Here's a random au I made while zoned out in class

So in this au Joe has lived for a long time, he's definitely lived longer then he's supposed to. This is because throughout his life he's made many different deals with different deities (gods, demons, vex, watchers, etc) some of which increased his lifespan (he is not immortal though). He has definitely also made deals for other things such as powers, artifacts, his/someone else's soul, or protecting someone else's life. He does this by somehow managing to convince almost every magical being in existence to change the deal to make it in his favour with his words alone. Because of this Joe is known as The Wordsmith and is often thought of to be a myth amongst the magic community.

One day in the heat of the moment in order to protect someone's life from an evil spirit of greed Joe made a deal with them so that the spirit will have to stay in Joe's body until Joe eventually dies to avoid them from hurting anyone else. This spirit is known as the BeetleJhost and while Joe has done a pretty good job keeping him under control for all these years there has been times where the BeetleJhost would take control of Joe and startcausing problems on purpose.

When Joe first joined Hermitcraft he put a spell on himself that would chain the BeetleJhost up making sure that he would never take control of his body while on the server. He also found out that diamonds increase the BeetleJhost's power (because greed) so he has tried to avoid diamonds as much as possible throughout Hermitcraft to try and limit his power.

After Joe decided to stop using diamonds in season seven in order to limit the BeetleJhost's power even more the BeetleJhost got really angry and managed to break through the spell Joe but on him and is now more powerful then before. The BeetleJhost now plans to take over Hermitcraft manly so that he can sit on the diamond throne because greed.

Joe decided to tell Cleo about who he is and what's going on with him and Cleo agrees to help him find a way to destroy the BeetleJhost. Along the way some hi jinx's happen, Joe and Cleo talk about their pasts, and the BeetleJhost flirts with Cleo because I like the "flirty boy and girl who doesn't give a fuc%" trope.
