New Friends and More
"Two more days till homecoming!" Ace smiles at Robin's statement. The two girls sat in homeroom, talking. A friend of Ace would be arriving soon. Ace couldn't wait until she got here. She was telling Robin about her as the girl walks in.
"Georgia Barton, you are looking fine." Ace comments. The girl wore a red plaid shirt and jean shorts, her blonde hair in a bun. Her bright blue eyes twinkled in amusement.
"Why thanks you, Acelia Rogers." Georgia says majestically. The Barton girl sits next to her friend, looking at Robin. "You must be Robin. Name's Georgia." She says with a smile.
"Hey. Glad you could come." Robin smiles. She spots Flash staring, mouth-open, at the girl. Robin shoots the boy a wink. Ace catches it and rolls her eyes. Just then, the bell rings and the girls run off to get their books.
Robin jumps as a rose falls out of her locker. She finds a note attached. Curious, she opens it.
"A rose not nearly as sweet as you.
For the next clue, search high and low for your favorite book."
Robin smiles. She always liked scavenger hunts, and this person knew a lot about her. After 1st hour, she runs to the library. Finding the book, she opens it. In the front cover lay a picture from the day she, Peter, Ace, Shawn, and Ned had gone to the lake in Central Park. Robin remembers how she and Peter mistook a rubber ducky for a duckling and were upset when an eagle had snatched it out of the lake. The next note lay in the corner, reading:
"Never forget early memories.
Where did you make your first masterpiece?"
Second hour ends and Robin's off to the art room. She locates the canvas she uses, finding a teddy bear resting on top. A note was tied around its foot.
"Only to cuddle when I'm not there.
Look at your phone for the next sweet clue."
Robin opens her phone, looking at her wallpaper. The picture shows Peter, Shawn, Ace, and her goofing off in the gym. She books it there after 4th period. She finds a giant Hershey's kiss on the bleachers. The note reads.
"Turn around."
Robin turns. Shawn stands behind her, a bouquet of roses in hand. She blushes.
"You did this, didn't you?" Shawn nods. "Why?"
"I want to ask you to go to homecoming with me." Robin smiles, accepting the roses from Shawn.
"I would love to."

"...and so he asked me to homecoming." Ace smiles as Robin explains.
"That's so sweet." Georgia says. The whole group minus Shawn sat at their lunch table. Ace sat on one side with Peter and Ned, Georgia, and Robin sat on the other. They were talking when Robin spots Alyssa Hanks. The girl had been moving houses and hadn't been able to come to school. She wore a flower shirt and jean shorts, sandals laced on her feet. Robin had told the others about her, but she never mentioned Alyssa's childhood crush on Peter that still existed. She shoves it off to go see Alyssa.
"Hi, Lys!" Robin hugs the girl.
"Hey, Robin." Robin notices how Alyssa looks back at Ace and Peter. Ace was laughing about something, and Peter had a dreamy look. "Who's that?"
"That's Acelia Rogers. The blonde girl is Georgia Barton. They and Shawn are new to school this year." Alyssa nods, knowing of Shawn. Robin grips her hand. "Let's go meet them." The other two girls look up as they near. "Ace, Georgia, this is Alyssa. She grew up with Ned, Peter, and me."
"Hi." Both girls wave. Alyssa slides in next to Peter with a smile. Ace looks at Robin in question.
"How are you, Peter?" Alyssa asks.
"Doing pretty good. Homecoming's soon." He says.
"You going with anyone?" Robin notices how Alyssa scoots closer to Peter. He doesn't notice, but nods.
"I'm taking Ace." Alyssa turns red at the statement. Before she can say anything, Ned speaks up.
"Alyssa, why don't you come with me?" The boy asks.
"Oh...okay. Sure, Ned." Lys says hesitantly. Ned smiles. Ace turns to Georgia.
"Are you going with anyone?" The girl shakes her head.
"No one's asked me yet. I might not go." Ace grips Georgia's hand.
"You could just hang out with us if you do. We'll have fun." Georgia smiles.
"Thanks."

"I want to ask Georgia to homecoming, but how?" Homecoming was tomorrow night, and Flash still hadn't asked Georgia. Robin watches as the boy paces the floor.
"Well, she's very country. Get her something like that." Robin says. Flash jumps up.
"Of course! I'll get her some wildflowers! Thanks, Robin!"

Georgia turns from her locker at her name. Flash stands behind her, a bouquet of wildflowers in hand.
"Um...I was...was wondering if you...would go to homecoming...with me." Flash shifts on his feet nervously. Georgia smiles. Reaching out, she takes the flowers.
"I would love to."
