Part 1, Chapter 7: Research

Amelia looked around, seeing a kid looking at her. Didn't move, or blink, just stared at her. She stared back, thinking something bad would happen to her if she looked away. All of a sudden Amelia froze, recognizing the child as none other than Abby. Abby walked closer, and Amelia could see tons of bite marks all over Abby. Bite marks from Foxy.

Abby was a foot away from Amelia now, and she started gagging on the smell of dead flesh. Abby opened her mouth slowly, a horrid smell coming out as she whispered, "Why didn't you save me?" Amelia continued to stare, despite how much the smell made her eyes water. She knew she couldn't look away. Right as she knew she was about to blink, Amelia saw someone step in front of Abby. It was Vincent, looking down at her with a confused look on her face. "I know it's boring here for someone your age, so I'm not going to get mad at you for falling asleep," he said quietly, "But with all the kids screaming and shouting, how did you sleep?" Amelia shrugged, staring Vincent in the eyes. His purple eyes.

"It's closing time, you  can go home now," Vincent continued, smiling a bit. Amelia nodded, looking outside as the sun was setting. She got up and walked over to the door, stopping as she opened it. "Hey, Vincent?," she asked, glancing over her shoulder, "Did anything bad happen here a while ago?" "Bad like what?," Vincent asked, confused. "Bad, like...," Amelia paused, but not sure why. She didn't really want to talk about the murders in front of Vincent, but she didn't know why. "Bad like a kid going missing," she finished. Vincent nodded, saying, "Yeah, a kid goes missing every now and then. Mainly in the summer, when too many people are in the Pizzeria to even bother keeping an eye on their kids."

Amelia nodded, saying, "Thank you," before leaving the Pizzeria. When she stepped out into the light of the setting sun, she realized something. It had been cold in the Pizzeria. Too cold for a run-down Pizzeria's cooling system to be. But she shrugged it off, noting how the Pizzeria was in the shade anyways. A few yards away from the door, she heard it open, seeing Jake run out after her. "Man, I can't believe you slept the entire day away," he laughed, catching up to her. "You wanted to talk to me, remember? What about?," Amelia said, not interested in his taunting. He narrowed his eyes at her, asking, "When did I say this?"

"Last night near the train tracks," Amelia growled, not in the mood for his sarcasm. Tilting his head to the side, Jake said, "I wasn't anywhere last night, I was at home asleep." Rolling her eyes, Amelia turned away, hugging herself as she jogged away from the Shopping Center the Pizzeria was in. She really needed to do a bit of searching on the Pizzeria's past.

~At the House~

"So Amelia," her mom said, sounding perky, "How was your first day at work?" Looking away from the computer screen, Amelia muttered, "I fell asleep next to the stage." Without hearing her mom's response, she turned and stared back at the screen to continue searching stuff. It had been about two hours, and she still hasn't found what she wanted. Her mom said something about going up to bed, so Amelia waved as her mother trudged up the steps. Just as Amelia as about to give up, she found what she was looking for. A newspaper article about a murder at the Pizzeria.

The article itself had been near the end of the search results, and it was from her hometown. Believe it or not, it was dated back to 1987. The year her friend Abby died. That made since, because the murder happened the same day. Clicking on the link, a bunch of error messages and adds popped up. As if the article didn't want to be opened. She began exiting all of the smaller windows, until finally her screen went entirely blue. Great, Amelia thought to herself, now a blue screen error. She waited a few minutes for the computer to reboot, only for the blue screen to go away and be replaced with a flickering image of Golden Freddy, the caption reading "IT'S NOT YOUR TIME TO KNOW". Amelia growled, thinking that the article had put a crazy virus on her computer.

She watched the picture continue to flicker, trying to figure out what it was showing as it flickered. But the more she stared, the more dizzy she got. But she just couldn't look away from the image, no matter how hard she tried.

Her eyes rolled back into her head, and she went unconcious.

She looked around, seeing that she was in the Pizzeria. Abby was getting taken away, and the four kids were lead into the back room. But she stayed put. She couldn't move this time. As she watched, the scene rewinded itself, and she saw the person in the Golden Freddy suit talking to Foxy. "So," the person said, "Remember what you need to do?" Foxy nodded, saying, "Yes, I need to create a good enough distraction to draw attention away from you and the four kids." Amelia gasped, watching as the Golden Freddy began to pull itself off again. But as she tried to look at the face, the image of Golden Freddy came up in her vision, this time saying to her, "It's not your time to know yet, Amelia."

Amelia jerked awake, the dream flooding back to her. It wasn't as gruesome as the first one, but still scary. She looked around, seeing she was still at the computer. The screen was normal, and an article was pulled up. It was the article she was trying to access earlier. She leaned forward, reading the words.

Five children, all around the ages of five to ten, have gone missing around the newly reopened Freddy Fazbera's Pizzeria.Abigail Crothers, Michael Thompson, Bella Brigard, Charlot Miles, Francis Miles are those of the five children. All five of them, bodies still not found two months after the investigation began, are now assumed dead. The murderer has been caught, the name                    (Last name unknown at this point) , which the police have decided to release at this time. We give kudos to                     (Last name removed at his request) for turning in the murderer.

Amelia gave the screen a confused look. any important information to her had been blocked out with a blurry line. The name of the murderer, and the person who turned them in, not available to her eyes. Shrugging, she continued reading.

The owner of the Pizzeria, for his crimes, has been put to death. At first, they tried the electric chair. After that failed, to many people's great surprise, the police went with lethal injection. That seemed to have worked. But a few days before burial, the corpse of the murderer was reported missing. Go to article C5 to continue the story.

Shocked by what she just read, Amelia saw a link to another article at the bottom of the page. She just had to continue reading! Clicking on the link, she began reading the next article.

The proclaimed murderer of the five missing children at the reopened Pizzeria, who has recently been put to death for his crimes, has been reported missing. His corpse, which had been under tight security, was found missing yesterday morning. The blame is put on the caretakers, but after viewing the security cameras, it had been discovered that noone or nothing had gone near the container holding the corpse. Thinking this as a simple misplacement, they checked the other cameras to find an unidentifiable person walking around the facility, seeming to stagger and crash into the walls. The local police officers have decided that this was the corpse of            , the lethal injection having only a minor effect of passin out on him. At this time, the city is placed under a watch to if you ever see             walking around, to immediately call the police. This man is highly dangerous and needs to be put away for good.

A clock chimed in the house, making Amelia jump. She looked at the old grandfather clock, seeing that it was almost midnight. She sighed, knowing she had to get up at nine for work. She shut the computer down, jogging quietly up the steps and into her room. That was enough crazy messed up stuff for one night.
