*Sierra*

"Conrad..." I say, my eyes growing large. I stare at the festivities all around me. It's odd, it's almost as if I expected to see him.

"You okay?" Mama asks.

I rub my head. "Y-yeah. It's just, that name rung a bell."

Mama eyes fall on my golden wheel necklace. It had been a gift from her.

"How about you, Mama?" I ask.

She turns away. "I-it's nothing. Let's go look for your dad and siblings. Maybe I can find your friend too while looking for them. Wait here, I'm going to go look from up high. If any stranger approaches you, do not talk to them, alright?"

"I got it, Mama!" I say, smiling. I watch as she jumps several feet into the air and spreads her wings before gravity can pull her back into the crowd around us.

Mama is so amazing! Just like Alma's knight!

I gasp and jump as something pokes me from behind. I raise tiny pebbles around me, but keep them close to the ground so that whoever is behind me doesn't notice. I'm ready to fight should I need to. I just hope that I don't have to.

*Ashi*

"So Yuko kissed Tetsuya?" Keiko asks, chuckling.

Pa nods. "Y-yeah, she did."

I giggle as we make our way to one of the tallest pagoda's around. "Yuko sure is brave!"

"Brave? More like foolish. Who falls in love with a guy like him?" Kairi asked, snickering.

I grumble. "You remind me of Eiichi."

Kairi smiles. "Not surprised that I do. Mom says the same thing."

"Yeah, she does," the blond boy, Aerkain says, narrowing his eyes at him.

I gasp. "Wait, are you..."

Suddenly the crowd starts to push against me, causing me to lose my grasp on Pa's hand.

"Ashi!" Pa screams as I'm pulled away by the swarm of people going the opposite direction.

"Pa!" I yell as I try to move past the various people. I take deep breaths. I... I have never been around so many people before. Less so directly among them. It... it was suffocating. Literally.

I hold out my hand and close my eyes. "Pa..."

Suddenly, someone grabs my extended hand. I open my eyes and see a white haired boy around my height donning a fox mask.

"Follow me," he says in a cool tone. He turns around as soon as he notices I'm not following. "Don't you want to reunite with your dad?"

W-who is this kid? H-how does he know that I got separated from my pa?

I gulp as I stare at the fox mask. H-he isn't a spirit, is he?
