WH: just out on a walk

James: I've got enough 

WH: i'm not getting your opium right now. i'm on a walk

James: I know you well enough, Will. 

WH: i don't want it to somehow suddenly run out. i'll be back in a minute

James: why, Will?

WH: James, I can't live without you. Every night I get scared about opium disappearing from the market. I'm getting a big stash today. I'm not going to lose you, James.

James: you're too kind. please come back home

WH: I need to get this James or I won't be able to rest. i NEED to get it for you

James: you had a nightmare?

James: Will, answer me

James: William Owen Herondale, reply right now

WH: how did you know

James: I felt it and it's not often you go for walks at 2 in the night

James: I should've never become your parabatai... you deserve better... you deserve someone you don't have to be so responsible for. I'm sorry, Will.

WH: That's why you think i get all this for you? you think i feel responsible because you're my parabatai?!! 

WH: James, i love you. i do this for you because i need you to live. i do this because as long as you live i'll have someone to remind me i'm not bad. as long as you live, i'll know i'm loved. you're the one place where i can see the better me, James. i can't lose you. i had a nightmare about losing you because the market running out of opium. i couldn't bear it so i decided that i'd get a whole stash. i know it'd annoy you but i couldn't deal with the nightmare. i can't ever deal with losing you, James. I need you to live.

James: i love you too, will. you're the best parabatai i could ask for. you have a lot of good in you that you just need to find, Will.  Can you promise me something?

WH: anything

James: meet me at our place by the bridge and i don't want you going to get opium unless i really need it, okay? i can't even face that place, but it's worse when i know you're bearing that for me. promise me that next time you have a nightmare you'll tell me and wake me up. 

WH: I promise. i'll see you by the bridge.. i need to talk to you.

James: thank you for admitting that. don't get opium yet. i've got enough for another month. promise me. 

WH: I promise.

James: I love you, parabatai. see you in a minute

WH: I love you too, parabatai. 

James: i'll be there in a few

WH: I'm waiting. i always will for you

James: I know.
