A/N – Hey guys! Sorry I've been M.I.A recently, I've had a lot of thing to sort out as I go into my final year if school (year 11) on the 6th of Sept. I will try to update a few more times before I return to school, but once I have returned updates will be slow and irregular. School comes first, but thanks for reading and your understanding! It's my first day on the job. To say I'm nervous is an understatement...I know the team well so that's not an issue. I think I'm just nervous because I'm so new to the job.

I wake up early, at 5am, making sure I have plenty of time to get ready. I change into my swimsuit before heading outside. I meet Uncle Steve, and we run straight into the water. We swim and mess around a bit for an hour or so before heading back in. I go shower and get ready for work.

I grab my clothes on the way to the bathroom. After washing my hair with my strawberry scented products, I let the water wash always some of my nerves away. 10 minutes later I'm out of the shower, getting dressed and ready for work.

I put on my green and black shirt, my blue skinny jeans and my black doc martin boots. I clip my gun holster onto my belt and strap my knife onto my lower leg, under my boot. I grab my badges, attaching both to the other side of my belt, before grabbing my bag and walking out of my room.

I place my things down on the kitchen counter before walking over to the fridge. I look through the fridge, quickly coming to the conclusion, that we have no food again. I grab a bottle of water and head over to my things. When I turn around, I nearly have a heart attack when I find Danny standing there, holding two bags.
"Jeez! Dude! I nearly shot you, you scared the crap out of me!" I say, moving my hand away from my gun. Danny looks just a scared as me. After a few seconds Uncle Steve walks in.
"Morning...what's going on?" Uncle Steve asks, noticing me and Danny just starring at each other.
"What's going on here, is Little Miss Tia here, just nearly shot me!" Danny says, trying to sound serious, but not doing a very good job.
"No! Danno here, snuck in and scared me half to death, so if I did shoot him, it would've been his fault! How did you get in anyways?" I say, wondering how he got in, as the front door was locked.
"I have a key from when I lived here" He says, placing the bags he was holding down onto the counter. Uncle Steve just shakes his head and laughs.

"Anyways...I brought you breakfast because it's you first day and I knew you guys probably wouldn't have any food" Danny says, pulling out three boxes and bottles of juice. I smile and walk straight over to the box in Danny's hand. I open it to see pancakes with a waffle and syrup. I sit down, without saying anything, and start eating. I eat all of it in under 5 minutes. Guess I was super hungry. I open my juice and drink half of it, before getting up and putting the now empty box into the bin. I turn back to the others and laugh, as I see them both looking shell shocked at me.
"What...I was hungry" I say, making the pair chuckle.
"Okay, well we better head off. Need to pick up some final things for my office." I say, grabbing my things. This job is going to be amazing! I even get my own office. We all climb in Danny's camaro, and head for the shops. After 15 minutes in the shop, we're back in the car heading towards the palace. O brought some pens, and desk organiser things. I have to keep things spick and spam! I also brought some photo frames, as I have some really nice photos of the team and myself as well me and my friends. When we get to the palace, I'm welcomed by the others, (A.K.A- Jerry, Kono, Chin and Adam, even though he's not part of the team.) I go to my office and spend 30 minutes or so sorting everything out before we get a case. I join the others around the electronic table.

"Okay, this is Ellie Timil, 18 years old. She was on her way home last night from the cemetery when she was attack. She was beaten and raped and left for dead. She was found around 11pm last night by a patrol unit. She's currently at the hospital being treated for a broken arm and shoulder alongside some nasty cuts to her face and body. The hospital has completed a rape kit and it's in the lab being prosesed now. Hospital says she open for visitors." Kono and Chin explain, taking it in turns to bring up different bits of information on the screens.
"Okay, Kono and Chin, go down to the hospital and speak with Ellie. Me and Danny will look through the CCTV that was recovered from the area." Uncle Steve says.
"What about me? I could go with Kono and Chin. Female officers may be better in this situation..." I say.
"Okay, but only if you're sure" Uncle Steve says, making sure I can handle this case. I nod my head, and leave with Chin and Kono.

