Why—

Why can't we just stop time

in its tracks,

freeze it with just a stare or thought

and doom it to be ours forever?

I wish I held such a power,

so that I could turn the happy times into events

that last for an eternity and more.

But,

as it is now,

it all remains as just a dream,

a broken veil of reality.
