Continuation of previous chapter...
"Hey Jerry...where is everyone?" Tia asked returning to the Hawaii Five-0 area.
"They went out. Got a lead on their case to where their suspect was. Went out to get him" Jerry said, looking up from what he was doing on the tablet table.
"Okay" Tia said, going to sit in her office. An hour later and the team still hadn't returned. Tia had a bad feeling.
"Hey Jer...when did they go? Shouldn't they be back by now?" Tia asked, coming out of her office.
"Yeah...they left and hour before you came back..." Jerry said. Tia pulled out her phone and tried to ring Steve. It rang through to his answer phone.
"Steve's not answering. I'll try Danny and Kono. You try Lou and Chin" After trying the team multiple times, no-one answered.
"Dammit..." Tia said.
"Should we call HPD. Get a team together?" Jerry asked, as Tia was now the only member of the team.
"No...there's an event down at the beach...it will take too long. I can get a team together quicker" Tia said, pulling out her phone. Just then Adam walked in through the doors. He tried to talk to Tia, but she waved him off, so he went to talk to Jerry who informed in off the situation.
"This is Junior Agent Ashmore...I need to get an emergency team together. I believe Five-0 task force is in trouble" Tia said. She was asked some question before she gave them an address.
"Thank you..." She said, hanging up the phone.
"Helicopter is picking me up in 5 then we're gunna move in. We'll get them." Tia said, putting her vest on and grabbing a gun from the cabinet.
"Tia..." Adam said. Tia knew what he was asking.
"We'll get them" She said, telling him that he couldn't come. Tia turned around and stopped abruptly.
"Katherine..." She said shocked.
"I can explain..." She said.
"Not now...the teams in trouble...crap" Tia said noticing the time.
"We can talk afterwards but I need you to do me a favour" Tia said to Kathrine.
"Okay..." Katherine said seriously.
"Danny's supposed to be picking up Grace. Her mum's out of town. She only knows you..." Tia said.
"Yeah...go, go. I'll get Grace" She assured Tia. Tia nodded and ran outside to where the helicopter would be picking her up. She jumped in when it arrived.
"Agent Ashmore"
"Agent Leanne. Agent Kent" Tia smiled to her training officers.
"Thanks again for doing this" Tia said, the headphones.
"They're Ohana." Agent Kent said smiling. Tia smiled as they neared the location. The helicopter dropped them off on a field near-by where other agents were waiting.
"Everyone, this is Junior Agent Ashmore. This is her team...her Ohana. She's lead" Agent Leanne said. Tia was shocked but quickly got to work.
"We've got footage from inside the building. We sent in a camera." An agent said, handing the Tia a tablet.
"Okay...I have an idea" Tia said, before going on to explain her idea to everyone. Agent Leanne gave the go ahead so everyone moved in. Once everyone was in position, Tia walked inside solo. She stopped behind the lead men who was holding a gun to team whilst pacing. Steve made eye-contact with Tia. She nodded letting the team know she had a plan and to go with it.
"Drop it" She said to the guy, raising her own gun and loading a bullet into the chamber of her gun so the man knew she had a weapon. He turned around and laughed. He clicked his fingers and 7 more guys appeared, all with guns which were now pointed at Tia.
"You think you're so smart. Coming in here but you're just a kid...like you can stop me" He spat, pointing his gun at Tia.
"ooo, I'm soo scared" Tia mocked.
"I'm not going to ask again" Tia said seriously.
"Kid you're outnumbered, give it up" The guy said.
"Actually...I think you lot are the one's who are outnumbered" Tia laughed. Just then 20 agents appeared from various positions where they were hiding. Steve smirked, proud of Tia.
"So...you going to put the gun down?" Tia said, proud of herself. The guy hesitated, before him and all his men, dropped to the floor. Agents took the guns away whilst others handcuffed the bad guys and took them away. Agent Kent and Agent Leanne helped Tia cut the zip ties that the bad guys had used to tie up the team.
"Are you okay?" Tia asked as Steve pulled her in for a hug.
"We are thanks to you kiddo" He said pulling away.
"Oh – Danny, Katherine picked up Grace as she's back at HQ with Adam and Jerry" Tia said, stopping him from freaking out.
