"It's just right over this hill!" Ahsoka called out. She wasted no time in bringing Anakin here. They finally had the chance to stop Palpatine and save themselves and their friends from this world.

Ahsoka looked back to make sure Anakin was still following, and he was. She reached the peak where she spotted the Sith artifact yesterday.

It was gone.

"No!" she shouted.

Ahsoka dashed to the very spot she stood in the day before, but it was gone. She looked at Anakin with pain in her eyes. "It- it was here. I promise!"

Anakin walked up to Ahsoka and put a hand on her shoulder. "I believe you, Snips. But it's not here any more. Which could only mean one thing. Palpatine is onto us."

Ahsoka looked down unable to find the words to describe how she felt. This wasn't supposed to happen. They were so close, but now - now what?

Anakin sighed. "We're going to have to be more careful from now on. We don't know what he has planned or who is on his side."

Ahsoka nodded and looked off at the horizon. The sunset gave her so much hope yesterday, but today it felt that as the sun disappeared, so did any sign of hope.
