Chapter 23: Blue Moon.
"I'm going home now, tell Ralsei I said bye." Y/N and Susie nod and put their thumbs up, and when they realise that they did it at the same time, they face eachother, their faces happy and vibrant. Moon smiles at me, and asks me if she can walk me home.
I don't want to disturb her or make her heave anymore effort, so I profusely say no, but she offers again, saying that she is sure that she can and that there is nothing else for her to do, so I let her. I don't know much about Moon, since she was always alone as a kid.
It was only me and Y/N playing around. Yeah, Susie too, but she played more with Y/N then she did me back in that other suburb we used to stay in.
What is it called again? I totally forgot.
Maybe this will help me get to know Moon more. So we walk the short distance back to my house. Sometimes I wish that my mom would be less overprotective and let me stay over at Y/N's house, but she doesn't, saying that there's chores for me to do, but nonetheless, I couldn't have asked for a better mother. I look at Moon, as she looks at the white footpath. She looks like she's thinking about something, her face serious.
I'm the oldest out of Susie and Y/N. Although Susie is taller than me, I'm indeed older than both of them.
(Eg: if you're 15; then Kris and Moon are 17. They're 2 years older than you, with Kris older than Moon by a few months.)
Me and Moon are the same height, so we both walk on both sides of the path. I feel weird for thinking about how tall she was. I look at her. She seems troubled.
"Moon, can I ask you a question?"
Moon looks at me, adjusting her glasses. Her lips curve into a smile, her purple sweater all of a sudden too bright for my eyes. "What's up, Kris?" I point to a bench. "Can we sit down?" She nods, "Oh! yeah sure." We both take a seat, looking at the road. Everything was dead silence. I spoke first.
"Have you ever felt like you do things...but you don't want to? Or like, you do, but when you do, it's not you that does it?"
Moon looks at me, her face skeptical. But I know that she knows what I'm talking about. "Moon." I don't have time for this. I snatch her wrist. She looks at me, alarmed. "W-what?!" She says. I repeat myself.
"Do you know what I'm talking about?"
She nods. And I let go of her. I sit there, my hands touching my chest. I can feel them haunting me, telling me sternly that I shouldn't have done that.
But I don't care about that anymore. I want to know what's wrong with me. I know that humans don't have to take their souls out of their body every now and again. So I'm asking the only person who knows.
"Look Kris, there is a wall of...let's just say glass or see through material. I cant break that so I can't explain as much as I can."
"What?" I say. What wall?
"It's like...the gods created their world and to protect it, they build a huge wall or sphere around it to see what their creation is up to."
"I...I see. Well what can you tell me?"
"....Kris. The presumed "Gods" have.. sometimes...they...they can control you. With your soul. You aren't made with an attitude or a motive like the rest of their creations. YOU are their motives and they use you to get the job done."
Then she looks at me. Her hands touch my forehead and she holds my fringe up, her eyes looking into mine.
"So Kris, I'll ask you a question."
What?
"Who are you right now?"
I look at her. And I look down. I hold her hands.
"I...I'm...I want to be Kris. But I don't know anymore."
Moon cries. Why? I hug her, wanting to know why she cries the way she does. Her tears are constant, and she whispers "as a God, I'll protect you from the other one."
What did she mean by this?

"Yawn." Ralsei rubs his eyes and looks around. He sees the familiarity of his fathers room. He jumps off he bed with a resounding thump and waltzes out into the hallway, making his way to the sitting room. Y/N and Susie were there, admiring Kris' and Ralsei's artwork. They look up at Ralsei.
"Hey! What's up sleepyhead?" Susie says, smiling.
"I'm hungry" Ralsei says, he missed dinner. Y/N nods and gets up, leaving the drawings on the floor. "Yeah I'll get some dinner out for you." She pulls out the rest of the casserole that Moon made and served Ralsei a plate. He smiles in delight, before grabbing a spoon and eating on the table happily. Y/N walks back to the floor of the sitting room, sitting next to Susie, who was still looking at all the drawings.
"Who knew Kris was an artist, huh?" Susie says, thoroughly impressed. You nod. "I know, I mean...the detail man." Susie nods in agreement and sets the art on her lap, before neatly folding some pages and slipping it into her jeans pocket.
You smile at her. "What are you gonna do with those?" Susie looks at you and laughs. "I'm gonna make this is a reality in the next 10 years."
And you blushed, because most of them were wedding images.
Susie smiles and pats you on the head, before enveloping you into her arms and hugging you close, her chin on your shoulder. "You know Y/N, I'm so happy here. With you, Ralsei, Kris and Moon.. and yeah your father." You giggle. "Yeah..I'm happy with all of us too."
"Hey, speaking of which, where is Moon? She supposed to be home by now." Susie looks at you worried. "I would say that Toriel told her to stay over but she would've called the home phone." You nod and get up. "She doesn't have her phone since it's charging in my room. We can't call her." Susie nods, her face serious.
"Well then, let's go look for our sister."
You told Ralsei where you guys were doing. "That's okay! Just because I don't fight doesn't mean I can't." He looks at you determined. "Look for sis. I'll stay home and look after the house. I'll tell dad what you guys are up to." You smile at him in thanks, before rushing with Susie into the dark hometown.

She's one of them. One of the reasons why I'm this way. She can't live. I thought she was the only one who could help me, but she isn't.
She's a liar. A thief and a cheat.
She knew the suffering that I had to go through before, not even being able to make my own desicions. I had to do what they said and did.
What she said and did.
"Moon." I hear my own voice over the other telling me not to do what I was going to do. She looks at me in fear.
Good.
I can feel the knife's wooden handle against my palm. Maybe she'll never know how it feels to be controlled.
But she'll know how it feels to never be herself again.
"Kris! Look, we both know that you're the stronger one here but hear me out!"
I can't believe that she had the nerve to talk in such a situation.
"But aren't you one of them? One of the people that can control me?" Moon shakes her head. That lying son of a-
"No...not anymore. Kris, when I saw you I knew that I couldn't have possibly possessed you. I just... I couldn't."
"When I saw this world, I sacrificed my title. So I could see you grow. I...I wanted to see the real Kris."
"The one holding the knife was what you were meant to be. You were meant to be a killer. But you had so much more than that."
"When you broke out of my control to save Susie from the king in the dark world, I knew that you had so much more."
"Kris, you can kill me if it's what you desire. But hear me out when I say this."
"I'm on your side. I care about you. I want to protect you from the other God that can take control of you. And right now this instant, he's watching."
"Please, Kris. I'm asking of you my life. As a friend, and .... as I see from your mind.."
"As a lover."

Inspired by people that wanted me to be with Kris for some reason.
Not that I'm complaining. Kris is one hot mess my bb's.
