I was getting ready for the party I felt a burning senses I knew it was the tattoo that was on my side it came 2 years ago when I first turned 16 but it wasn't fully developed last year was the year that it formed in to a golden lion,

I wanted to ask my mother about it but I thought no to, this year the golden color started to fade and turn white. As I look at my side I see that the lion has gotten darker then it was the other day,

I wonder to myself what is going on I put on my shirt right before my sister burst through the door.

"Brotherly" I look up to see my sister

"yes Maddy" I roll my eyes"

"Where's your maid I have a dress pick out for her." she tells me that struck a nerve in me.

"She's not wearing a dress tonight; she wears what I tell her to."

"But I don't get it you let Gabriella wear a dress tonight why can't see?"

"I'm the Alpha and I say so."

"Listen that's just a title given to you I know the real you." that's all she said before she walked out.

Not too long after my sister left, my mother came in, holding a piece of paper in her hand, she handed me the letter as I read the words,

We'll be coming for her on the next full moons.

"Josh what are they talking about?" My mother asked. I closed my eyes and let out a huge sigh.

I went to Misty mother house that day she woke up because she send me a letter saying that she needs to talk to me.

She told me everything what I need to know about her, and that's why I don't trust her. I say gritting my teeth, but she also said that she's in great danger, they found out that she's alive and they want her."

"Who want her Josh my mother was now holding her heart, and why? She never told me why, I mumbled.

"Then who wants her?" I look to my mother without blinking.

"The Hunters"

"I don't understand why would human want a human?"

"Mother please."

"No you're not telling me everything and I want to hear it from you."

"Okay, okay, okay," I say to her, they are not your average hunters, these are not human hunters, their wolf hunters," I tell her.

"Josh there's no such thing as wolf hunters," my mother says still confused.

"Mother, they called wear hunters, and they don't really hunt humans unless they are trying to kill our kind,

"Her mother, well the woman that raised her, said,"- I didn't have time to finish, when I heard a voice at the door.

"Theirs my Nephew" I heard someone call, I look up to see my uncle Jonah, he walks over to me giving me a hug, nice to see you again I tell him, smiling.

"Hi Josh would you mind if I talk to your mother alone.

"Go ahead" I say walking out, to find out where Misty the Maid went.

Jonah walks over to Josh's mother, "How have you been sister in law?

"I have been doing well, she says, she says giving him a hug.

She looks at him, so why are you here?

"I can't come and say hi to my sister in law it's been years since I last saw you."

She give him a look that have him laughing.

"I head everything Josh was saying this so called girl is his mate?" he asked.

She took a deep breath trying not to cry, "Yes it's his mate, I'm happy for him but I'm also scared for him. Either she can save him or destroy him more."

"Jonah let out a laugh "how old is Josh?"

"He just turned 18."She replies

"Bethany Then it's time that you go to him," I tell her "because if he has a mate that can be dangerous for him and for her."

"Bethany I'm not trying to scare you but I'm trying to help you and you know the only one with all the answer you need not too far away." He tells her walking to the door.

"Jonah" she calls out his name and he turns around.

"I will need you to go with me, I would ask Mark but he has a lot of paper work," she says.

He gives her a node of his head walking back down to the party.

I watched everyone having a good time laughing and dancing at the party, so I went into the kitchen to eat my plate of food in peace away from the music.

I don't know why I was thinking about jet, but he has been on my mind lately. Just thinking about the way he treats me makes me wonder why he hates me so much, I never did anything to him.

I was pulled out of my thought when a little girl entered the kitchen.

She looked around 5 or 6 years old with long brownish hair and those eyes reminded me so much of his.

I smiled at the little girl who came up to me.

"Hi, my name is April she smiles."

"April is such a pretty name, I always wanted my mother to name me April when I was your age.

I always thought it was such a beautiful name."

"What is your name, April asked me.

"Misty, I say smiling"

"That's pretty too," she gleams showing me all her teeth.it was quite for a moment then she spoke.

"So you're my brother's mate," she said as I was just about to take a bite out of my fruit.

Looking at her, "how do you know about mates I asked her," thinking she's too young to know about this type of thing.

"The man told me she said plainly.

"What man?", I asked puzzled.

When we came back today there was a man in my room. He told me to hand this to the mate of my brother Josh, Misty."

I didn't know what to do at the moment was he still here and why she didn't tell her brother or, anyone in the house my heart begin to race, as she handed me the note.

I slowly unfolded the letter and read it,

Misty, I know everything about you who you are and what secret you hold,

If you try to tell anyone, especially your mate, I'm pretty sure that he won't be fond of our little secret. He will love to hear about how you killed their kind. I'm watching you and I will know your every move, so if you try anything I will kill your mother and dear brother.

P.S she's allergic to peanuts

Folding the note and putting it away what do he mean she's allergic to nuts,

I hear a bag of candy rattle looking over to April "oh Gosh" I look at April eating m&m's with peanuts in them.

My heart stopped when I saw she was gasping for help, I ran to her laying her down on the floor, blowing most of my air, into her lungs, I couldn't think of anybody name, but his so I started yelling from the top of my lungs, trying to pull myself together, this is all my fault I have to tell them, everything including the werewolf I killed.
