Chapter 25: Moonbeams.
Hey everyone! I'm sorry for the lack of authors notes lately, I was kinda scared that many people would think that it took away the real reason why you guys came here so I'll keep this short.
How are you guys? Doing good? Bad?
And thank you for the fanart and the fanbooks like aaa ♡♡♡
(Can you guys tell me if your fanart isn't on the fanart page? I've forgotten to add some and now I've forgotten who drew what.)
(Oh and for those who asked, my name is actually Annalyn. But people call me by Anny or Moon. )

They all walk home, with Susie holding onto Y/N, and Kris looking at Moon, who was still looking straight ahead. She knew he was staring at her, but she didn't want to say or do anything. She also kind of regretted inviting him over because you know, he kinda tried to kill her earlier.
She also knew that Kris' had something on his mind that she mildly didn't like. But she shut herself out of Kris' thoughts. She remembers what Gaster told her before she left forever.
Before she left that cold, white office. Was it cold, maybe. It could've been warm or hot, she didn't remember. Was it even a white walled office?
The universe was one and every color, so she was never actually sure of what she saw and felt in that office.
Was it even an office?
Her mind was spinning, so she snapped out of it and focused on the path, walking home briskly, feeling more awkward than before.
"If Kris kills you, I can't SAVE you."
It echoed in her mind constantly, and she knew he was correct. Since he couldn't touch her files, he couldn't save them either.
Nobody could save Moon, not even Anny, for she is of Moon and Anny wouldn't have saved herself even if she needed to. So Moon was somehow saved but also doomed.
It was a very weird thing to think about.
Moon looks up toward the sky, her thoughts throughly lost in a maze of ever lasting thought. She simply reveled in it, and everyone made their way slowly but surely, back to the L/N residence.
When they came home, everyone was sent to sleep immediately. Moon had told everyone sternly that it was a bit late to be awake on a school day, and that breakfast would be served at exactly 7:00. Everyone was tired, so they did want she said, all going to sleep. Moon had told Kris to sleep in her bed, since Ralsei was with your father and Susie was with you. He agreed, and left to her room.
Moon looks at the stars, taking in the cold fresh air that she had grown used to. She shivered, her thoughts scattered, and came to the conclusion that she didn't shiver because of the cold. Susie sits next to her, staring at the stars also.
"I thought I told you guys to go to sleep." Moon said, a smile evident.
"Yeah, and you expected me to listen?" Moon looked at her, her smile fully showing. She shrugged and looked back at the sky. "Point taken. You look like you want to talk. What's on your mind?"
Susie was a little unsettled on how to the point Moon was, but Moon was always weird, so it didn't matter. "Yeah I did actually. How did you know?" Moon looks at Susie, her eyes bored but fluid.
"Because you wouldn't break the rules without a valid reason." Moon says finally. Susie just sat there, taking in Y/N's psychic sister. Susie moves her hair out of her face, realising that there is nothing.
Nothing.
That she could possibly hide from Moon. Moon looks at Susie, moving her legs to a more comfortable position and waited for her to speak. "Well, spit it out Susie."
"Moon, can you help me?"
Moon looks at Susie in confusion and awe. It was the first time Susie ever asked for help from anyone, and Moon knew how hard it was for someone like Susie to ask of something like that.
So Moon smiled and humbled herself, thanking the stars for considering her worthy of such a task, which is, helping Susie. "What do you need help with Susie? is everything okay?" although Moon hated that question with every fibre of her being, she thought that question would be an effable way to start off the rant.
"I know that everyone in Hometown is scared of me, but I'm just a monster like everyone else in this wretched town. I honestly don't know what to do, I feel like there's just no way for me to become friends with everyone. I want to get along with everyone, but I feel that my past will forever be what they expect from me, you know?" Susie looks down, disappointed. Her eyes refused to water, as her brain frequently tells her heart to stop aching.
Moon can see all this by looking into someones eyes, so she looks back at Susie and pats her on the shoulder.
"You know, sometime ago there was another person that Y/N fell in love with once. He was someone that she would always talk about. Day after day in her limited vocabulary, she would somehow get across the supposed love she had for him.
So one day, when the sun was bright and the grass was a lovely green, Y/N admitted how she felt for the boy, to the boy. Her words were all truthful and unfiltered. Everything she said was from the heart, as if her heart was speaking straight to him.
But he rejected her. Susie, to this day she remembers what had happened, and shes always scared of it happening again. Even though she knows that you love her, shes always in doubt. Always."
Susie nods, she understands what its like to be unsure, and although she knew that Y/N loved her too, she doubted sometimes too. "I always thought that doubting was a bad thing." She looked down, her face understanding, but full of shame edged across her features. Moon shrugs and looks up.
"Maybe, but it also cannot be helped. Its just apart of nature." Susie nods.
"Maybe you should just focus on what matters, okay? If people don't want to get to know you or become friends with you, that is their problem. They're the ones missing out on the loyal, overprotective and somehow wholesome Susie." Moon beams, and giggles.
"What?" Susie says smiling, but confused.
"I sound like Y/N when she talks about you, except shes all you know, lovey dovey about it."
