The match was in held in their collage only,  it was scheduled from 10.30 am to 12.15 pm. 

And they have their afternoon classes. 

Students started to move to the ground by 10.00 am. 

Mauhaan,  who are not interested in football,  usually go for a date during the match and it was Ragini,  who gives Sanskar company.

But the fact is that she herself loathed the game,  but she always watches his match so that he is not left alone.  She never shared this with her friends.

But today,  the scene is different.  Sanskar asked Mauhaan to go for a date like usual and said that he is going to watch the game. 

The trio left the class. 

Raglak were leaving the class and Ragini was lost in her thoughts.

Usually, Ragini stays with his team and cheers him,  she never sat in the gallery. But today,  how will she comfort him,  she hates the game! 

She looks front as saw Laksh moving in the opposite direction of the ground. 

She immediately holds his hand and pulled him back with such force that both of them fell on their back inside their class.

She turned towards Laksh and before he could say anything closed his mouth.

He was glaring her. 

What is this girl's problem,  if she wants to fall,  can't she fall alone,  why she made him fall too.  This was going through his mind.  He was about to scold her when she closed his mouth,  this increased his anger. 

Rag: Look I know,  you are in great mood to scold me,  you must be wondering why I made you fall.  And as you see I too fell down,  you must understand that I am not playing a prank on you.  I am not crazy to hurt myself. 

Lak: (in mind) it's your misconception if you think that you are not crazy!

Rag: So you must understand I did this for a purpose.

Lak: (mind)  there is even a purpose for falling down together!

Rag: Look,  Sanky is very upset that he is missing the match,  and I can't handle him today. I loath the game. 

She shook her head.

He looks on.

Rag: But yes,  you are not going to tell him about my dislike,  and today you have to handle him,  he will be in the ground with the rest of the team.  So we will go there and please talk to him something regarding the game sich that he would be able to watch the game without being upset. Please...

She kept a pleading face, 

For a second he was lost in her.

He shuddered and then nodded. 

He was about to go to the library,  the game was making him remember many things of his past,  all those happy moments those were associated with the game. 

Once lost,  all the happy memories appears painful in the present and this was happening with Laksh. 

There was a longingness in him to go the past and enjoy it!

But now,  when Ragini told him about Sanskar,  Laksh decided to go to him. 

Ragini smiles widely as he accepted it.   Her hand was still on his mouth,  he signed her through his eyes.

Rag: Oops,  sorry,  sorry sorry and thank you.  Come let's go.

With this she removed her hand,  both of them got up and left to the ground towards Sanskar.

Sanskar was sitting alone in a bench,  Laksh sat next to him and Ragini sat next to Laksh.

Rag: (in mind)  huh,  this stupid game again I am stuck here.

She made faces.

Sanskar,  who was looking at hr chuckled seeing her.

He knows that she doesn't like football, she always watches the game, just for him. 

The first time he noticed this,  he was about to discuss this with her but stopped seeing the happiness in her eyes.  She was happy that she was able to do something for him,  her best friend.  And Sanskar didn't have the mind to spoil it.  Also, her presence was always encouraging him. 

The game started,  Sanlak were very much disturbed.

Sanskar was upset as he was not playing, he was cursing himself. 

Laksh was getting reminded of his last, he fisted his hand tightly.  Then he remembered why he is here,  he looked at Sanskar. 

Laksh took a long breath.

Lak: Opponent team is really strong,

San: Yes,  I can see we are losing,  these guys are not defending properly!

Lak: hmm,  the central defender isn't doing good.

San: I was supposed to be that! 

That moment,  the opponent forward scored a goal by dodging the defender. 

San: Damn!!!  If it was me,

Lak: You would have dodged it!  But did you see Sanskar,  how efficiently that right forward dodged it,

San: Yes,  he has got skills. 

Laksh smiles, 

Lak: I assure you,  if you were playing,  you would not be able to analyze his skill. 

Sanskar looks at Laksh impressed,  he understood what he said. 

Laksh smiles. 

Lak: Sometimes,  you have to observe the match from outside,  it helps to improve your skill. 

Sanskar smiles. 

San: This is impressive,  you found a good thing in the bad situation.

Laksh smiles,  he remembers once he himself said what Sanskar said now. 

He smiles remembering the reply he got. He repeated the same.

Lak: Things are not bad or good as it's own,  it's our perceptive that makes this good and bad.  And if you look in, most cases you can find a good thing in a bad situation.

Laksh was told that always he can find a good in bad situations,  but his own experience proved him that it's not always true because there is no good outcome from his miserable past!

