"Bucky?" You asked as you entered into your shared apartment with your boyfriend of two and a half years. You didn't get a response, your mind went to the worst case scenario. He relapsed and was thinking that he was the Winter Soldier again. Franticly searching the apartment you find a note on the vanity in your shared bedroom.

Dear (y/n),

Sorry to scare you, but I have a suprise for you today. My Angel you need to be ready by 5:30 so Steve can take you to the secret location. No need to dress up, cause you are all that I need.

Damn him. Making you all flustered with out talking to you. Seeing that it was already 5:00 you changed out of your work clothes and put on a (f/band) shirt with a (f/c) flannel on top. Skinny jeans and military boots. Touched up your hair and makeup. By the time that you were done it was 5:15 so you ran to the couch and finished the episode of (f/tv show) that you started last night with Bucky. He'll have to watch it later. You didn't even hear Steve knock on the door, nor realize that he was there until he gently shook your shoulder.

"Come on (y/n)! Bucky is waiting for you." Steve said as he brought you outside and to his motorcycle. You gave him a questioning look as he drove you to a park outside of town. He said goodbye and left you to wonder what is going on. You began walking on the trail to discover at the first intersection, Bucky was there with a big smile on his face. You ran up to him and nearly tackled him with your hug.

"Follow me." Bucky said as he pulled you down a path. The trees formed a tunnel as there were ferns and a few flowers on the edge of the trail. You two were walking at a comfortable pace while holding onto him. It was simple small talk on how each others day went, until you reached a clearing with a creek running through it.

"It's beautiful." You said in awe. Bucky lightly grabbed you hands and turned you to face him. He was down on one knee. You were speechless as he began to speak.

"Just like you doll. (Y/full name), you have made me the luckiest man alive. You took care of me through thick and thin, and most importantly you believed in me. Doll, you've been there for me for so long that I just can't lose you ever. I've lost too much in my lifetime, but now I want that to change. So (y/full name), will you marry me?" He asked as he pulled out a simple diamond ring with a silver band. You were so overwhelmed with emotion that you nearly yelled,

"James Buchanan Barnes why would you think I wouldn't!" He smiled his cheeky grin that made your heart melt as the two of you kissed. There was cheering and clapping. You were wondering who else would be here, but then you heard a familiar billionaire's voice cut through the others.

"Time to celebrate! After this goes online." Tony exclaimed while you and your fiancé shared another passionate kiss. The rest of the night was spent celebrating with the Avengers, old and new.
