"Y/N! GET BACK HERE"

"NEVER!"

You run as fast as your legs can take you, with the precious little treasure in hand. The cake. You managed to snatch it off Ralsei when Susie let go of you, and since Susie was the most hungry, she was the most fast for the cake.

"You shall never partake of my precious cake! Muahahahaha!"

You smile and keep running, and hiding behind houses and behind castle walls. You were about to look for somewhere to hide, you look left. Clear. Right. Clear. You can see a good spot for you to hide. So you plan your steps to see where you can go without being seen. You plan out, and you do according to it. Step here, stop, look left. Clear. Look right. Not clear. Susie is looking for you, her eyes still not visible underneath her now colored amber hair. "Guess that didn't change." Then she turns.

And stares right at you.

"I GOT YOU NOW YOU LITTLE CAKE THIEF"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAA"

You run as fast as you can down the opposite direction, you run each step of the stairs and the cake! It slips out of your grasp. You try to catch it but your reflexes are slower then gravity. Kris and Ralsei sees the scene and runs to the cakes aid, though they know they cannot possibly make it. But then, suddenly...

Time stops.

Everyone is looking at you weirdly, Kris with a surprised look on his face. You are also confused, but you grab the cake, frozen in time to it's inevitable doom. It is safely in your hands. Time resumes and everyone feels it going on...Time...

"SINCE WHEN COULD YOU CONTROL TIME WHAT THE HELL" Susie says, sincerely surprised.

"I DONT KNOW???" You say, comtorting your face into something stupid.

Ralsei looks at you with a serious face. "I see...I see now. You as not apart of the prophesy, but you as not a normal Lightener. He adjusts his glasses curtly. "What are you...?" As if anyone else would've known. Everyone was still confused as hell and it made your head spin.

"What do you mean, what is she?" Kris says, a tone of annoyance evident in his voice. "She's human, just like me. She hasn't been able to do this before until now."

Ralsei nods quickly. "Oh yes yes, I am aware of that. She is still a Lightener. But she has time on her side." Ralsei smiled. "I don't mean to scare you, Y/N. It's just me thinking out loud. I am confused just as much as you and everybody else." You nod slowly, looking down at your hands.

"Hey Ralsei, do you wanna come to the surface with us?" Susie says, catching everyone by surprise. Kris hisses. "Are you crazy? Ralsei can't enter the light realm! He'll disintegrate!"

You look at Ralsei and they're smiling. "Well, not entirely." Ralsei turned toward you. "As long as I'm wearing one item of lightener clothing, I will be protected." You pat yourself down to see if there was anything you could give to Ralsei. Ah, your (item of loose clothing.)

(Guys don't take your shirt off and give it to Ralsei, lmao. Think of things like...a Scruncie hairtie or a jacket or something that you can immediately take off lol.)

Edit: y'all are so good to Ralsei good job.

You give Ralsei the I/O/C and they put it on. "Thank you so much, Y/N! Now I can see the light world with you guys!" You smile. "That's okay Ralsei." You then turn. And look. You're confused.

"How are we going to get out of here exactly?"

"Oh yes, don't worry about that." Ralsei says. "Here, hold hands and place something that you have that's important to you but holds bad memory."

Kris looks at Ralsei. "I have nothing that could possibly make me..actually, I do. Never mind." He waves his hand over his chest and breathes in. This heart appears. Glowing red with something that you can't describe. Determination? No. It was something else entirely. They let it float to the middle. Susie smiles and places a muslei bar in the middle. "Susie what the fu-" "it's a long story okay? I'll tell you one day." She winks at you and the looks back at the middle.

EDIT FROM 2020: I never wrote about the muslei bar story, somebody please remind me to do that!

Kris looks at you with an evident lenny. You glare daggers. You're trying not to like Susie but she really isn't helping, huh?

Ralsei tosses a white ribbon to the middle, you toss a [insert item here.]

EDIT FROM 2020: like something that would...bring back some bad memories you know? <3 Anything will do but preferably something small and significant.

The ground shakes and you all feel like you're disappearing into space and time. For a second you see everything that you could ever have seen. For a second your brain possesses the knowledge of truth and light. For a second.

For a second.

Susie realises where she's seen you before.
