I need to say this

Hello dear reader.

I am sorry if you expected an update (there are many to come), but this is something important.

I know it has nothing to do with this book, but this is something close to my heart that I HAVE to share.

Have you ever been bullied? Have you ever seen someone get bullied? Have you ever bullied?

Now yes, I know you heard people talk about this everywhere. I know people have preached to you about this countless times, but I now want to speak with you, one person to another.

If you are not a Christian/do not feel comfortable with reading my prayer (which I will respect), then skip the bold sentences.

If you don't feel like reading my mini backstory, skip the italics!

Now, I may not be from America or the U.K. or any such places you think of when you think "the movie where the kid gets bullied", but I assure you that it is everywhere

And that's sad.

Now, like any other sob story, I was bullied (am still at times) since Grade 1. The worst of it was that some of my bullies then were my best friends in pre-school. I became violent (even hit the bullies over the head with a plastic bottle filled with sand and pebbles because I was angry). I built a wall of weirdness and viciousness just so the bullies would keep their distance.

Then, Grade 4 and up, the verbal abuse became more frequent and blah blah blah. 8th grade (my first year of high school) I thought I'd start anew. And I did, though I still went through hell the first few months (but that's a story on its own). 9th grade I met this super funny, kind, well-mannered guy. We became best friends (love you W.W! You're amazing bro!) and we still are to this day.

Now, I was not a target, but my friend was. There were times that they actually wanted to take videos of his torment.

And that now happened recently.

It was the end of break time and we were headed back to class. All of a sudden, the big group of bullies called my friend out. I, knowing what will happen, ushered him forward.

Then I looked the fraggers straight in the eyes (and camera) and said : "IF I FIND ANY VIDEO OR PHOTO OF HIM (my friend) OR MYSELF ON ANY SOCIAL MEDIA OR PRIVATE COMMUNICATION APP, YOU CAN EXPECT ME TO GO TO THE POLICE!!!!"

Now, not only did that shut everybody up, but the whole damn courtyard stood and stared at me in silence. I may have seemed like an idiot to some, but you know what?

I AM A PROUD IDIOT!

I walked on and a few girls actually came up to me and asked what happened. Some actually DEFENDED the bullies! I made it clear that I was serious (which, again, shut them up) and turned my back to them.

Afterwards I had math, and in math I finally lost it. I stood up and spoke my mind (with the techer's permission). I never thought I could manage a speech like that, but you know what?

The truth came out in many ways.

I got messages and had people come to me afterwards to thank me and share their experiences and worries. I now have an amazing teacher on my side and I know there will be more as time goes on.

I stood up and made a difference (even if it was small).

Please, I ask of you to go and make a difference too.

I would like to pray for you. I would like to pray for all the bullies out there. So here is a prayer for you:

Dear Dad,

I pray for the amazing person reading this. Lord, I pray that you will bless them and be with them. Give them happiness, Lord, and give them peace.

 I pray for Your protection.

Place Your angels around us and shield us from harm.

Father, I know You do not put us through things if we are not able to handle them.

So forgive us if we doubt You.

Dad, I pray for the bullies. I pray that You will open up their eyes and hearts. Work with them. Help them see their faults and help them change their ways.

Give them not chaos and pain, but happiness and love.

Have Your Holy Spirit move within us, Lord. Allow us to live in such a way that lowly actions do not bring us down, but help us become stronger so we may help others.

Thank You for Your love.

Thank You for this beautiful reader.

I pray in the name of Jesus Christ,

Amen

Thank you. Just the fact that you stuck around so long shows that you are a beautiful person.

I wish you all the love and goodness of the world!
