S 1 Ep 7
Valley
"Bow." Everyone did as told and Johnny ordered them into their fighting positions. "Holy shit, we got a room full of flinchers." "Yes sensei!" Cherry face palmed and Johnny said, "That was not a question. Raise your hand if you've never been punched in the face." Everyone but Cherry, Miguel, and Aisha rose their hands. "Put your hands down. All your lives, you've been avoiding fights so you don't break your nose or lose a tooth, this concussion nonsense. So there's only one solution and that is before you leave this dojo, each and every one of you is going to take a punch very hard to the face."
Miguel and Cherry shared a look. "Ms. Robinson, line them up. Unflinch this group." "Yes sensei." Aisha punched a few people when Miguel decided to talk to Johnny. Cherry wanted to go too, but decided that helping the students would be best.

The next day at school, Cherry was going to approach Miguel when Sam approached him first. Cherry paused and watched them. "Who are we watching?" Cherry jumped and glared at Aisha. "Sam just walked up to Miguel." Aisha nodded and they watched as Sam flirted with Miguel. "What a backstabbing bitch," Aisha muttered.
Cherry had enough and was going to walk over there when Sam leaned up and kissed Miguel. "Cherry?" Cherry ignored Aisha and she walked towards her locker with Aisha following. "Cherry, where are you going?" "Anywhere that's far away from here," Cherry hissed. "Cherry?" "Not now, Hawk."
Eli, Demetri, and Aisha watched as Cherry walked away, people getting out of her way. "Hey guys!" Miguel rushed over to them. "Guess who's going on a date with Sam tonight? Hey . . . Where's Cherry?" Miguel was looking around for the girl, but couldn't find her.
"She left."
"What? Why?"
Aisha looked down, and before Eli could say anything, Demetri spoke.
"We walked over and she was angry and just walked away."
"What?"
Eli glared at Demetri, then turned to Miguel.
"Look, don't worry about her, man. She's just gonna blow off some steam." "But I am and will always worry and care about her," Miguel said. "I'm her best friend." Aisha scoffed and said, "Some best friend." Aisha walked away and Miguel turned to the remaining two, who only shrugged their shoulders. Miguel sighed and took out his phone.

Where r u?
Cherry felt her phone buzz, so when she came to a stoplight, she took it out, only to see a text from Miguel. She scoffed and put her phone away. Upon arriving to her destination, she got off of her motorcycle.
Cherry knocked on the door and waited. "Cherry?" Johnny asked as soon as he opened his door. "What are you doing here?" "Can I get the keys to the dojo? Please." Johnny couldn't look at her eyes, for her glasses were blocking them. "Are you okay?" "Yeah, just, please sensei." Johnny sighed before giving her the keys. He watched as she rushed to her motorcycle and drove away. Groaning, he locked his door and ran to his car, trying to catch up to the girl.
When Cherry arrived to the dojo, she took off her jeans - she has shorts under - and stripped to her tank top. Putting her hair into a pony tail, she began to punch the punching bag that was hanging. That's what Johnny had walked in to.
"Cherry?"
Cherry ignored him and only began to punch harder.
"Cherry."
Her punches grew stronger and stronger, a fire burning in her eyes.
"Cherry!"
The bag flew off the hook and onto the floor, sand flowing out of it.
"Cherry?" Johnny watched with sad eyes as Cherry turned to him, not only tears were in her eyes, but defeat was also there. "What happened?" "He chose her." She tried her best to not let the tears fall, which is easier said than done. "He chose Sam." And Johnny did something he never thought he would do. After hugging Cherry, he sat her down and sat next to her. "Want to tell me what's wrong?" It was quiet for a while, the only thing that you could hear was Cherry breathing, trying to calm herself down.
"I like Miguel. And I - I thought that he liked me. He would flirt back every time I flirted with me. We got close and I actually thought that he liked me. But then, Sam came into the picture, flirted with him, and she kissed him. He didn't push her away, he kissed back. I hate them. They always win. The LaRusso's will always win."
Johnny tensed up at the mention of LaRusso. He stood up and looked down at Cherry. "Fear doesn not exist in this dojo, does it?" Cherry looked up at him. "No sensei." "Pain does not exist in this dojo, does it?" Cherry kneeled. "No sensei." "Defeat does not exist in this dojo, does it Ms. Bennington?" He watched with a proud smirk as Cherry rose from the ground.
"Hell no sensei."

"Band? What are you talking about?"
Cherry arched an eyebrow from her seat infront of Johnny. Miguel suddenly rushed in and he saw Cherry. "Cherry -" But she shushed him as they continued to listen to Johnny. "No, you don't band me! I'll band you!" Johnny banged the phone and sighed. "Sensei, what's going on?"
"There's a lifetime band on Cobra Kai from entering the tournament!"
"Who's ass do I have to kick?"
"Calm down, Cherry." Cherry made a fist and looked away from Johnny, ignoring Miguel. "How is that fair?" "It's not," Cherry and Johnny said in unison. "There's nothing I can do about it." "What happened to never accept defeat? There's no 'no'?" "That was girl talk -" Johnny immediately stopped talking as Cherry looked over. "Cherry -" But Charry abruptly stood up from her chair, grabbed her bag, keys and helmet, and stalked out of the office. Johnny sighed and muttered, "Oh, great. I'll deal with her later."

Cherry came home to an empty house yet again. She sighed, realizing that her parents will be longer than expected. She showered then changed into black leggings, a grey sweater that slipped off of one shoulder, and black socks. She put her hair into a pony tail and headed down to the kitchen. She grabbed a frozen pizza and threw it in their pizza over.
Sighing, she looked around and decided that she's going to bake. It's always been a thing for Cherry, to bake whenever she's stressed or upset. Connecting her phond to her speaker, she began to blast music from the 50s. As she danced around, she grabbed ingredients that she'll need to make brownies, along with some pans.
She was about to start when there was a knock on their door. Groaning, she paused her music and went to open her door. "Who are you and what do you want?"
A boy with sandy blond hair stood on the other side of the door. "I'm sorry to disturb you, but Mr. LaRusso told me I can come over here whenever he's not -"
"Daniel told you?"
"Yeah. Look -"
"When did he tell you this?"
"Um, last week."
Cherry groaned, but let the boy in anyway.
"What's up?" "I got in a fight." Cherry nodded and instructed him to sit on the sofa while she went to get a first aid kit. "Why do you call Mr. LaRusso by his first name?" "I am no longer friends with the LaRusso's." "Why not?" "That is none of your business." The boy sighed. "You're right, that's not my business. I stepped out of bounds. I'm Robby, by the way." "Cherry." It then turned quiet, making Robby feel awkward. "All right, you're all patched up." Robby thanked her and was going to walk out but stopped.
"Whatever is going on with you and the LaRusso's, I hope you guys fix it." Cherry scoffed and said, "I doubt it. Word of advice, don't get too close to Sam. She's only going to backstab you in the end. Now, get out of my house."