Time skip – Back at the palace >>>
"Okay, so we sat Ellie down with the sketch artist and we came up with a match. Jonnie Scheck. Originally, he's from the states, but as of last month he's been living out here in Hawaii. Since he's been here, he's been connected towards 4 previous murders. 3 women, all same story as Ellie, except they were shot and killed afterwards, alongside a child caught in the cross fire." I say, swiping his information and picture up onto the main screen.
"Okay, gear up! Let's go find him." Uncle Steve says. We all put our vests on and grab a big gun each, before driving to Jonnie's house.
"FIVE-0!" We shout, as we bust down the front door and search the house. I go throw 2 rooms, and meet up with Danny.
"Clear!" I shout, putting my gun back in its holster as the others join us having found nothing in the house.
"Okay so he's not here. We need to find him." Danny says, pointing out the obvious. Uncle Steve's mobile rings. He comes back inside a few minutes later.
"Patrols have him. He's holding someone hostage at the docks, Let's roll!" Uncle Steve says, and with that we run out of the house.

When we arrive at the docks, we all run towards where Jonnie is. He's screaming, trying to get everyone away. He knows. He knows he's not coming out of this alive, if he makes the slightest of moves, he gone.
"Jonnie! We know who you are and what you've done. Just let the woman go and put the gun down!" Uncle Steve says, as Kono gets into position ready to shoot him using the sniper.
"I can't do that!" He says, tightening his grip on the women.
"There's no way out! Either you release the woman, or we will be forced to shoot you" Danny says. Jonnie hesitates before releasing the woman. She runs over to Chin as myself, Uncle Steve and Danny move towards Jonnie. I grab his gun as Danny cuffs him.
"Book him Danno" Uncle Steve says, making me smile. Just then my phone rings. I answer it and listen closely, it's a nurse from the hospital.
"We've got to go. Now!" I scream, running towards the car, with the others hot on my heels.
"Tia, what's wrong?" Danny says, as we get into the car. I give Uncle Steve the address.
"That was the hospital. Ellie walked out 10 minutes ago. Jerry called saying officers found someone matching Ellie's description up on the bridge." I say. This makes Uncle Steve drive faster. After a few minutes, we arrive. I practically climb over Danny and leap out of the car. I rush over towards Ellie.
"Let me talk to her" I say, pleading with Uncle Steve and Danny.
"Okay" Uncle Steve says, nodding his head. I slowly walk towards Ellie.
"Ellie...Ellie, it's me Tia." I say, gaining her attention.
"Ellie, can you look at me?" I ask her softly. She turns around slightly.
"Ellie, what's wrong, what's happened?" I ask, wondering what's changed since I last saw her hours ago.
"I...I can't do this" She cries, looking back out over the bridge. Below, cars rush past.
"Yes, you can! I know what you've been through okay. I can't imagine how you feel but...please! Let us help you. Come down and we can talk." I say, slowly moving forwards and pleading with her. She shakes her head.
"No, no, no!" She screams.
"Ellie! Listen to me! You're stronger than this! You can, and you will get through this! Please come down! We got him Ellie. He's been arrested and will go to jail for the rest of his life. He's killed 4 other people, it's horrible to say, but if this had never happened, we may never have caught him! Think of everyone you've helped save today" She looks at me, tears streaming down her face. I walk forwards and take her hands. I help her down and lead her over to the ambulance. I sit and talk to her for a while before the ambulance has to take her back to the hospital.
"This is my number. Call me, day or night. I'll always be here if you need someone to talk to okay?" I ask Ellie. She nods and we share a hug before I walk over and join the others.

"Nice work kiddo" Uncle Steve says, slinging his arm over my shoulder.
"Thanks. I'm hungry" I say, making everyone laugh.
"Okay, lets head over to Kamekona's truck and celebrate your first day. Everyone agrees and we head off. Today is just the beginning and I already love this job!
