"Tia, come on let's go!" Steve shouted from his place at the bottom of the stairs.
"I'm coming!" Tia shouted back, before a pattering of feet could be heard bouncing down the stairs.
"You good?" Steve laughs, seeing how flustered the teen is.
"Yeah, yeah. Let's go" She responded, whilst pulling her hair up into a ponytail. The pair grabbed their belongings before rushing out to Steve's truck. They both jumped in a sped of to their newest crime scene with lights and sirens blaring.
"Morning" Tia said, as they joined their colleagues at the crime scene.
"What do we have?" She asked.
"Female, aged 25 to 30. Shot twice in the chest but here's the thing...the bodies been moved" Kono said, pulling up the details of their victim.
"Got an I.D?" Steve ask, making Kono shake her head. Both Steve and Tia made their over to look at the victim before she was taken away. It's only when Steve pulled the sheet that was covering the body away that Tia sighed.
"I know who she is..." Tia said, standing up. She pulled out her phone and fiddled with it before showing the team a picture.
"Miya Rheese. 28. She worked with my mum and dad...I only met her once" Tia said.
"Right...let's head back to the palace and see what we can dig up" Steve said, pulling the teen out of her trance. Tia nodded her head before following her uncle back to his truck.

The others made their own way back to the palace and within 30 minutes, the team had dug up enough information to actually have a case.
"So, we found that Miya is originally from New York, but we can't access any of her files. We've tried contacting the local office about it but with no success..." Chin says, pulling up a file onto the screen.
"I think I have a way around that, give me a few minutes" Tia says, before walking into her office. She sits down at her desk and pulls out her mobile.
"Hello?"
"Hey Bosco...it's Tia. I need to ask a favour" Tia says, typing away on her laptop.
"Sure, what's up?" Officer Boscorelli from New York asks.
"We have a case here and our victim is originally from New York, but we can't access her file."
"Okay, one second" Bosco says.
"Right, what's her name?" He asks.
"Miya Rheese – R.H.E.E.S.E" Tia says.
"Right, one second" Bosco says, typing away on a computer.
"Okay, the file was locked out from someone in New York, but I can unlock and send it over to you" Bosco says.
"Okay, thanks"
"Should be done in 10 minutes"
"Thanks Bosco, I'll text you when we get it" Tia says, before disconnecting the call. Tia then stands up and walks back out to the others.
"We'll have the file within 10 minutes" Tia says proudly.
"How?" Danny asks shocked.
"I owe Boscorelli a favour" Tia says, making the others nod.

Within minutes, the team receive the file and can start working the case. Danny & Steve go to Miya's sergeants office to find out about her work whilst Kono and Chin head with Tia to Miya's home. When they arrive at her house, they meet the neighbour who has a spare set of keys and they let themselves out.
"Oh god..." Tia says, noticing a picture frame on the counter. It was Miya and her husband – Stefan.
"I forgot she was married...we need to inform him before he finds out on the news." Tia says. Leaving Kono and Chin at the house, Tia gets a lift back to the palace with Steve and Danny. They have uniforms go to collect Stefan and bring him back to the palace.

"Can I do it?" Tia asks Steve as they stand outside the room that Stefan is sat in.
"If you're sure" Steve agrees.
"Yeah...he knows me...it will be easier for him" Tia said. Steve nods and they open the door.
"Stefan..." Tia says, walking into the room he's in with Danny right behind him.
"Tia...what's going on? Why am I here?" Stefan asks standing up. He never had been one for waiting.
"Stefan...let's take a seat, yeah?" Tia said, sitting down at the round table in the room. Stefan's face instantly  changed. He sat down.
"Stefan..." Tia started.
"Is it Miya?" He asked wearily.
"Yes"
"She's dead, isn't she?" He asked, trying to hold it together.
"Yes. I'm so, so sorry. Stefan." Tia said.
"What happened?" Stefan asked, looking up at Tia and Danny with bloodshot eyes.
"We don't know yet...that's what we're trying to find out" Danny said, seeing that Tia was finding this hard.
"Please find whoever killed my wife" Stefan said. Both Tia and Danny nodded. Stefan got up and left. He now had the hardest job of all. Contacting family and making all the necessary arrangements, all whilst dealing with the loss of the person he loves.
"You alright?" Danny asked Tia as they left to join the others.
"Yeah..." Tia said. When they joined the others, they were going through possible suspects. Stefan was on the list.
"I can tell you now he didn't do it." Tia said. Everyone looked at her.
"A) They've been together since they were 14. They had so much love and respect for each other. They served together. B) They've bee through a lot together. They had a miscarriage, Miya's brother died and Stefan's mum died. Trust me when I say he didn't do this" Tia said, making her point.
"We know – his alibi is solid anyways" Kono said. Tia nodded.

Later that day, the team had come far in their investigation. They had dug up information that could've led to Miya's death. After running through every lead they had, they came to a dead end. Everyone was in their offices doing some digging. Tia was looking over everything they had when something caught her eye. Putting it all together, Tia went out to the main area. She knocked on everyone's offices and gestured for them to come out.
"I found something" Tia said proudly. She typed something into the computer before putting it up on screen.
"I think it's a case of wrong place wrong shot" Tia said.
"I found some CCTV from near the drop site...and found this" She said playing the video. It showed a man running into the street and firing at another girl, however the bullets hit Miya. The guy panicked, grabbed her and tried to move her. He didn't get very far before he dropped her and ran.
"Where did you find this?" Steve asked shocked.
"I know a guy" She said.
"Who is he?"
"Jordan Bell" Tia said, pulling up his identity on screen. The team geared up and drove to his home. Spreading out around the house, the got ready to move in.
"Five-0!" Everyone shouted, making entry.
"Jordan! Get down on the ground! Down on the ground!" Tia said, as Danny as they others came to back her up. Jordan panicked as obliged.
"Jordan Bell you are under arrest for the murder of Miya Rheese" Tia said, putting him in handcuffs. She handed him off to Chin.
"Kono, Chin and Danny, take him back to the station. Tia – let's go and inform Stefan" Steve said. Everyone nodded. Tia hopped in the car as they drove to Stefan's house. Tia went and knocked on the door.
"We got him" She said, once Stefan answered the door.
"Really?" He said, slightly happy.
"Yeah...I'm soo sorry Stefan. Miya died because the guy was a bad shot and missed his target" Tia said.
"Thank you" Stefan said, hugging Tia.
"You're welcome. Let me know about everything and I'll be there" Tia said. Stefan nodded and closed the door. Tia went back to the palace with Steve to close the case with the others. Everyone went home after another long day at work. When they got home, Tia went out for a swim with Steve to wash away the thoughts of the day. She loved swimming to clear her head.
