Angie stunned, did I really do it, did he really say yes.

"How'd it go?" Angie asks.

"He said yes," I say then smile, I look at her fully, "he said yes!" We both start to jump up and down and squeal.

We stop once we realize people are looking, we continue on our way to class.

I return home in a daze, I can't believe he said yes. I enter the kitchen with a grin.

"Well someone looks happy, what's with the smile." My dad asks with a smile of his own as he makes him self a sandwhich.

"Well I asked someone to Homecoming, and he said yes." My dad looks at me with a blank face.

"Umm, uhhh, Rae!" My dad calls out to my mother.

"What is it?" She asks as she enters.

"Have we ever established the rules on dating?" He asks confused.

"No why?" My mom asks.

"I have a date for Homecoming." I say with a small smile to my mother.

"Good for you Jamie, anyone we know?" She asks with her raspy tone.

"It's Charlie." I say happily.

"What?!" My dad says with bug eyes at me. "Wally and Jinxes son?" He asks for clarification, I nod.

"Well just make sure if he gets grabby go for the eyes it the throat, we'll go dress shopping Friday." Mom says. "Now go do your homework, dad's cooking tonight." I nod again and leave for my room.

I flop down on my bed, before I sigh happily, I close my eyes.

"Jamie, Jamie~" The voice sings to me. "Jamie you are going to be the key." I scrunch my eyes in confusion, I look around for the voice. "You are going to be a better key then your mother was." My eyes widen.

"Slade." I whisper to myself, them look around frantically.

"You won't find me." He says. "The only time you will see me is in your dreams," he appears infringing off me causing me to fall backwards, he leans down so we see eye to eye, "and your doom." He disappears.

I look around and see myself in in front of a burning warehouse, where I can hear the screams of my friends and family. I watch in horror, then look down at my hands to see blood on them, I look up again to see myself in a mirror, I'm wearing a uniform like Slades. I wake with a jolt and find tears running down my face. I get up and run into the kitchen to find my dad stirring pasta.

"Daddy." I say my voice wavering, he turns quickly and looks at me with concern, he hurries over.

"What's wrong Jamie?" He ask as he pulls me into a hug, I can't control knees and fall to the floor.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." I repeat over and over into his chest as he holds me on the floor.

"What's going on?" I hear my mothers voice approaching.

"I'm sorry." I repeat again through tears.

I feel two pairs of arms come around me, I look to see Chase and my mom holding me also. I couldn't help but cry even more. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"And then I woke up." I finish telling the Titans and family what happened in my dream, we waited to tell them until the next day.

"Were there any words on the building or any letters you could see?" Robin asks.

"I could see a P, R, S, and an E." I say trying to remember. "But that's all I could make out sorry."

"It's okay, even the little bits help." He says. "But we're going to have everyone stay here until further notice, just in case anything else happens, you can have one of the free rooms." Robin then gets up to work on what information I gave him.

I get up with my bag and go into one of the rooms of the Titan tower. It's spacious inside; there's a twin sized bunk bed with a desk underneath, and a purple beanbag chair in the corner. I observe the room before taking a seat in the bean bag chair. I pull out my laptop before I start to type up my homework.

"I see you chose one of the better rooms." I hear my dad say,I look up to see him standing in the door way.

"Yeah I guess." I say getting comfortable in the chair.

"Do you want to see something cool about this room?" My dad asks.

I look at him as he closes the door and turns off the lights. I look up at the glowing ceiling, it's not like the glowing stars you buy at the stores, they look like real stars that you see at night.

"Wow." I almost whisper.

"I know, amazing." Dad says before looking around. "This place is cleaner then I left it." He says with little surprise.

"This was your room?" I ask, shocked.

"Yep, when your mom and I used to live here." He pauses a moment before talking again. "Your mom and I got together under some unusual circumstances, you see before we started dating, I dated this girl Karma, who also turned out to be a new villain." I snort.

"Way to go dad." I say with a smile, but continue to listen.

"I know, just keep in mind I wax still a goof ball. Now as I was saying, I guess I always liked your mother, it just took her sometime for her to like me back. That's where Karma comes in you see I genuinely liked karma but I never had felt the spark between us. When ever I was around Raven though it was a spark." My dad looks off with a happy look.

"What are you trying to say dad?" I ask.

"What I'm trying to say," his focus back on me, "is that when you know it's the right person you'll feel the spark, it's not always right the first try, but sometimes they've always been there." He then turns to me "I love you, good night kiddo." He says ruffling my hair before leaving.

"Love you too, good night." I say, he then closes the door.

I lean back in the chair before sighing and getting up, I look up at the stars and smile.

"So you and Charlie huh?" I hear Bruce's voice behind me.

"Hm?" I respond confused.

"You, Charlie, homecoming, ringing any bells?" He asks as he enters the room.

"Oh yeah," I blush, "what about it?" I ask, I look back up at the stars.

"Oh, just surprised that you actually asked him." Bruce says nudging me.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I say playfully, I nudge him back.

"Oh nothing," he kisses my cheek real quick, I blush, "good night Jamie." Bruce says leaving me surprised.

I kind of traced a pic of Terra uniform from internets so I could draw Jamie as Slades apprentice in her dream. But other than that it's all meh!!!!!
