"Morgan please..." I say gently. He looks me in the eyes before slowly nodding, allowing me to take the gun. I remove the clip form it and slide it to the side right as I hear multiple gun clicks from behind us. I turn around and see SWAT & Five-0.
"Don't shoot! He surrendered. He's now unarmed!" I shout, standing in front of him and looking at Uncle Steve. Lou comes over and handcuffs Morgan as I explain to them team the situation and deal I made with Morgan.
"I promised to help you and I will – these men are going to take you to where I work and I'll be there soon okay?" I say reassuring Morgan before he is taken away.
"Danny Grace is safe come with me" I say, running off in the direction of the restaurant that I left her in. I knock on the door.
"It's Tia – open up! It's safe!" I shout, making the manager open the shutters. The minute Grace sees Danny she runs to hug him.
"Danno!" She shouts as they engulf each other in a huge hug. After a few minutes together, Grace pulls away and runs to me.
"Tia – you're okay!" She says, as I pick her up.
"Of course, I am." I say, making her giggle.
"Come on misses, lets get you home – we have a case to work and I need to have a chat with your mum" I say, dreading how Rachel is going to act upon hearing about what had happened.

After driving us to Graces house, I told Danno to wait in the car as not to make things worse with Rachel. I take Graces hand as I walk up to the front door where Rachel is waiting.
"Rachel, I'm really sorry about today, I-" I start to say only to be cut off by Rachel.
"Tia, I'm not angry. You had no idea that this was going to happen, you stopped the shooter by yourself and amongst all of this you still kept Grace safe. I'm not mad at you – Thank You Tia" Rachel says, pulling me in for a hug.
"Its...no problem...really" I say smiling before giving Grace a hug and reassuring her that I would see her soon. I give them a wave before making my way back to Danno's camaro and hopping in right before he pulls away and starts the drive to the palace.
"So that went better than I thought..." I say, making the pair of us chuckle.
"Right...on to solving this case – I need to do this..." I say taking a deep breath in.
"You okay?" Danno asks, glancing at me before returning his eyes to the road.
"Yeah, yeah I'm good – it's just a bit close to home..." I say, wiping the quick tear that falls.
"Morgan and my dad...they were like the chuckle brothers...always there for each other, making each other laugh" I say, smiling at the memories of the pair.
"They were really close...I met his family once – his daughter can't be more than 5 years old Danno" I say, looking at him in sadness and in anger.
"Hey, we'll solve this – and his family will get what they deserve" Danno says, just as we pull up outside the palace.
"Oh, I forgot to mention – remind me to pay $250 to Milatree, I kinda borrowed this vest and thigh holster" I say, gesturing to the bag in the back.
"Right okay..." He says, making me chuckle.
"Lets go" I say, walking into the palace and up the stairs.

We walk through the glass doors and into the main area where everyone is already gathered.
"What do we got?" Chin asks, wondering what the new case is.
"Well, this is the mall gunman – Morgan Grimes. He worked with my dad. A month or so ago his 4-year-old daughter, Sarah, and his wife, Lily, were killed in an explosion. Police closed the case saying it was a gas leak due to insufficient evidence...but Morgan knows that this guy...Charles Riki Moore, killed them" I say, moving the relevant information and files etc around the screen so that the team could see them.
"Okay, so what do we have on this Charles guy...and how does Morgan know he killed his family?" Kono asks, enlarging the image of Charles.
"Well he has priors. Burglary, theft, multiple accounts of assault, car jacking and failed ticket payments" I say, reading from his file.
"Right, and why does Morgan think this guy killed his family?" Jerry says.
"Well, Charles was seen multiple times by Morgan and his wife hanging out about their family home and at the park when they took Sarah out. He was supposedly seen by one of the neighbours looking through windows of the house. His DNA was also found on the broken lock at the house and a bunch of screw was found at his place..." I say, pulling up the images of the damage to the house.
"I called in a favour earlier with a friend of my dad and he confirmed what I thought...this damaged was caused by a small, home-made, screw and accelerant bomb." I say, bringing up and image of what they bomb probably looked like.
"Now because of the accelerant and how it gets spread around, its hard to tell that it was a bomb unless you've been trained or it's what you're looking for." I say, shocking the team.
"So, did the police miss this? Or did Charles get away?" Kono says, flicking through the file.
"I think it's a bit of both...but one thing is sure – I'm bringing this guy in!" I say, grabbing my vest from my office, whilst waiting for someone to follow. To my surprise the whole team gears up and follows me outside. We all get into our cars and drive to his address. When we get there surprisingly his car is there and music can be heard from inside.
"Right, me, Tia & Danny will cover the front – everyone else on the back" Steve says before we split up. The 3 of us head for the front and get ready to breach.
"On 3." Steve says into the coms.
"1,2,3!" I say, before Steve kicks the door in and we enter. Straight away I come face to face with Charles.
"Don't move!" I shout, pointing my gun at him.
"Charles Morris, you're under arrest for the murder of Lily and Sarah Grimes and the creation and use of a screw and accelerant bomb" I shout, and Danno cuffs him and leads him out to a waiting squad car.
"Well done" Steve says, patting me on the shoulder.
"What will happen to Morgan?" I say, as we head back to the car.
"Well as he didn't hurt anyone – and with his emotional state the court decided to put him on tracker with a curfew and night house arrest" Steve says, making me smile.
"Good, he doesn't deserve to be locked away after something like this..." I say, as the three of us head back to the palace.

Mini Time Skip >>
"Morgan...he's locked away, will be for the rest of his life" I say, as I walk into his cell, making him look at me in anticipation.
"Thank you so much!" He says, looking down at the hand cuffs.
"Oh and due to everything that's happened and your vulnerable mental state, the court have decided to let you go on tracker with a curfew and night house arrest for 4 months and you have to go to counselling once a week." I say, making him sigh with relief.

"You know I was never going to hurt anyone, not even Charles...he didn't deserve the easier way out" Morgan says, as the tech guys attaches the tracker anklet.
"I know...just- don't do that again..." I say, as he gets up to leave. I walk him out and out of the station.
"Morgan..." I say, as he leaves the station.
"Thank you for being soo much like your parents..." He says making me chuckle, as he gives me a hug.
"For getting justice for them...I don't know what to do anymore" He says, making me smile a little.
"You continue to life. I mean it's hard and it will take time – but they wouldn't want you to be sad and not go on" I say, making him smile a little.
"Thank you" He says, before walking away.
I look up at the sky and smile.
"Thank you!" I say to my parents, because without them I wouldn't be where I am today.

I wont be updating for a few weeks as I have mocks all next week, my first college interview on Friday (19th) and a few appointments the week after – all of this on top of being busy with revision etc...due to this being my final year at school= exams.
