"Really doll? Do ya need to ask?" Bucky said then kissed my cheek.

"Buck's right, " Steve said then embraced me from behind.

I leaned into Steve, taking in his warmth. That alone made me feel better at the moment.

"I wish it was true guys, but you're not real. I wish you were cause you two are the best a girl could ask for," I said.

And just like that they were gone, and I was alone again.

This has been what the last couple weeks have been. I've pushed away the fictional characters that gave me comfort. So here I am sitting by myself at a table outside.

"Is there anybody sitting here?" A cute guy tapped my shoulder and asked.

I pulled my earbud out and he repeated what he said.

"Nope. You can sit here, I don't mind."

"Cool. Thanks."

"No problem."

That was the extent of our conversation as we were both working on our homework in peace until I had to go to class.

"Come on doll," Bucky groaned when I was far away.

"No." I said.

"But you-"

"I was being nice, and I miss talking with you and Stevie," 

"Who's fault is that?"

"I know and I'm sorry. Please come back to me?" I asked.

"We're always with you sweetheart," Steve said then kissed my cheek.

"Always," Bucky said and held my hand.