His eyes turn glassy. 

Sanskar noticed this.

San: you okay?

Lak: Ye,  yes, I am.

Sanskar nodes. 

San: Now say this,  form where did you get this knowledge from.

Laksh again chuckles,  this was the same he asked in past.

Lak: Source doesn't matter,  it's the knowledge that does,  if it's good,  take it from wherever you get it.

He repeated the answer he received.

They smile,  Sanskar then concentrated on the game whereas Laksh was lost in his thoughts.

The match got over and their college team lost the game. 

San: I should move quickly before the coach catches me.  Bye.

Sanskar stood up and tried to move from there fastly,  but his leg was paining and he was about to fall.

Raglak held him from both sides.

Sanskar smiles widely,  one side it was his best friend and another side his love.  He left blessed.  Raglak escorted him to the canteen. 

Only then Ragini noticed Laksh,  he was again lost in his misery.

Rag: ( in mind)  Damn Ragini,  you are such an idiot,  you forgot Laksh's misery in front of Sanskar's misery.  Arrey,  even after being so good in football,  he didn't participate in the selection trials.  That means he has some unfavourable incidents related to it and you asked him to console Sanskar. 

She sighs.

Rag: (in mind)  No worries Laksh,  I am responsible for this present state of yours,  hence I will only get you out of this.  But how!!!  Think, Ragini think... 

She thought of something and smiles.

By then they reached canteen. 

Rag: I will get food.

She comes back with a tensed face.  Laksh was in his own world and didn't notice her. 

Sanskar was about to question her,  but she signs him about Laksh and winks. 

He smiles back.

San: Ragini,  why are you upset? 

Rag: A big problem!!  The day before yesterday Aru asked me a tricky question and gave me time till today evening to get the answer.  I somehow need the answer, but I am not getting it. Yesterday I asked the whole class about it, no one knows, and now you both have to help me. Otherwise!! 

San: Yeah,  I know the seriousness,

Rag: yes, it's the matter of my pride!

San: Okay,  say the question.

Laksh was silent all the while.

Rag: It's something that happened in a hospital.  Every patient who is admitted in the ICU is found dead after a night.  Like,  if a patient is admitted today,  he would be dead by tomorrow morning. This happened for five patients in a row.  And this made the management and the state shocked.  How is it possible that none of them survived more than a day. The security was tight, the patient was alone inside the room and the nurse was outside, so as to avoid infection.  The patient calls for the nurse using the alarm. The only person who entered inside was the one who does the cleaning and he was a trusted man.  Then this repeated for another five times irrespective of the medications given. After the death of the tenth patient,  the staff and management panicked to hell.  Even though they were medical people,  he suspected it's some supernatural force.

Lak: what non-sense,  how can it be because of supernatural forces?  And why didn't they kept CCTV cameras? 

Rag: hmm, no one enters inside right,  so they thought it's supernatural only, otherwise you say,  how all the ten patients were dead? 

Laksh didn't have an answer to it.

Sanskar chuckled mentally,  so Laksh is trapped in Ragini's plan.

Lak: So is this the question? 

Rag: yes, but there is more to it, 

Lak: you mean?

Rag: As I said since they suspected the intervention of supernatural forces,  they did exorcism,  but still the same repeated.  They changed the ICU room,  still no change.  And one thing was common,  the deaths happened between 12.00 and 1.00 am.  Finally, they installed CCTV cameras and they found out the cause of death.  So what is the cause of death? 

Lak: This is indeed tricky! 

Rag: I know but please guys, you must find the answer by evening... Please please, please. 

Laksh nods absentmindedly.

Ragsan smile seeing him and signed each other.

Throughout the afternoon session,  Laksh thought about this,  he was not getting an answer. Now he was very curious to know what happened inside the ICU. 

His head started to spin by the end of the class,  his curiosity has reached its peak.

Ragini was about to leave when Laksh called her. 

Lak: I am sorry Ragini,  I didn't get the answer,  but once you get the answer,  share it with me also.  I am so curious.

His curiosity was evident in his eyes.

Ragini looked at him tensed. 

Rag: Actually Laksh,  I know the answer.

Lak: what you know then share it with me.

He was too curious that he didn't realize that she lied earlier. 

Rag: (fastly)  It was the cleaner,  he in his ignorance,  removed the plug of an oxygen cylinder and connected the vacuum cleaner for cleaning.  By the time he connected the oxygen cylinder back, the patient was dead.

Ragini ran from there saying this. 

It took a moment for Laksh to understand what she said and when he did, 

Lak: WHAT THE HELL,!!
