Misty pov

I lay on the bed at the nurse, hoping someone would come for me. Terrance dropped me off before he left.

I was sitting in class doing my work when I got a weird feeling, trying to figure out what is going on I felt a pain in my side, I let out a small yap, having Terrance turn around looking at me weird I didn't know what was happing I soon felt another pain holding my head I looked at Terrance, not before blood started coming from my mouth.

Terrance rushed over to Misty with Damien by his side he tells Damien to get the pack members, and just then there was a cry from Josh that all their heads turning in the direction of the pack house.

Terrance didn't have enough time so he picked Misty up bridle style running out of the school with the other right on his trail hearing them shift into their wolf form.

When he arrived at the pack house he quickly handed Misty to the pack doctor, he was faster than the others but he had no time to waste. He shifted in to his white wolf just in time before the red wolf tried to kill him.

Terrance lunged for the wolf knocking him off of Josh and the two begin fighting, moments later Damien came lunging for the brown on who tried to make a kill at Terrance.

The fighting went on and soon the rest of the pack joined in, Mike and Chance helped Josh get out the room, it didn't take long to kill the 2 wolfs, the other 2 ran off right before Terrance stepped foot into the room. Shifting back and putting on gym shorts he headed out the room to go check on Josh.

Josh pov

As I enter the pack doctor Candace smiled at me, I thank Mike and Chance for helping me, they soon leave after. Candace looks at me with a sad look before tending to the other person that's next to me,
" say what you have to say Candace" she doesn't reply at first, getting frustrated,

"Speak" I use my Alpha voice.

"I was wounding where on earth did this girl get her bruises from, but now I can see."

"What girl?"

Is she your mate, the maid?" she raised her eyebrow I couldn't lie to her Candace was like a second mother to me, so I just stayed silence. She took my silence as a yes but said nothing more.

"Wait what do you mean, what bruises did she get I asked her?"

"A human shouldn't feel what a werewolf's feel, so I have no ideas how she is feeling your pain, unless you rejected her or you haven't claimed her."

Why haven't you claimed her yet she asked in a whisper, trying not to wake Misty.

"Listen if you don't want her reject her." she will be hurt but another person will come and she will forget all about you.

"Forget all about me?"

"Yes, if a human is ever rejected by a wolf they will never know of their existence.

In your case she would have no memory of you, or keeping her around and not claiming her can be Just as worse,

"How can that be," I asked her. This is something I'm just founding out.

"You're telling me either way, I'll hurt myself more then I will harm her?"

"I never said that, you two are still young you will figure things out along the way."

Candace had just finished bandaging my leg,

"Candace I got a letter." She didn't say anything as if she was waiting for me to continue.

"It said that we we'll be coming for her on the next full moons."

"Don't read too deep into things" she says without looking at me."

"You should know these things you are a wit-"she cut me off"

"Do not call me that i told you to call me The Gifted One, "she tells me, yea she came up with that herself. She said that witches cast spells; on the other hand she has to use a spell book.

And she will "the blood doesn't make me, I make me" I still never understood what she meant by that.

"Candace what do you mean"

"You're a smart boy you will figure it out."

"Why want you just tell me." I plead with her."

"Your mate needs her rest now." She walks away and I decide to leave the pack doctor and head to the living area.

I fell on the chair closing my eyes, then I head a laugher that made me freeze, it's been so long since I heard that laugh it has to be no one other than,

"Did you miss me?"

"Delton." He laughs "The one and only."

"I thought Candace's locked you away."

"Oh she did I just manage to slip through" he tell me laughing,

I know most of you are wondering, Delton is the worse side of me he's my wolf, I'm already bad by myself but Delton is worse and with us together we will wreak the town That's why Candace spelled him to keep him locked away but somehow he manage to slip through.

I close my eyes and start to talk to Delton, "tell me what you think the letter means."

"No let's start from the top, when you found, Lily,

"Her name is Misty," I tell him rolling my eyes.

"She looks more like a lily," she's a lily in the in the valley

"That should have been her name Valley.

"Delton shut up,"

"I don't know who you're talking to Josh together we will burn this whole house down and not a care in the world. "Do you want that to happen Josh?" so please talk to me again in that kind of tone.

Delton let out a sigh "It's something about her that doesn't feel right, I don't trust her."

"Why don't you trust her?"

"It feels like she's hiding something?" he tells me

"Don't we all have secrets?"

"Yea but I just don't like her." he snarls at me

"But she's your mate."

"She can be my mate don't mean i have to like her, I won't rest till I find out what she's hiding."
