What do you do when your emotions break
I mean it's kinda like a dull ache
But nothing feels like it used too

Even when you look at important people who
Raised you
Cared for you
Loved you
Was there for you
But you feel nothing
And you know you should feel something

You cry because it's expected of you
Same thing with smiling too
Forming emotions
Becomes part of going through the motions

When you realize that just faking a smile
Became faking everything after awhile

When you realize that you're no longer the same
When you realize you don't even need a name

When what makes us all alike
Has taken a hike
How do you cope when you can't feel
Especially when you know you'll never heal

You see others falling too
And that, one should never go through
You want to help but don't know how
And realize feelings could help me now

You want to feel
To tell them what it's like and that it's real
But you don't
And you won't

You never will
