Since furmeets are almost always personal, it is hard to find one. You can just look up your state name with the word "furmeet" after it, and see what comes up. I myself found a furmeet not ten minutes away from where I live! :D Sadly, that was three (now seven) years ago, and none have been hosted since!

My husband, Tempest (A.K.A. @HCLonestar), suggested him and I should host our own furmeet. Problem with that: He doesn't have a fursuit, the fursuit I have is ugly as far as I'm concerned, and neither of us are that social.

I told him I could set up a date and stuff, and save up money to host an event. Damn it, I have no idea how to host a furmeet.

LUCKY FOR ME, I have a friend who does! One of the most basic things to do is plan a location. Next is date and time of day! You can also decide he the or not you're bringing refreshments for everyone, or if everyone brings their own. If deciding a furmeet should turn into an outing (where furries and their handlers go out on the town, in public places), make sure there is one Handler for at LEAST every two suiters. To avoid having it look like some weird fetish, do not give one furry more than two handlers.
