It's been a couple months since Branch was fired. Just like Poppy said they actually called Branch back saying that they got rid of Erect and that they shouldn't had fired him then offered him a promotion but, Branch already got new and better project to work on that pays a lot better. He even was made in charge of the whole design crew so Branch simply said "No".

It is Branch's birthday and Poppy can't wait to surprise him! As much as Branch seemed to be back to normal he still was had grey in his colours and was still sadly thinking about his Grandma from time to time but, he kept quiet about it cause. Branch wasn't mentally fully over it so his up coming birthday got him thinking about how this year his Grandma Rosiepuff wouldn't be there or sent him anything just say "Happy Birthday"...

Poppy knew that he needed a little help and lots of cheering up so she decided today will be the best birthday ever! She walks up and down checking almost every detail of the venue with a clipboard in her hands,Barb's castle throne room. Poppy basically had to beg Barb then make a deal with her in order use it as the venue. Sure Poppy have to bake Barb a chocolate pie on every Saturday and Sunday of next month but, this is for Branch.

The decorations are still be hanged up and adjusted. Poppy notices a skull with party hat near her which looked crooked so she turned it a little so it would face her. The skull is actually a prop from a movie that Barb bought a year ago but, Poppy always thought it looked crooked when she looked at how it was placed.

" Much better. ", Poppy comments satisfied.

" Hey Popsqueak?", Val' s voice says from behind Poppy.

The party planning troll turns around to see Val and Barb. Val seemed to have a something to say while Barb didn't. The Queen just moves the skull back to the way it was but, Poppy quickly moves it back to the way she liked it when Barb wasn't looking. The skull wasn't something she usually worried about but, she wanted every detail to be as perfect as possible.

" What's on your mind? You seem both more excited than usual and nervous... ", Val says honestly.

" Me? nervous? I don't know what your talking about. ", Poppy denies nervously.

Then Poppy grabs a random bottle of grape juice from the cooler and drinks it. She is trying avoid answering anymore. Barb folds her arms thinking that she might know what her nervousness coming from. Branch and Poppy hadn't told any of Hard Rock trolls friends about their relationship but, was mostly to do with Rosiepuff and her passing. They also forgetten about it a little but, they were planning to tell Val, Barb, Demo and Riff.

" I know you and Branch are dating... Is that what this is all about? ", Barb states blankly.

Poppy almost spits out her drink shocked that Barb knew but, after a couple seconds she swallows it down. It did partly have to do with the fact she is Branch's girlfriend but, that wasn't the main reason. She really wanted the party to be a success. The pink troll puts down the plastic bottle next to the movie prop.

" Well both yes and no. Me and Branch are together and I wanted to tell guys sooner but, that's not everything... Branch was really sad earlier about how this is his first birthday since his grandma you know so I really want to cheer him up by making this his best birthday ever! ", Poppy explains honestly and softly.

Barb and Val now understand more better why she was trying so hard to make the party perfect. Honestly Val and Barb weren't really upset about not finding out from her sooner. They knew how the whole situation was tough for both Branch and Poppy. Unknowingly Poppy starts playing with one of the charms on her bracelet. Her finger tips play with the angel charm.

" In that case we will help you out. There is no way we are letting you carry all that stress on your shoulders alone.", Barb says confidently.

" Oh Thank God. ", Poppy exclaims relieved.

The stress was killing her inside so it is a relief to know that she can give some of it to them. Poppy quickly rips her list into three parts and hands one to Val and Barb. They each have an equal list of responsiblities to do now. Poppy is actually almost done with hers.

" Okay. You can do all that while I go distract Branch and bring him here. He should be in our apartment by now. ", Poppy says happily.

" Good luck and by the way... Your shirt is caught on that hook behind you and nice tattoo. ", Barb says supportive and chill.

Poppy stopped playing with her bracelet and looks down her back. She can see her tattoo making an appearence. Her tattoo is a cartoon red poppy flower that is floating in shiny bubble that looks like a heart. The cartoony meeting realistic look to it makes it cute and look amazing. The tattoo has no meaning to it.

" Hate it when hooks do like that! ", Poppy complains under breath.

It is so annoying when you try walk away but, the hook is like "No" or "I'm gonna pull on your clothing". How does clothing even get hooked like that in the first place? Poppy unhappily unhooks her shirt then runs off greeting her friends in a rush. Val and Barb just watch quietly.

" If Branch doesn't appreciate her and breaks her heart then I'll burry him down into the ground alive when he is sleeping. ", Barb says with dark scary tone.

" Branch would never hurt her on purpose or anything like that and also do ya need a digging buddy for that?", Val adds blankly.

Barb knew Branch would never hurt Poppy but, she isn't afraid to put him in his place. Sometimes Barb can be the scary friend nobody wants mess with. Then Val looks at her list as Barb looks back at her skull adjusting it back to the way she liked it. She didn't care if it looked crooked. Barb wanted actually wants it to look like that so it will scare someone at night.

An couple hours later Poppy convinced Branch to leave their apartment with a blindfold over his eyes. She didn't want to ruin the surprise. Branch holds onto her hand tightly as she leads him into Barb's castle. He had that blindfold on since they left their apartment.

" Can I at least know where your taking me? ", Branch asks.

" No. That will ruin the whole surprise. ", Poppy says happily.

" But, It's been a half an hour. Shouldn't we be there already?", Branch says blankly.

" Trust me it is the worth the wait...", Poppy says proudly.

Then she Let's go of him in from of the closed doors to the throne room. The pink troll happily knocks the door in a form of code. Riff and Val open the doors widely showing the whole room in reponse. The party looks amazing and even their friends from Pop Village and Branch's parents are there.

" Now take off the blindfold. ", Poppy orders.

Branch takes it off pretty much tired of having it on. Everyone yells " Surprise! Happy Birthday Branch!" the second Branch sees them. Branch is completely blown away by the surprise party then looks at his girlfriend still processing everything. Poppy smiles at him with the happiest smile on her face.

" Happy Birthday, Branchie! ", Poppy wished happily.
