Revelation time,  remember I said Laksh's character was inspired from a serial character. So that's Aakash from Everest serial. He lost a friend in an accident when they were covering a controversial news,  he being photographer and his friend a journalist. I used that for Laksh and Aaditya here. And in the serial,  while they are on mission Everest,  Anjali,  heroine and his love interest, gets stuck on a cliff of Everest when they are about reach the summit.  Thus the scene that follows  till Laksh saving Ragini, is as such taken from the serial.

Bit dramatic this is,  rather filmy.

Laksh felt like he is in loss of oxygen,  again in the same situation,  again with someone dear and again because of his mistake.  If only he didn't scare her,  she would have been fine,  but now she is hanging down a cliff,  all because of his fault.  He is going to lose on more important person just like he lost Adi.  No!!   He can't,  but how is he supposed to save her,  after all he is a weak loser. If not he would have saved Adi. How hard he wished for another chance,  where he could save him. But... He closed his eyes. 

Ragini could feel the pain in her hands,  she felt like she is losing her grip and Laksh was in shock. She could imagine what he ia going through. 

"LAKSH" she shouted.

He opened his eyes. But to his shock instead of Ragini he found Adi hanging down.

"Lucky come on pull me up." Adi encouraged him.

Laksh was speechless.

"What don't you want to save me?  " Adi was smiling.

Laksh nodded eagerly,  like hia life depended on that.

"Then come on,  just pull me up,  you are strong enough,  don't forget,  you always give me piggy back rides. " Adi winked at him encouraging him.

Laksh took a deep breath and with all his might,  he pulled him up.  He never felt so relieved to see Adi ever in his life.  He saved him, he saved his friend.

"Lucky,  whatever happened that day was not your fault. We had sit in even higher altitudes and nothing happened then.  And you didn't push me down that day Lucky.  We were teasing each other.  But when I could see you losing your strength,  I knew I wouldn't survive but along with that will take you down with me. I would never want that Lucky.  That's why I left your hand.  You would have done same,  don't you? ". He looked at Laksh.

" I would have,  but that doesn't justify the vaccum your absence created in all our lives and I can't help but blame myself for that. " Laksh confessed.  He was feeling good talking to Adi after this long.

" It was not your fault,  it is just that my time was up.  Remember the story of merchant and death." Adi winked again.

Laksh sighed " the merchant who was afraid to die."

"Death was surprised to see him in London that morning and told him tonight he would die!" Adi continued.

"Merchant wanted to hide from death,  so went to hide is Albania. But death found him by night. " Laksh sighed.

"Merchant asked him if you were to find me,  then why did you look surprised in the morning". Adi encouraged him.

"I was surprised to see you at London today morning because I had an appointment with you at Albania tonight , death answered.". Laksh concluded.

"That's it Lucky,  it was fate, it was bound to happen.  But now release me,  I can't be free till you hold this regret inside you.  That too for something which was out of your reach.  There were many moments after my death where I felt like consoling you,  but I can't.  I felt very helpless.  Don't increase my misery anymore. Free me Laksh.  Just like you accepted my death,  accept the fact that you are not responsible for it. Free both of ys Lucky. " Adi patted his shoulder and then hugged him. 

"Save Ragini,  she is waiting for you". With that Adi was gone.

'LAKSH' Laksh opened his eyes hearing Ragini shouting. Only to realise all the things that happened between him and Adi happened inside his head,  in a moment and then soon Ragini called him he opened his eyes. 

He remembered Adi asking him to save her.  With new courage,  Laksh pulled Ragini up. 

Soon after he pulled her up,  they hugged each other and Ragini started to cry.  She had seen her death in her front.  Those moments she hanged down,  she has accepted her death,  but that killed her. She was not ready to die yet,  she felt like she would regret,  she has many undone things,  all her loved ones faces came one after the other through her head.  She panicked.  Now that she is safe,  she let out her emotions. She wanted to free herself from these emotions.

Laksh looked down the cliff and he was not scared anymore. He smiles widely.  That's even he realised his shirt was getting wet with Ragini's tears.  He couldn't imagine what has experienced right now.

"Hey hey,  relax,  its all fine. You are alright.  It was just a nightmare.  You are safe now ". He tried to console her.

Ragini tightened her grip on his shirt.  Laksh kept patting her head and whispered sweet nothings in her ear. 

Finally after a long,  she calmed down. He smile widely and kissed on her temple.

That was when both realised what they were doing. They immediately broke the hug and both felt they lost the warm and calm feeling they felt just before. Neither looked at each other.  It was so awkward.

Laksh sighed " you okay?".

Ragini nodded. "Sh shall we leave?".

" I will come in a while,  here take this ". He passed her the food he packed. 

She took it from him " okay then I am leaving ".

He nodded she started to walk down the cliff and he turned to look down the depth of the cliff. 

Ragini turned back and saw him looking down.  It's great that you can look down now,  looks like you overcome your fear.  I feel so happy that I was able to help you.  I don't know how mad it is to feel that I can put my life in danger for any number of times so as to see you smile and relax.  I love you so very much Laksh.. This accident made me realise the depth of my feelings.  I wish I could confess to you.  I don't know how am I going to be in your presence anymore.  I can't hold this back Laksh. I just can't.

She cried and ran down,  she need to talk to someone. 

Laksh looked back and saw that she left.  Those moments when you were in my arms,  I never felt that peaceful ever. Nor I doubt I will it ever. How I wish I could just confess my feelings. This is overwhelming for me now Ragini.  You mean so much for me,  and see,  just because of you,  I could fight this fear of mine.. Take out this guilt of mine. Thank you so much love. He chuckled.  How I wish I could call you that. I love you so much Ragini.  I don't think I can hold back anymore.
He rubbed his forehead frustrated.

Ragini reached Ishaan's house in a hurry and ran to his room without caring the surroundings.  She needed him then and that was all she cared.  As soon as see she saw him,  she hugged him tightly, burring her head in his chest,  she ignored,  rather it went unnoticed by her that he wasn't alone in that room.

Ishaan was shaken by her sudden hig,  but soon recovered and hugged her back.

"Hey relax". He caressed her back.

"I can't,  I just can't,  Ishaan,  there is something I haven't told you.  I..  I love Laksh. I realised it when I saw him breaking down after that competition. And today,  after recovering from the mouth of death,  I.. I.... Don't think I can hold back my feelings anymore. " she cried.

"Mouth of death?  What do you mean? ". Ishaan was shocked. 

"When Laksh came to find me,  I was on the top of a cliff,  I lost my balance and then Laksh saved me.  But the moments I was hanging down,  I felt regret as I haven't confessed my feelings to Laksh yet. I am fine by the way.  I never planned to confess my feelings for Laksh,  not after what happened with me and Sanskar.  But now.. I am finding it so hard,  I don't think I can hide it anymore. But I don't want to say it either. What should I do!! ". She cried harder.

Ishaan was speechless.  He patted on her shoulder.

"But Ishaan,  promise me that you won't say about my feelings to anyone. I don't want Sanskar to know about that. It would be cruel,  it might kill him to know that the girl he loves loves his best friend. " she said,  hee head still buried in his chest.

Ishaan sighed.  " it's too late now. ".

He broke the hug and turned Ragini around.  And she came in face with Sanskar himself.
