OKAY LAST UPDATE ACTUALLY WORKED

SO I THINK I KNOW HOW TO KEEP IT FROM DELETING EVERYTHING

I HAVE TO WRITE THE UPDATE ALL AT ONCE

THIS MIGHT RESULT IN BAD CHAPTERS BUT I THINK THATS BETTER THEN NOTHING

Hiccup's POV

I finished hanging my father's helmet on the wall. I stood straight up and took a deep breath. I felt a hand get placed on my shoulder. I turned my head and saw Astrid, standing right next to me, looking at me. She gave me a small little smile. I shifted and faced her. At that moment the entire gang barged in, including Mercy.

"Hiccup we need your help!" Fishlegs said.

"Woah guys slow down what is it?" I asked.

"Toothless is missing Dad I cant find him in the normal spots he goes to." Mercy said.

"Cove?" She shook her head. "Forest? You know the tops of the trees?" She shook her head agin. "Allysa did you have Violet try calling him?"

"Yes and he responded, but he didn't come to us."

"Where did it sound like it was coming from?"

"The village around the town square but we already checked there and he wasn't anywhere on the ground. Wait, is his tail in automaic?"

"Yes it is and so isn't on the gound. He's gotta be flying around Berk. Spread out, twins take the south side. Fishlegs take the west side, Snotlout and Allysa, sorry Allysa, but go to the east. Astrid, Mercy and I will go to the North." They all nodded their heads and flew off. I rode behind Astrid and Mercy rode behind me. It's actually amazing Stormfly can hold all of us. Usually a dragon can only hold 2 riders. We landed in a clearing and we all climbed off Stormly's back. Well, Mercy sort of fell of.

"Okay he usually hangs out in this part of the village when we aren't flying so spread out. Astrid take your axe and Mercy take Stormfly in case anything happens." They nodded their heads and stated walking in different directions. I used thr Night Fury call and waited for a response. I heard one after about 1 minute. It came from behind me, and kind of far. I called again and went closer towards the responses.

After about 5 minutes of walking, I called one more time. The response sounded like it was right above me, but I didn't see anything. I was in the town square. I looked around for Toothless. All the villagers were at their homes or the Great Hall, probably eating dinner and settling down for the night. I called one last time and looked around. The response came from my right side, where the statue of my father stood tall. I looked at it and saw a black shape on his shoulder.

"Toothless come on come down here bud." I said. he stood and glided down, landing in front of me. He had a tired look smeared across his face. "Come on, let's go home." I said. We walked home as the sun set, side by side.

Astrid's POV

I woke up in the morning wet and smelly. (ew). I opened my eyes and saw the signiature gummy grin.

"Toothless are you serious this does not wash out how many times do Hiccup and I have to tell you that?" I said and stood up. I got into a fresh change of clothes and walked downstairs. Toothless followed me down the stpes, then cut off my path to the kitchen. "You're hungry aren't you?" He smiled and wagged his tail. (completely off topic but HAPPY BIRTHDAY BAND GEEKS! you know that episode of spongebob? yeah just turned 13 today. i feel old.)

I fed him his normal basket of fish and Stormfly her normal bucket of chicken. I then went back inside and made myself breakfast before I realized I was alone. I figured Hiccup was gone doing chiefly things but where's Mercy? I checked her room and didn't see her. Just as I walked back downstairs, Valka walked in.

"Oh morning Valka. How are you?"

"I'm good you?"

"I can't find Mercy. Have you seen her?"

"Oh yes she's in the forge with Hiccup and Gobber making more of those fancy metal bows. They're selling like crazy. Everyone loves them!" She said happily. I smiled.

"That's awesome! Those bows were super impressive. I can't believe she degined those herself."

"Ah yes. She reminds me a lot of Hiccup. When he was little I would make Stoick carry him around so I could have a little break, and he would always take Hiccup to the forge and Hiccup got very curious about the designs and all the materials." She said and laughed. "Od course I would get mad at Stoick beacuse a forge no place for a baby."

"Yeah luckily Mercy knows what she's doing."

"Definitely. Oh by the way Hiccup wanted me to tell you he wants you to meet him at the forge. Says he has something important to tell you." She said and started walking for the door.

"Well I guess I should go put on a normal outfit then." I said. We both laughed and she left while I went upsatirs. I grabbed my spare red t-shirt and noticed that was covered in Toothless spit too. "Ugh great." I muttered under my breath. I looked around for anything I could wear, when I stumbled upon one of Hiccup's green long-sleeves. I shrugged and put it on. Oh wow no wonder he's never cold this is so warm. I put on my boots and walked to the forge. Once I walked in Gobber looked at me.

"Astrid who's shirt is that?" He asked. Hiccup peeked his head out from around a wall and smiled.

"Astrid why are you wearing my shirt?"

"Toothless got all of my red t-shirts all slobbery so I found this. I figured you wouldnt mind." I said. I went over to where he was. Once I got there he kissed my cheek.

"I don't mind at all. You actualy look very cute."

"This shirt is really warm. I might end up keeping this." I said.

