Electicuted Prank
Third POV
Burakku chuckled as he sealed the tiny envelope knowing it might get a rise out of the receiver, "This might be the best jab at that little thunderbird yet.... Though what else could I do?" Burakku questioned himself as he let candle wax fall onto the envelope before pressing his crest signa onto the wax before it cooled. There was a light knock on the hard oak door before Burakku called out for whoever to enter as he picked up the crest from the wax. The groaning from the hinges signaled Burakku to look up and to see that who entered was Kur as he gave a bored expression.
"Your thoughts are running wild again, Burakku," Kur sighed as he closed the door before he adjusted his trench coat he now wore, "do you think teasing Lenix as much as you do is not going to backfire one of these days? They may be patient and ignore your sly teasing, but there will be one of those days where they will lash out."
"I know, I know," Burakku sighed before frowning, "perhaps I just miss picking on Seimi... But my pent-up emotions release when I try to be my old playful self before I step up to the responsible role of a Devil. Can't I have a little bit of fun?"
"You may see the fun in teasing Lenix but sooner or later it will backfire," Kur sighed as Burakku got up and knocked on a panel the panel came down and Burakku placed the letter on the panel before slamming it back up, "you still sent it anyways didn't you?"
"Yep," Burakku gave a wide grin, "I'll be heading out now to see how it'll be delivered to our little Thunderbird friend quite quickly. Will you still be in the Celestial Terrain by the time I come back or will you be back in the mortal terrain in the town of Conjinham again?" Kur hummed as he looked at the panel again before shrugging.
"I have a few things to look into personally before I head to Conjinham or back to Makai," Kur sighed as he held his hand up to the side of his head as the fragments of his shattered star formed into a new star. He transforms into his new proto-star form, "I've been having this raw feeling and I just need to confirm a few things before I can just write off this raw feeling."
"You could also open up this raw feeling and I can take a look into things too Kur," Burakku started as he pulled on his red cloak, "or is it something that was stated back awhile ago when you went to that one council gathering with the Eldritch Gods?"
"It's none of that but more of something missing... I won't know for sure until I see it for myself," Kur sighed again, "I will share it with you if I cannot find it within a reasonable time but please try to be on your best behavior while speaking with Lenix. I mean it Burakku."
Burakku waved off Kur's warning and just waved his farewell as he headed out the door. Burakku hummed as he walked down the corridor. Before getting off the deck and heading towards the port that he asked Lenix to meet him at and where he had sent the letter. Chuckling, he saw the familiar blue hue of Lenix's trench coat and the softer hues of blue from both their wings and hair. "Hey-o~," Burakku called from the distance failing to realize the redness of Lenix's face or the fact that Lenix had already snapped their fingers as a lightning bolt came directly at Burakku's figure from behind.
It was quick but hurt extremely as Burakku coughed up smoke before looking at Lenix again to see them facing him faces beat red with anger in their eyes, "Burakku, Devil of the Neverland Star your teasing has gone far enough... you are so despicable you moronic demon," Lenix huffed angrily as Lenix closed the distance between them coming closer, "I let this foolhardy behavior go on far enough, I am not interested nor will I ever take that flirty behavior elsewhere!" Burakku stood silent, quite shocked that they had seen this outraged part of the Thunderbird. Being a deity they don't show much emotion as if they wore a mask to hide everything that bothers them and Burakku was right their static looks and cold blunt fronts are masks as he drove Lenix into breaking the mask and showing more outward emotions.
"Look Lenix I understand that," Burakku spoke softly, his voice hinting in a sober voice, "I was warned that sooner or later my teasing was going to get me into trouble but I chose to ignore and keep at it. And I am sorry, it's just that I miss the one I had loved truly from so long ago now. They were the unfortunate ones that had to try and protect everyone that night while I was away and Kur was attacked." Burakku held up his right clawed finger gloves, "Can you forgive me despite all my flaws of my flamboyant behaviors?"
Lenix looked to Burakku's outstretched hand before their eyes softened and sighed. "I see and yes I will accept your apology... And I am sorry that your loss was more vast than I originally thought," Lenix's voice was mellowed as they reached up and gripped onto Burakku's outstretched hand, "wait is that Kur's sphinx mare flying towards us?"
Burakku gave a confused look before turning around then widening his eyes before reaching up and having the sphinx mare land on his hand, "Kur what's going on? Are you alright?"
"I am very much fine I feel quite certain I am feeling joy right now," the small voice coming from the sphinx mare was Kur's voice, "I may have discovered that not all cores were destroyed that faithful day... Some may be shattered yes but they with time could be recovered for a proper burial... But one survived I am certain now Seimi didn't perish like we originally proclaimed." Burakku's eyes widened as his mouth opened but closed again.
Lenix noticed this and coughed grabbing Burakku's attention, "Go it seems like there is still hope for your loved one to still be around." Burakku nodded as the took a step back Burakku looked to the Sphinx mare again.
"Where are you, Lord Kur?" Burakku asked as he turned around before waving towards Lenix. Ad Lenix gave a wave back Burakku began to run as the soft low tone of Kur spoke through the Sphinx mare on where they were located. Lenix sighed as he held the letter before lightning struck it and turned it into flames.
"Maybe next time his behavior will change," Lenix heard behind him.
"Perhaps Aquilo, perhaps he will," Lenix said behind him, "aren't supposed to head to the mortal realm to give certain areas a scarce of artic winds in America's soon?"
"I have a couple more times before I am done with my intense Artic winds," this Aquilo sighed as the faint clicking of heels sounded behind Lenix, "Do you intend on telling the Neverland Star soon what we all saw?"
"Yes," Lenix sighed, "I just need to wait until the excitement settles again." Aquilo nodded their head before scuffing and walking the opposite way as Lenix turned around to follow.
