"Come on Bucky! Let's dance!" You said to your boyfriend of two years.

"No." He's been brooding all day and it's been bothering you since he won't tell you what's wrong.

"Please Bucky. For me?" You said while giving him puppy dog eyes.

"Damn it (y/n)! You know that I can't resist those eyes!"

"Yup. Now come and dance with me!" You cheered victoriously as he walked over to you and turned on some old 40's music. He grabbed your waist and pulled you close as you swayed back and forth for a couple minutes. That song ended and the next one was a fast paced one, so the two of you began to swing dance. Since his memories have been coming back, it's been nice for him to be able to do little things like this to help him. You were dancing for a couple hours until Bucky went down on one knee. You gasped at the sight as your eyes teared up as well.

"(Y/n) (l/n), You've been with me on this entire journey of bringing me back. Through this time I fell so hard for you, that you are the only thing on my mind at any point in time. You keep him in check and show me that I am loved and I always have been. I can't tell you enough how much you mean to me doll. But I hope this helps, so (Y/n) will you marry me?" He said as you grabbed his face and kissed him. Bucky smiled against your lips as you had agreed to marry him. This brought him the happiness that could only be felt if you were near him. Every ounce of him was for you and same with you.
