Story Scene and Idea: TMNT/Voltage Crossover (Riki) Father Daughter Story

TMNT: 2007 Movie characters. References to probably all ranging from the 80/90 movies to 2014 movie and 2003/2012 series.
Name: Jane (probably gonna be this for all of these cuz I'm lazy)
Important Info: Riki's daughter, mother died, 21. Blonde hair, steel grey eyes, 5'5. On 16th birthday, she was home alone (New York, [Riki moved for work] He was going to pick up her uncles at the airport.) House exploded and she got mutated into a cat shapeshifter. Basically she can go from a having just a tail and ears (blonde) to being a blondish colored cat. She ran away when she realized what she had become and everyone thinks she's dead. Mikey found her in the sewers (in cat form) after a year on the streets. He picked her up, and she transformed in his hands. Been with them ever since and Master Splinter has been teacher her. Her weapon is a single Katana.

"I'm now officially 21." I murmur, sitting on the edge of a building. "Happy Birthday to me." I watch as people on the street below walk by, some alone, some with others.

They don't know how lucky they are. They don't have to hide. They...They don't have to worry about being seen. They don't have to only come out under the shadow of darkness.

I move my gaze up to the stars. I wish...I wish I could see my family. I close my steel colored eyes. My father's eyes. I push my hood back and run my hands through my long blonde hair, my ears folding back as I do so. I smile as a song comes to mind, something mom used to sing. I start to hum the melody and softly sing it, becoming louder as I go.

I know you didn't think loving me meant so much time alone
Dinner for one on the couch another movie on your own
You know that I am never going to be, a nine to five, that was never me
I was born with a compass in my head and a restless soul
But when it hurts, when you can't take it
And when the rubber band, feels like it's breaking

Then hear the kick drum that's my heart right there
Let the melody run its fingers through your hair
And my piano will kiss you slow tonight
And my vocal tickle your ear
And you almost can feel me here
And my piano will kiss you slow tonight

As far as ladies go, baby you should know you're so patient
You're a thick skinned definition of low maintenance
But if enough time goes by, you can't help but dim your light
An empty house can make a cold heart feel so naked
But when it hurts when you can't take
And when the rubber band, feels like it's breaking

Then hear the kick drum that's my heart right there
Let the melody run its fingers through your hair
And my piano will kiss you slow tonight
And my vocals tickle your ear
And you almost can feel me here
And my piano will kiss you slow tonight

Yeah, let the the piano be your second home
For a while
And hold onto every note, and baby listen to close
For me inside

And hear the kick drum that's my heart right there
Let the melody run its fingers through your hair
And my piano will kiss you slow

And hear the kick drum that's my heart right there
Let the melody run its fingers through your hair
And my piano will kiss you slow tonight
And my vocal tickle your ear
And you almost can feel me here
And my piano will kiss you slow tonight

Will kiss you slow tonight
Will kiss you slow tonight
Will kiss your slow tonight

Kiss You Slow Andy Grammer

As I finish, my ears pick up voices. I stand, whirling around, drawing my katana from its sheath on my back. My [color] mask tails fling around to rest on my other shoulder, my hair going with it. I scan the rooftops. Dammit. All I wanted was some time alone. If it was the Foot or Kraang, they would have already attacked by now.

I jump when I hear a soft thud beside me, and spin around, bringing my blade in a downward arc.

A hand grabs both of mine around the handle, effectively stopping my swing. A three-fingered hand. I'm staring into a pair of green eyes framed by a red mask.

"Easy Tiger." He lowers my blade and let's go. The turtle standing before me smirks. "Jumpy much?"

"Dammit Raph. You nearly scared me to death." I sheath my blade. "What're you doing up here?"

"Clearin' my head from Leo's ranting, same as you. What's this about a birthday?"

I sigh. "I'm 21 today."

"You're older than us?"

"Mhm. Only by a year though."

"Why didn't you tell anyone?" He squints at me, crossing his arms over his chest, or plastron, or whatever the shell it's called.

"Not exactly a happy day for me." I pick up more whispers. "Do you hear that?"

"What?" More voices.

"That!" I turn and start off across the roof, my cat instincts taking in.

My vision becomes sharper and my ears prick up. I can hear farther and now the whispers become voices.

"Riki! Dammit! I'm not leaving."

"Kenshi shut up and go!"

What?! Riki? Kenshi?

I see two figures standing about three rooftops away, fighting off multiple Foot Ninjas.

"C'mon!" Raph flies by me.

"Dammit!" I take off after him despite the sinking feeling in my stomach.

As I land on the roof beside Raph, the fighting ceases for a moment as they all stare at us. Dad. I stare momentarily into the two grey eyes that my own mirror. He looks between Raph and I with wide eyes. Uncle Kenshi does the same. They both looked shocked. I wonder if they....

"Get the turtle!" At that most of the Foot soldiers turn to face us.

I pin my ears back and roll my eyes, lazily drawing my katana. "What am I, chopped catnip?" I flip one of them as he rushes at me.

"Did you just make a pun about yourself?" Raph glances over at me as he takes out a few with his sais.

"Yes. Yes I did." By the time we take out about 15 of the 20 ninjas, the rest retreat.

Raph takes a step towards Dad and Uncle Kenny, looking kind of menacing, but I grab the edge of his shell. "C'mon. We've done our part."

"But-"

Dad's eyes get really wide when he hears Raph talk, but he keeps staring at me. I've kept my ears pinned back and I'm avoiding all eye contact. "You two should go. Come on." I take my hand off of Raph's shell and turn around to walk away.

"Riki man c'mon."

I perch right on the edge, looking back and watching Raph. Come on dammit. It's been 6 years and I'm supposed to be dead. As Uncle Kenny drags Dad away, they both keep staring at me. I look away and down at the street, not realizing I let my ears stand back up.

When Raph takes off, I stand and...stop. I look back, locking eyes with my dad. I'm sorry. I turn away and follow Raph.
