Special: Lyra And Louise

Remi put his ear to the baby bump and laughed. "Angel, the baby sounds like it's kicking you."

Angel swatted her husband. "It is. It even pinches me. I guess you wouldn't understand, though," she grumbled, and shot him an evil look. "Get out of my sight. You're fired."

They both laughed. The ever-famous line Remi used to tell Angel back when they were boss and chauffeur. It brought back memories of the old days when they would argue and banter.

Remi's phone buzzed and his forehead creased slightly. It didn't affect his looks at all, though. Now he just looked like a very handsome businessman. "Yes, yes. Alright. I will. Thank you."

He hung up and pressed a quick kiss to her forehead. "I have a client to meet. I'll be back soon, Angel."

Remi had eventually taken over his parent's business, becoming the CEO of the largest law firm in the world. He had made many reforms and the business had grown into a friendly and welcoming environment for everyone, as opposed to the cold, sterile company it had been before.

Angel had gone to college, but before she could decide what to major in, she had been somehow scouted by the CIA. So now she worked as a top-secret spy for the Central Intelligence Agency. Of course, Angel had just started out, and so only handled low-level cases, not the high-profile ones yet. However, she was indeed looking forward to being promoted.

The six-year-old Lyra came running up, her braids swinging behind her. "Mummy, I thought of a name for my sister!"

"Oh?" Angel asked.

"Louise," Lyra pronounced proudly. "I just read the name in a book and I think it's super pretty. Can we please name her Louise Tryston?"

Angel exhaled, blinking rapidly to slow the onset of memories flooding her mind. "Yes...Louise is a pretty name," she said softly. "I'll ask your daddy, okay?"

Lyra smiled cheerfully. "Okay!"

Later that night, Lyra had been put to bed, and Remi was diligently writing down his schedule for tomorrow in a black notebook. Angel was lying on the bed, doing nothing. It felt nice to do nothing at all.

"So Lyra said she wants to name her sister Louise," Angel brought up the topic of the baby's name.

Remi turned around, setting down his fountain pen. (He liked using those.) "I don't know what to say to that."

"Well, I think carrying on the name of Louise is suitable."

Her husband's face relaxed and he smiled. "Alright, I'll listen to you."

"Thanks, Remi."

He groaned. "We've been married for two years but I still can't get over you saying my name that way."

Angel laughed. "Too bad, I'm pregnant already. You can't do anything to me, Remi. Remi. Remi. Remiiiii."

Remi buried his head in his hands, but Angel noticed his pinky finger twitching madly. She grinned and flopped down to sleep.

---

Louise was born, and Lyra finally had a beautiful baby sister to take care of and play with. She had Remi's dark hair and Angel's purple-tinted eyes, which was stunning on a little baby. The nurses cooed over her, and even the doctor acknowledged that little Louise Tryston was adorable.

Angel sighed. "I really want a kid with your eyes, though."

Remi leaned close to her ear, and whispered alluringly "Don't worry, love. We can have more kids. As many as you want."
