L stopped running and started walking, making it easier for Light to find him. He walked in an open field, so no one can hear them. L had to think about what he was going to do. "Am I going to commit murder? Just for the sake of people's risk? He.... did kill inmates that they were going to die anyway..." L shooked his head, no matter if they did have a death sentence or not, it's still unjustified to take another's man life! So L sat down in the field and waited.. waited for Light to come.
Light was walking, he was tired of running around like a manic for a man that might be dead. "No... he wouldn't be dead!" Light thought to him self. Light started running again, still holding on to a glimmer of hope that he would find L. Soon, Light found L in an empty open field. Light ran to L yelling "Ryuzaki!" Light stopped running, just a few feet away from L. L had a pistol, pointing at his head. L told Light "Don't.. make another move, or I'll shoot!" Light started tearing up. He was choking on words to say. But something came out, Light told L "Please... put the gun down... we can talk about this, just don't shoot me." L hands shook a bit, re-thinking his decisions on ending Light's life. Light stepped forward a bit, but the pistol was still aimed at Light. Light yelled "Why?! Why should I trust you?! You held me captive!" Light on the verge of tears told L "Because... I love you." L was shocked to hear, Light... the all mighty Kira, loves him. Light continued "I knew, that you knew that I was Kira no doubt... I had to continue my work for a reason.. so my father would come home unharmed and that you would have time for me. I know what I did was wrong, but if this what it takes for me to have you to my self then so be it.... If you think what I did was still unjustified, then shoot me." L was on the verge of tears not knowing what to do. Light walked up to him slowly and lowered his arm, so he wouldn't shoot by accident. Light hugged him tightly, to show that Light wouldn't do anything to L. L didn't know what else to do but cry. So he cried into Light's chest. Light holded him as long as needed so L would be ok. L looked at him saying "You... did all of this for me?.." Light nodded his head. L grabbed Light by his shirt and pulled him in for a kiss. Light kissed back, hoping that this day would come. L broke the kiss telling Light "How about.. we go back to your house? And try to clear this mess?" Light nodded his head responding "Thank you L." L chuckled a bit and respond "You can call me Lawlet." Light nodded his head. Light and L walk off back to Light's house, hand in hand.
