Beep, Beep, Beep! I groan, as I roll over to switch off the alarm. Instead I make full contact with Stephens chest. He grunts before sitting up and switching off the alarm. I lay back down, trying my hardest not to laugh as he looks at me, rubbing his chest where I whacked him. He smirks and I cant control myself anymore and we both burst into laugher. After calming down we share a kiss before going to get ready for work. We both have a quick shower, together of course, before getting dressed.

I put on my black skinny jeans, my black vest and my army boots. I pack my gym clothes, which consist of my running shorts, black diamond top and my trainers, into my bag. I leave my hair to dry naturally before going to the kitchen. I sit down with Stephen as we eat fresh fruit with cereal and a glass of orange juice. After eating Stephen kindly washes up whilst I grab his gym clothes and my laptop, which I need to take in to transfer some work over onto my work computer.

I pick up Stephens clothes and pack them into his bag.

I aslo grab his jacket off the bed before leaving our bedroom. I hand Stephen his things and we leave. We decided to drive  today, as were going to the gym later.

We stop off for coffee before heading to the ARC as we pull into the carpark, we see everyone getting in the trucks. Becker pulls upto my window (drivers seat), "Anomaly, Jess will text you the location." I nod before he drives off. I turn around before driving off the the address Jess texed us.

We pull up at the scene, only to be met by an abandoned building.

We all get out of our cars before grabbing an EMD each. We head over to Matt for our instructions. "Right, Becker, Stephen and Kat I want you to search these areas here (hes says pointing to the map). Connor and Abby head that way and Emily and I will deal with the anomaly." Matt says, making sure we all know what we are to do. We split up and head inside.

Walking through this building gives me an eary feeling. "Something doesnt feel right..." I say turning to Becker and Stephen. The nod in response before speaking with the others. Becker tells everyone to keep alert whilst we continue to search the building. Matt and Emily locked the anomaly and meet up with Connor and Abby and we all finished searching the building. We all met up outside. I looked to the others as we put away our EMD into their cases.                                                             "Guys, something about that building seemed off, did anyone else feel that?" Everyone nods in reply. Matt looks around before thinking for a minute.              "You're right, something did seem off, but we can't hang around. So Becker why dont you leave a team here until the anomaly closes and he they need us back then we can come back" Matt says, looking at me in particular. Becker nods before heading over to speak to his men. I link hands with Stephen and we walk to the car. I climb into the drivers seat and put my seat belt on. The radio turns on playing 'Shape if You' by Ed Sheeran as I pull away towards the ARC.                                         "Why don't we go out for lunch? Invite the team?" Stephen suggests. I nod a reply and Stephen speaks over the coms to the others. We agree to meet at a diner near the ARC.

After Lunch....
It was great just to relax with the team again. We all agreed that we should do it again soon. Anyway, right at the end of lunch we all got called back to the site of the anomaly scene. Soldiers on scene said there was alarms going off inside the building but they didnt want to head inside without our say so.  When we arrive on scene we all grab our EMDs before rushing inside. Me and Stephen are teamed together.  Abby, Connor and Becker in another team and Emily and Matt paired together. We split up and it doesnt take us long untill we find why alarms are ringing.

A fire. A fire had somehow started but had been trapped in a room so noone knew about it untill it was too late.       "EVERYONE OUT, NOW!!" Matts voice roared over the coms. Me and Stephen start to make our way out. We hear over the coms thats everyone else is out safe. We go to climb down the stairs when a beam falls. Stephen pushes me out the way, sepearting us. I scream his name. "Stephen!!! STEPHEN!!" I shout, praying hes still alive. Becker and Matt must have heard over the radio as they came in next to me. Becker grabbed me and started to drag me out as Matt tryed to help Stephen.        

"BECKER!! No...GET OFF ME!!! STEPHEN!" I scream and cry as Connor comes and helps Becker restrain me. I struggle and fight against their strong arms. I pretty sure I hit Becker in the face a one point. The fire is just getting worse. They have come out yet. Why?!! "They should be out now! STEPHEN!" I cry into Beckers arms as I sink to the ground. The fire is blaring and sirens can be heard in the distance. I look at the building, tears streaming down my face. Thoughts rushing around my head, is he okay? Is he alive? Will I ever talk to him, hear his voice again? My thoughts are inturpted as small, but loud crackles start to come from the building.

BOOM!