"Katherine?" Steve asked shocked.
"Yeah, she turned up before right before I left...she said she'd explain when we got back. I sent her to get Grace as Grace doesn't really know Adam and I knew that Rachel was out of town..." Tia said explaining everything.
"Right..." Steve said.
"Thank you" Danny said, hugging the teen as well.
"Not gunna lie...that was pretty badass" Kono laughed. Tia laughed as well.
"Yeah- how do you get a whole FBI tea like that?" Chin asked impressed.
"A) I work for the FBI and B)" Tia said, before pointing to Agents Kent and Leanne who were stood next to her.
"You guys are her Ohana. Ohana means everything" Agent Kent said – like he did to Tia in the helicopter.
"I know there's agents in this area but how did you get here so quickly?" Steve asked the 3 as they walked outside to their cars.
"Helicopter" Tia said happily. Steve smiled.
"It was soo fun" Tia said – as it was her first time in a helicopter.
"You know Tia...we're taking the helicopter back. We could always give you another ride" Agent Leanne said as she smiled at the teen.
"Really?" Tia asked happily.
"Of course...after all most of the guys we arrested from this op turned out to be on our wanted list anyway" Agent Leanne said.
"Guess I'll see you back at the palace" Tia said, handing Steve her gun.
"Bye" Steve said, as Tia went off with her training officers. They were dropped off by local agents to the field that they landed in where the helicopter was waiting. Once they got inside, the pilot started it up and took off.

"Thanks again...and for the ride" Tia smiled, as she hopped out of the helicopter.
"We'll see you next session" Agent Kent said. Tia nodded and shut the door. The moved away from the helicopter and watched as it took off. Once it was gone she made her way inside the palace.
"Tia!" Grace said, running up to the teen once she entered through the glass doors.
"Hey Gracie" Tia said, giving the young girl a hug. Tia took off her vest and put it away before she sat down and chatted with Gracie. 20 minutes later Steve and the others walked back in. Grace ran over to Danny. Steve saw Tia and gestured for her to follow him into his office.
"I'll be back in a minute kiddo" Tia said to Grace, before walking into Steve's office. Steve was now sat at his desk and Katherine was sat on the couch. Tia leant against Steve's desk.
"What are you doing back Katherine?" Steve asked.
"The project I was helping out on – they got to where they need to be, so I wasn't needed anymore...I wanted to come and apologise for leaving like that. I'm being re-deployed with the Navy. I'm only back in Hawaii until tomorrow" Katherine said sincerely.
"Why didn't you tell us?" Tia asked, as Katherine left without a proper goodbye or warning.
"For two reasons actually...1) There wasn't enough time to explain properly. I was told about it in the morning and was getting a boat then plane in the afternoon. And 2) I couldn't face it..." Katherine said. She wiped away a tear from her eye.
"I get it...It's hard saying goodbye when you don't know if you're coming back" Tia said after a few awkward moments in silence. Both Steve and Katherine smiled. Tia walked over to Katherine and pulled her into a hug.
"If I can forgive her...so can you" Tia said jokingly, before leaving the pair to it and exiting Steve's office. She went to her office. She changed out of her jeans and slipped into her shorts before putting her gun and badges back on her belt. She put her trainers back on and went back out to the others. Chin and Danny were adding notes to the case file on the computer whilst Kono was talking to Grace. Tia joined Kono and Grace. Grace clung to Tia's side. Kono had told them a joke and they were all laughing. Danny smiled when he saw Tia and Grace. Tia was like another daughter to him. Tia smiled back and turned her head to look inside Steve's office. Right as she did Steve and Katherine hugged. Katherine laughed at something Steve said before they came out to join everyone.
"Right...I don't know about you lot but I'm starving..." Tia said, holding her belly. The others agreed.
"What do you wanna eat Grace?" Tia asked the young girl.
"Pizza" Grace said goofily. Everyone laughed.
"Pizza it is then" Steve said. Everyone agreed and went out to their cars. They met up at the pizza place and sat down together. It's times like this that Tia enjoys the most. Spending quality time with her new family. Her Ohana. It's also times like this that make Tia realise how far she's come in the months since her fathers death and her big, life changing move to Hawaii.
