*Aether's P.O.V*

Lately, I have been wanting to not leave Xiao alone. He's been having  more Flashbakcs of the Archon war and other trauma he has. I've been so worried about him, that I feel like I have to follow him everywhere. 'Aether!' Paimon suddenly yelled, as we made our way back to Monstadt. 'What?!' I yelled back 'You have been spacing out too much that Paimon thinks it's not good for you. What's it about? Lumine? Xiao? Me? Tell me!' She wondered, 'What N-n-no! Just other things ok? It's nothing to worry about.' I lied, I was worrying about Xiao. 'Okkk' she said, as we got to the gate of Monstadt. We were greeted by the knights as we usually are and made our way to the Tavern to meet Diluc to give us some advice. Secretly, Diluc is a great person to talk to, he is understanding and gives you good advice in tricky situations. 'Oh, it's you guys. What would you like?' Diluc greeted as we made our way in the tavern. 'Apple juice please!'' Paimon ordered 'Oh uhhhh I don't want a drink, I need some advice' I whispered. 'Ok, what is it?' He asked. 'Well, you know the Guy I've been mad on recently, according to Paimon?' I started, 'You've botched mentioned him, is it Xiao?' 'Yes.... He has been having lots of flashbacks lately and I'm just worried about him, I try asking him but he won't listen. What should I do?!' I quickly blurted out as Paimon put her mora on the bar surface for the drink. 'Well, I can't really help you there. All I can say is just give him some alone time and let him do some thinking, or you can just keep an eye on him to make sure he's ok.' He answerr 'Ok, thanks Diluc.' 'It's my pleasure.' Diluc said as he attended to another customer.

'Aether? Should we visit Xiao, to see if he's alright?' Paimon asked, finishing her apple juice 'Sure, lest go' I agreed as we got up and left the tavern. We were half way there to Liyue to see Xiao until a group of Hillichurls had encounterd us. I began beating them until a flash of teal ran pass and they had all gone. It was Xiao. 'Xiao! What are you doing here!?' Paimon asked, surprised by the appearance 'I was coming to visit you, I need to talk to you, Aether. Alone.' He said, making it obvious that he didn't want Paimon to know what he needed to talk to me about. 'Ok! I'll be here!' Paimon said as we walked off behind a cliff. 'So, what is i-' I began until Xiao tarted speaking 'I know you've been worried about me. It's true, I have been having unusual flashbacks but, I'm fine. Honestly. Stop worrying about me.'

*xiao's P.O.V'

'Stop worrying about me.' I finish, while Aether had a surprised look on his adorable face. When he's shocked, happy, and even in distress he is pretty cute. Don't tell him I said that though, or you will awake to a knife at your throat. 'Oh, ok that's f- wait. How did you know?!' He yelled. 'It's easy to tell, Aether.' I said shaking my head and crossing my arms. 'So I have told you what I needed to so goodbye.' After about 1 hour I was back to my favourite place is the world, Wangshu Inn. I stood there, on the balcony with all the other mortals and thought about life. Why am I feeling like this? Why is this happening? I don't know, yet, but I will... I-I-