"Oh feel free to I have so many of them it's ridiculous." He said.

"So what's this important news you had to tell me?"

"Oh I almost forgot. We have more visitors coming here."

"But I thought we already had Ethan and Agnes here who else is coming?"

"Well the Chief of the Hawk Tribe hasn't been seen on this island for a little while but Ethan and Agnes are still here."

"Well then where's the chief?"

"That's the weird part. No one knows. He might have left because their ship was gone too."

"Without his kids?" I asked flately. He shrugged.

"Hey it could happen."

"What right-mided parent leaves their kids on an island?"

"Apparently Anothony." He replied.

"I just think it's weird. Anyway, who's visiting?"

"Ah the outcasts want to pay their respects to my dad, you know since Dad and Alvin were friends, and some kingdom from a really far away place. I guess they want to make a peace treaty between us." He said and turned back to the metal.

 "What kingdom?"

"I don't remember what it's called but I guess they're bringing their enire family. I think the king said something about a girl our age and 3 boys."

"O hoyu're talking about DunBroch!" Gobber said. 

"Yes that's what it's called! Thank you Gobber." Hiccup said. "So they're coming. They should be here by next week."

"Okay then. Anything else I should know?"

"Well other then the fact that we just sold out of these new bows, I don't think so. Gobber am I forgetting anything else?" He said.

"Nope you've covered it all Hiccup." Gobber responded and closed the window.

"When are the outcasts coming?"

"Should be here within 2 days."

"No Dagur?"

"100% Dagur free."

"And you fully trust Alvin after he kidnapped you multiple times, chained and muzzled your dragon, and almost killed you?" I said.

"Thank you for summing that up. But yes, I do trust him. He's changed Astrid. Alvin is a different man."

"Okay but I'm not gonna trust him unitl he proves to me he's changed." I said and sat down on a stool, Well, tried to. I missed the top of the stool and fell onto the froge floor.

"Oh gods Astrid are you okay?" Hiccup asked and ran over and helped me up.

"Yeah I'm okay. I missed the stool." I said and smiled. I sat down, this time actually on the stool.

"You sure you're alright?"

"Yes. I'm a warrior we aren't afraid to take a fall." He smiled and returned to his work. I turned around an looked at his desk. It was covered in desgins of inventions.

I leafed through all of the pictures and once I got to the last layer of papers, it was all drawings. Drawings of Toothless, him and Toothless, Mercy and Toothless, him and Mercy, him and I, and one that was really beautiful. It was me, him, Toothless and Mercy. I looked at it and picked it up. I pinned it to him wall and kept looking through drawings. I found drawings of Stormfly and I flying in races, dumping sheep in our basket. I smiled, realizing this is what he always did in here.

"There's one in there that I think you might like." Hiccup said without turning around.. I kept looking through and found a stack. I looked through them and smiled as bright as he sun. It was pictures of Him and I together. Each time we talked, each time we sat togehter, and the most memorable moments of our relationship. 

"Is this what you're always doing?"

"Well designing things does get boring." He said. I looked behind him and notcied a chest under the table by his feet.

"What's in the chest?"

"Those are drawings that mom wanted done. Speaking of, do you think you can bring these to her house?" He asked and handed me the chest. I grabbed it from his hands.

"Sure. I'll be back in a litle bit." I said and walked out. I walked up the hill to Valka's house. She kept Hiccup's old house while Hiccup had our house built. I knocked on the door and after about 1 minute, Valka opened it with a grin.

"Oh hello Astrid. Can I help you with something?"

"Hi Valka, Hiccup wanted me to give you this." I said and gestured to the chest with my eyes.

"Oh perfect please come in." She said and stepped inside. I follwed her inside and set the chest down on a small table next to her chair.

"So may I ask what's in here?" I asked.

"Only if you tell me why you're wearing Hiccup's shirt." She said with a smaile.

"Oh this. Yeah Toothless got all my red shirts slobbery and disgusting sp I borrowed the from Hiccup."

"Ah I see. So you were curious about the chest?"

"Yeah. It seemed really important that it got here."

"Yes it is very important. I had Hiccup draw a few things for me. Feel free to open it up and look." She said and sat down. I sat down in a small chair and opened it up. It had drawings of Cloudjumper and her. And then ones that were incredibly beautiful. It was her and Stoick. I quickly packed them back in, in fear of damaging them. "How did they turn out?" She asked

"They're beautiful." I said quietly.

"Wonderful. Tell Hiccup I say thank you and that I greeatly appreciate his efforts." She said.

"I will." I said and walked back to the forge. It must've been horrible for Hiccup to draw those. But Valka seems happy, so I guess he was doing what would make his mom happy. I got backl and noticed him still huched over metal. He was putting them all together.

"How'd she like them?"

"She loves them and says thank you." I said.

"Perfect. You tired? I'm exhausted." He said.

"Well we've been in here most of the day." 

"Let's head home. We have a busy week ahead of us." He said and we walked back to the house.

I updated this chapter from my computer and it looks like everything is normal.

We'll see when I update.
